The truck was dirty and had dog hair and food in it. I only moved 40 miles and they tried to make me clean it like I'm feeding a dog on a 40 mile trip. I told the person at the first location and he said it was "all good". That shows me that it was not cleaned at all or sterilized, there's a lot of disease going around and they need to clean the trucks.. also uhaul only gave me 37 miles to make a 43 mile trip, then tried to charge me more money even though I only used the truck for 6 hours out of the 24. The people when I dropped it off hastled me about not paying the extra money and it took up an extra hour of my time that could have been spent helping my wife unpack. The calculation for miles needs to do better with accounting for traveling to and from uhaul to your location as well as from where and to you are moving. Truck drove good, bad service on both ends and not a sanitary choice. Overall very negative experience. I won't be using again.

The older man that works there is rude and abrasive towards customers. He was not helpful at all with my issues instead he was defensive and argumentative. 10/10 will never use his business for anything ever again.

First i went to u haul place in Humboldt Tn. There i did all my paper work and reserved a truck for June 1st at 8:30 am. U haul sent me a email saying u haul would contact me by phone by 6:00 Pm on May 31 to confirm and give me all the information i needed to pick up the truck. No one called!! I started calling u haul at 6:45 on may 31 and listented to your recorded message telling me how important my call was. I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes until someone answered and quickly told me i needed someone else and said she was connecting me directly. Again i had to listen (for 30 more min) to your recording. Finally someone answered and was very rude and told me none of what i had been told was true and that my pick up site which was 7 minutes from my home would open at 10:00 the next morning. I explained i had movers hired to be at my house at 8:30. She said im sorry but your pickup site is not a mobile site and i could not get the truck at 8:00. I explained that the owner at that site was on vacation and would not be there at 10:00 to get me the truck. Then your person said you will need to change pick up sites. Sending me now to a site 30 minutes from my home which now added to my mileage on the truck. She told me to be there at 8:00 and the truck would be ready. Guess what we get there at 7:50 and see a man sitting inside so we try to go in. The door is locked. I tap on door and tell him im there to get truck and he hollers back... truck aint ready we open at 8:30. Once again u haul has no idea what they are doing. At 8:30 i go in to get the truck and he has to do all the paper work again! So i finally get to my house at 9:30 and at least my movers did what they were suppose to do and showed up at 8:30. I had to pay two movers an hour for doing nothing because U haul doesn't know their job very well! The drop off was excellant. You talk a good game but you have no idea what your doing!! Satisfied?? Not in the least!! And yes i will tell everyone i can!

Location did not open at 8 as advertised. Owner did not know how to use the U Haul system, so I had to wait until his employees came to work at 8:30. They did not offer to walk around truck, help load the appliance dolly I rented, or offer any other supplies. When returning truck to same location, they were rude and acted as if I was bothering them because they had to put down their cell phone and work. I will rent a U Haul truck again if needed, but will definitely not rent from this location again.

The process was nicely streamlined. I checked in, a person verified the mileage and condition of the truck, and we were on our way. Nice! Both employees were not wearing masks. Makes one a bit uncomfortable, but I did have a mask on.

I really like using uhaul but this past experience was horrible when I got my van it was dirty and the van was pretty banged up. When I got in it and started to drive the transmission had a slip in it. The furniture pads I ordered were not in there so I had to drive to Jackson to get them and it took me way out of my way.So over all this was a poor experience for me.

Overpaid per mile. I was supposed to pay .69/mile, instead was charged .99/mile. Staff wasn't friendly. Reduced hours, but wasn't notified until I picked up. Had to wait over an hour. Overall, not a good experience.

Jucky business without any clear parking, uhaul forced me to drop here adding extra miles to my trip that were unnecessary, and the big kick in the pants. Was stuck with some "cleaning fee" in order to milk me for more money. The truck was same condition as when i picked it up. So beware when renting you will be stuck with extra fees and uhaul will not investigate and will not return your messages, you will be screwed out of your money with no ability to refute charges.

When I reserved the truck, I was made to believe the truck was going to be at Northgate Storage location in Jackson, TN. only to find out it was not. Instead, i had to drive another 20 miles or so to another location. Then, the next horrible experience was the verification process which took another 35 minutes or so. Overall, it was a bad experience. Management at Northgate Storage, Jackson, TN tried to assist which we greatly appreciated but there was only so much he could do. RECOMMEND you improve your customer service process as well as your verification procedure.

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee.When i picked this truck up it had not been cleaned because it had just came in.I swept this truck out before returning.This is 2nd time this location has came up with bogus charges.i will never use this service again and will recommend people to steer clear of u haul and erics rentals

Be more knowledgeable about storage. We had a lot of questions that couldn't really be answered and as a result we weren't able to use our month of free storage. Cost us an extra $100. Great service though. Friendly and helpful.

I talked with Eric's and Nashville, with scheduling done through both places. The time was Saturday to Monday because they were closed on Sunday. I could have returned it Sunday. Nashville sent me texts with one price from Saturday to Monday, but Eric's changed it saying it had to be a 2 day rental, basically doubling the price. I was scheduling the day before, but made a change the day of the move. I needed to do the move so accepted his decision, even though I didn't understand the price change.

Did not receive a contract. Was 1 hour and thirty min late getting the truck back and was charged for another whole day. Was charged twice for a dolly tha I told the rep I did not need. Had a horrible experience. Will not go to that store ever again.

Find a new location. The guy was rude and hateful. He even told me he didn't care if I never rented anything or if no one ever rented from them. I have used uhaul multiple times but if this is the service I can expect then I will use a different rental company.

The pickup location was weird, but this is not my complaint. My complaint is that I got a “receipt “ from UHAUL that did not show the money received. Only zeroes. The whole point of a receipt is to show amounts of money and goods/services exchanged, right? I need a receipt to get reimbursement from my employer.
