Juan NautI returned the truck Saturday night, being that my phone was dead I could not close out the return. When I contacted the return location at 11:12am 7/24 today, the guy specified that he would do it for me. In return he closed out the transaction at 4:53pm and charged me $40 for an additional day, as well as $17 for a additional day of coverage. I called 8 times after receiving my email receipt and no one answered. I will be contacting them in the morning to request my refund total $60.55 that I was charged today.

nancy fernandezManager was extremely rude to me about parking my vehicle. Rather than explaining that nobody is allowed to park in the parking lot, the manager chose to berate me and threaten a fine. There are no postings in the lot that we can not park our vehicles. To make matters worse, I was forced to rent the truck another day and tame ubers due to a van backing me in. All I asked was for the van to be moved and I was met with harassment.

SAMUEL gonzalezReplace the girl working there. She was absolute incompetent. Didn’t speak and didn’t answer questions. They want to charge you to leave your car there even though you take a vehicle from the spot so it doesn’t take up any extra space. The vehicle was ok, except it seems like it had no shocks which made for a bone jarring experience. Also I didn’t bring my reading glasses so when I was asked to sign something about the safemove agreement I asked her if this is a waiver or to explain to me what it was she was asking me to sign. She just grunted and told me to sign. This was supposed to be a quick painless experience. I have rented from uhaul before but I was mistaken. Won’t go back here.
Evangelo BoutsolisI am owed money for a dolly and furniture pads that I requested, but were not provided. I called customer service immediately to report this and they said someone would call. No one did. Upon returning the van the final charge included the two items. I want my money back!

IVAN GONZALEZThe van had broken glass and blunt clips everywhere in the vehicle. The worker wouldn't clean it but said she won't charge me for it being dirty. Like I wanted to scratch up my belongings I was moving didn't matter. Then the weed clips everywhere. And to top it off when I returned it I put too much gas back in and could not be reimbursed because the gas needle took too long to register new gas flowing in. Lastly she asked me to move another vehicle in order to park the van I was returning. Just a total bad experience period

Angel AhorrioEverything about this process was a nightmare. The website had trouble loading. The lady working for empire inside didn’t have a clue how to help. The van smelled like an actual barn, as if the previous users were transporting livestock. The whole thing was filthy. There were beer bottles caps IN THE TRUCK. The hidden fees were downright predatory. I put gas in the truck and still got charged for four gallons?! What even is a ‘fuel service fee?!” This was horrible. All of it was horrible.

Benjamin LortonVan should be inspected after each use for cleanliness and sanitation especially during the current climate with Covid. The truck was filled with garbage on the floor and dashboard, smelled like weed and smoke, ashes from the smoke was all over dashboard and seats . Seats were dirty and had pet hair all over. I purchased Clorox wipes to wipe down the front dashboard and dispose of garbage left by previous renter. Besides it being disgustingly dirty, the process of retrieving and returning the vehicle was easy.

Brandon GonzalezI waited almost an hour to get my rental, numbers did not match on the app/truck. When we finally got the truck,it immediately smelled horrible of animal/cat urine, nauseous the entire time, both the driver and myself. Sick to our stomach. Then upon trying to return the truck and keys,more issues, stating that the truck had more mileage on it than before we drove it, it wouldn't let me return the keys. THEN I get charged for fuel,even though I returned it with MORE gas than it originally came with. Also, I was charged for "AFTER HOURS"? I RETURNED IT ON TIME,BUT IT WOULDN'T LET ME! I was so very disappointed and disgusted with this service.

anthony cartagenaClean the vehicle before giving it out again, the truck smelled like dog and the seats had crumbs on them. I had to put down towels on the seats to sit on and an air freshener in the vent to tolerate the smell . Secondly the key did not fit in the lock box and as I had to be at work before the office opened I could not return the key until later in the day. Also the parking lot should be cleaned. Placing blame on others does not justify running a sloppy business. The only pleasant thing about my experience was the lady behind the desk who helped me but who obviously was not doing any of the things that needed to be done

Edwin RijoThe App and U-Haul website is one of the worst I have ever used. My app kept on crashing when I tried to Drop off the van I rented and I was not able to do so in time as a result. The website would not send me the verification code to my email or my phone, not allowing me to login either. It was just a terrible experience!!!! Please do not make other customers go through the frustration and helplessness that I felt.

MABEL ROSARIOThe equipment was great and I was even able to pick it up early. The lady at the front desk was a pleasure to work with, quick and easy, in-and-out. I was a little upset that I received the truck with exactly a half tank of gas and returned it with more than a half tank, but was still charged two gallons after the fact. Also, I was very upset that I was unaware of a late fee, and brought the truck in at 6:20p (just 20 minutes after closing) and was charged $20 for it. Had I known there was a late fee, I would've gotten there before 6pm. That is extremely frustrating to me and I'd live very much if that can be refunded. I will only use the direct U-HAUL locations from now on because of this.

ANDY CHARLESThe reservation started so misleading from the beginning. No one was there until after 50 minutes from opening time. The van was buried in snow, and filthy. Customer service over the phone was very pleasant. Had to file a complaint thats pending, the overall process for pickup and drop off was horrible and no manager on site as they said would be. Dont waste your time.

Barry sooklalCan't always take good pictures of the vehicle due to space restrictions. I would have kept the van longer had I known the office was closed on Saturdays the man I spoke to said the location closed at 3. The checkout took much longer than I expected due to taking pics and getting an additional authorization that cut into my rental time. But overall the experience was good next time I would just use a location where I can checkout early in person.
