The truck was dirty when I picked it up. The cargo part was not too bad but had several small pieces of trash. The cab was nasty! Spill drinks, sticky stuff around the cup holders and on the dash. Several blankets were just thrown in the cab. I had not ordered blankets. The oil needed to be changed, and it was two quarts low. I had to get roadside assistance to come check it. The tech was excellent.Melanie H.
Worst customer service. Incompetent and triple charged me. Gave me the incorrect miles and then tried to convince me it was my mistake. They returned my truck in the system when I still had it after using it only 30 so miles then charged me for over 300 something. I could hear the managers over the phone with the employee telling her that it was my mistake and it was something I had to have done. They said they didn't even show me as having the truck and they thought it was in the lot!!! Never will rent from them again. Penske it is!Ryan F.

I did not interact with the staff as I did an early drop off before they opened. The key lockbox has no lock and is easily opened. Anyone could have walked by, taken the keys I dropped off, and stolen the truck, utility dolly, or both. The only reason I dropped the truck off is because I had to catch a flight. If that had not been the case, I would never have left the truck there. Something needs to be done ASAP.Brian B.

The truck cab and air system was impregnated with cigar smoke smell. When we asked for a different truck, we were told there wasn't any other available. I had to drive the whole trip with windows down.Guenther C.
My cell phone would not show my location even after I changed the settings. Technical equipment is not always dependable. There needs to be an alternate way of communication on after hours drop offs. I took screen shots of my phone showing the error and called and waited on hold for 28 minutes to talk to a Uhaul representative to tell them what had happened and make a note on my account that the truck was returned and phone wouldn't send location to uhaul web site.LELA M.

The place was closed, so we just parked the truck and left keys in a drop box. It made me nervous not having a confirmation that the truck had been returned on time.Kade H.
made reservation for 8am with mobile pickup. When I arrived, the reservation was changed to hand delivery at 10am. I had to change my moving plans are reschedule my help. I arrived at 10am to find a notice on the door that they would be back at 11 and we should call if we needed assistance. We called, left a message and they never called back. The GM at 34th and Q helped us get into the truck. Because I picked up the truck 3.5 hours late, we were forced to move during the heat of the day, it was 110 degrees in Lubbock. That is extremely unhealthy but we had no choice. My experience with Easy Stop Storage was one of the most unprofessional of my life.Matthew R.
1. The back of the truck was burdened by MUD. I have never seen a U-Haul anything this dirty. 2. My reservation was for 11 am. I got there late, 11:15. There was no one there. They finally appeared at 11:30 am. 3. I returned the van at about 12:35 pm. There was no one there but there was a sign that they were closed until 2:30 pm. They wanted to rent, but no one was there. I dropped the Van's Key through a drop slot. I called and left message. There was a couple of young men that approached me when I was making sure the Van I had was cleared. Lost business during normal business hours. 4: Bright spot, about 4 pm, they were in the office, They had processed my timely return properly. The office clerk was very friendly. 5. I cannot recommend this location because it appears that the staff leaves the office unattended on a regular basis. They are below U-Haul's average. They are better than the Storage Monkey which is ran by apes, so I don't rate them a poor. Storage Money is poor.GREGORY D.

So when I set this reservation up. It was for Clovis to Lubbock but it was unavailable. So my wife and I had to drive to Lubbock pick up U-Haul and then drive back to Clovis to load. It was a waste of 5 hours of our moving time. I was told I could have the truck till November 3rd at no additional cost. yet you charge me another $161 on top of the $250 that we already paid. I put more fuel in than what was in it. It was less than 3/4 tank. I put it to 3/4 tank. The truck was never cleaned out there was trash and a pair of women underwear in the truck. On top of all that my reservation was still not complete. I had to go get the appliance dolly because there was not one at the place I picked up the truck. I wasted more time than moving. I expect to get my money back.Joseph B.

The truck I reserved was not available at the original location. Rather than contacting me and changing pickup location I was â€œupgradedâ€ to a 26 foot truck (paying for it) I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't just so happen to check my reservation. Then I also reserved 5 dozen moving blankets in advance and then payed in advance. Got to the location and they had no moving blankets. Once again no contact from Uhaul. Rep at storage place was nice and helpful about it though. Just wish uhaul could have gotten off their asses and called to change pickup location AND told me location wouldn't have moving blankets.Spencer W.

More obvious directions on how to drop off the van would've been very helpful. The hours are also not great for moving on the weekend so it makes it difficult to drop a truck off. They worked with me though and made it rightDaniel L.
Pls provide updates at least 2-3 days if equipments requested are available & provide possible location where equipments can be picked up if it is not available on the truck pick up location. We made a request for equipments but those weren't there on the day of pick up.Eric A.

My rental was setup to get at 10 am. The employees at this location didn't show up to open up or get me the truck until after 10:18. No apologies for being late, not even acknowledging it. It's absolutely unprofessional. The truck was fine but the experience was terrible.Carly B.
The guy Jake Ivan at the Plainview, Tx location was very terrible and a thief.. But the lady Gabby at the Lubbock, Tx location was very helpful and honest with me and really deserves a promotion she did not try to hide the fact that the guy in Plainview Texas wrong with me.Laday C.

The truck was very dirty unfortunately and this location did not have the furniture pads I placed on the reservation. I was called the day before my pick up instead of 2 days prior as I had been told previously. I spoke with Elaine the day before and she gave me a convoluted story about while the pads wouldn't be there and she wasn't sure that I would get the truck at the pick up location. I understand that she was stressed and may have just been expressing her frustration to me but this did not help my frustration. Also I spoke with a woman named Cammy in scheduling 1 week prior to my pick up date and she advised me to use a different company such as Budget Truck and Penske if I wanted "peace of mind" because she could not confirm my truck which I found to be quite unprofessional. I believe that she was also very stressed and decided to express her frustration to me. Overall the cost of the movers and the truck was reasonable and the moving help was excellent but the scheduling process seemed very hectic for the employees and myself.Christine I.

They need a U-Haul sign on the street---very hard top find their place of business., although they were very helpful when I called; shouldn't have needed to though if properly signed on the Englewood Street side. I was looking for "U-Haul", not "Easy Stop Storage." That is the only reason I didn't give the location as excellent rating..They too were very helpful once I arrived.Paul H.

The online reservation application has a glitch in functionality when a reservation is made for payment at time of pick-up. If the person paying for the rental is different than the person driving the rental, and any and all insurance is declined, the application flips the reservation/contract into the driver's name and defaults to the overpriced "SafeMove" insurance without any notice. The confirmation is emailed to the renter under the driver's name. The agent at the rental location can't find the reservation when the renter's name is given, because the driver's name has been substituted for the renter. And the box you thought you were initialing to waive the insurance, is actually agreeing to the insurance. Agents should go over ALL customary charges and potential charges. The website reservation/contract application issue needs to be addressed, so others aren't presented with the same issues, and U-Haul looking somewhat shady...Tommy B.

I was impressed that I was able to pick up the truck before business hours... until I actually picked up the truck. The truck was fine, but.... They charged me for a dolly but there was no dolly. The receipt even said there was one returned... but since there wasn't one in the truck when I picked it up then obviously there wasn't one returned. That seems shady to me. Next time I will wait until there is a person on site before I pick up the truck.Holly W.

Your self pick up is shit. It took 30+ minutes then over 40 to return then try to charge me 7307 and I will not pay that I used 41 miles so my total like 60$ and with this experience I want my money back and I will never go through this or maybe even y'all and I will be telling my family and my wife's family and our friends about this horrible experience and to not go through y'allLucas B.

The price is deceiving. It l showed at $19.95, my bill ended up being almost $62. I returned the truck on time and only added 16 miles to speedometer. I did add the insurance, because I was told regular imsurance would not cover it. That was not true, my insurance would have covered it. Do that was an additional $14.95 that wasn't necessary. I had a fuel charge of $7.00, what was that for? With that and the insurance the bill would only have been $42, what was the $20 additional for, besides taxes. I would hesitate to use this service again because the price advertised is no where near reality.Lisa M.

Girl that checked me in tried to tell me charges were $270 and I disagreed. She just said, well I push the buttons and that's what it tells me. After myself helping her on the computer for almost an hour we got the charges correct. Then she forgot to give us a dolly that we reserved and the location was closed. We were unable to load everything in the uhaul and the entire loading took hours longer as we were doing everything by hand without a dolly. I called Monday and spoke to the manager and he said he would make sure we weren't charged for the dolly and did not apologize once. I asked if we could use a truck to finish loading because we weren't able to finish and he said yes, it'll be another reservation cost. Disappointed in the lack of service and nothing being offered to help us since we were pretty much screwed on loading heavy things.Jenny M.
