My drop off time was 4om. I got there about 3:55 and they were closed. I called the number on my contract and the MACHINE put me on indefinite hold. By now, I'm already frustrated after working all day to pick up my furniture in one town and unloading it in my house. I was tired and didn't need this problem. I didn't know what else to do but leave the trailer at the drop off location and go home. I figured someone would straighten it out. I paid over $100 dollars for a 1 day rental and didn't appreciate my drop off experience. I have a questionable opinion as to whether I use U-Haul again.claudia C.

While the employee that helped us was very helpful, this location was very confusing for our tow dolly drop off. We could not find the entry on 190 to enter the drop off location and there were no signs. We noticed that both sides of the road seemed to be part of this business (looks like they sell sheds) and finally after doing a couple of u-turns with our 32ft. motorhome we saw a Uhaul sign on the opposite side of the road so we went there. I was told that directly across 190 (north side) was the correct drop off but they would allow us to drop it off where we were. She said it was up a dirt road and hill so it would be more difficult for us. This was the only Uhaul drop off location I had a choice of when placing my order online. I suggest calling ahead to discuss the location if this is your only drop off choice. They really need more signs and I think these businesses should call to confirm the order when it is placed so that these situtations can be avoided.Dawn W.

Was an experience, app didn't work properly, takeover an hour to pick up van. Started ay 8:15 am and fi ally finished at 9:15, we're no dollies available at this location.Steven H.
I was scheduled to pick it up at 7:30 am but the place did not open until 9:00 am. Then once they opened I had to sit and wait for them to ask me all the same questions that I had filled out online and pre checked in. It put me horribly behind on my move. As well as only having a quarter of a tank of gas to start with. Very disappointed.David L.

The website is very inconsistent. I had to try multiple times to get my information entered. I had the same problem last time I used the online information system. I finally gave up trying to check in the trailer online. Apparently it worked, but I had no confirmation at the time. The colors were almost impossible to see for "selected" items.Jimmy C.

There was a lot of confusion about where the actual trailer was located. I was told to go to another location a mile or so down the road - only to find out the trailer was located on the very lot where it was reserved. The entire experience made no sense, when the trailer was in front of us the entire time and my reservation said so as well.Jay M.

Have a system to control off-hours drop offs. There was confusion on weather or not I had dropped off a unit, and I got temporarily charged for two extra days when I dropped off on the day agreed. (Late, but on the day agreed) I received phone calls and we rectified the situation afterwards, but still. Also, my phone service was not available at the location I was at, also send emails with alerts, as I was unaware of the situation till 2 days after due to lack of service but I did have internet.Lloyd H.

Trailer not at location given. They had to call 2 other locations they had. Once found, trailer it was dirty and wire for lights didn't work. My husband found the issue and wire was replaced. Guy hooked up chains backwards. Then we dropped it off a day early at the same location we picked it up and I get a phone call the next day asking me if I "planned on returning the trailer". I told him it was dropped off the day before in the same spot we picked it up. I will say they were short handed due to covid and they were nice people.Theresa M.

When I talked to UHaul regional when I made the reservation, I asked if I would be able to do an after-hours drop off by myself (a woman) and they said yes. I also asked the same at the UHaul rental location when I saw how difficult it was for the employee (a man) to lift and move the tow dolly to attach it, knowing I could not physically detach and move it, and two employees told me yes. When I got to the drop off location and started the return process on UHaul.com/share, it told me to detach the tow dolly. I completed the return and tried to detach it, but I could not, and I did not want to get penalized for not doing so, and I did not know what to do. I tried to call UHaul customer service but the wait time was 53 minutes. It was almost 10pm at night. I thought about just taking the truck and attached tow dolly home and bringing it back during business hours to let an employee do it, but I realized the tow dolly could be considered â€œstolenâ€ since I had already completed the return for that online. I ended up deciding to leave it there all attached and hope for no penalties. Also, the drop off location is VERY dark (with the exception of a porch light at the office) and there is no clear signage indicating where returning vehicles are to be parked. I had to make a â€œbest guessâ€ judgment and hope for the best. I did call when the business opened the next morning and explain the situation to the employee, and he was VERY helpful and understanding and did not penalize me, but it was a very frustrating drop off experience, and caused a lot of extra stress. I would definitely recommend a bit more lighting in the drop off areas, and certainly some signage that tells you where to park the truck.JENNY S.

This location remedied an online UHaul reservation. I made a reservation at the FM 1791 location. The reservation was accepted. That store did not have the equipment. So I had to locate the equipment and Economy & Co saved the day.Thomas F.

The employee at this location is uninformed about uhaul and how the rates are determined. When I reserved the trailer I was never informed that the rental would be $184. I expected it to be the same amount that I had rented the trailer a week and a half ago ($68). The employee did not ask for the location that I wanted to drop the trailer off at, he just picked a location. The trailer was dirty, full of screws, dirt, concrete/brick prices, plastic zip ties, broken plastic and dirt; I guess it was used previously to haul yard waste or remodeling waste.CODY ADDISON W.

I received a call asking where the trailer was 2 days before it was due to be returned on the 24th. I returned it in the 22 ND upon emptying, only to receive another call on the 23rd asking for the status of the trailer. A man unhooked it, and said I was good and I left. My email with reservation said return date the 24th. Very disappointed that I received a call on this at all. Will not use that place as a return if I need a haul again. You need to inspect your equipment better. My overall experience was completely horrible. I picked up a truck on 9/24, got it to my house only to find out it was blowing break fluid out all over my driveway. I had to have a tow truck come and tow it out. I was then sent to another location to get another truck of the same size and was told it was being sent out for service. I was then sent to a 3rd location and finally able to get what I should have already had at 8am. The entire time I'm doing this my movers were sitting at my house not able to do anything while I was getting charged for it. After all of this I had to pay them 2 hrs overtime and U-Haul still has yet to contact me on my complaint. Most likely will not ever use U-Haul again.Arlen P.
