After scheduling our online reservation for the truck, a dolly, two sets of wheels to move furniture and packages of furniture protectors, we arrived at the location and were told they don't have any supplies. I then called another location in Nashville and the call overflowed to a general number. I spoke to Annette, who ensured me the 2nd location (First Avenue) had the supplies and she took our visa info again. We drove to the First Avenue location and they had one dolly, no carts, no furniture protection pads. Unacceptable! Also, don't add more effort to take a survey. Upload a csv file with a unique ID to your survey software so you're not making a customer type their reservation number and then requiring them to go back to their email to select another survey link. Lots of effort put forth in the past 24 hours for Uhaul. Disappointing. Thank you for following up on the experience. Hoping you can make improvements to your (supplies)inventory tracker.Eric N.

When i picked up my truck i was told it was on empty but i would get a discount for this and to return it exactly how i drove it off. After having my property get wet because the box leaked in the rain im still being charged over $30 for gas. After departed emails explaining why it was returned that way. Overall, the experience was great. Easy and efficient. However there were no handtrucks or dollies available. We had to stop at home depot and rent some there. It would have been easier to just rent from UHaul.ERICK H.

Budget truck rental cancelled out truck reservation the day before our move to Denver Colorado. We walked into our local uhaul store and they took care of us right away with the truck we needed for our move! They where very nice and took care of us.BILLY R.

Please do the rental application/check during the reservation process. When we were trying to get the keys and go as to meet the timeframe set during the application. Much of that timeframe was wasted waiting for the check to be processed. This was an inconvenience, but nothing that would cause me to not use the service. The service was easy to use and effective, this change would simply (in my opinion) expedite the whole process.Colin W.

I was charged over double the amount I agreed to without any notice. Worst experience I've ever had with uhaul.SEAN C.
This location was 25 miles away from my home and 20 miles away from where I scheduled my pickup. I did not ask for my location to be changed and I did not receive a call or voicemail message from U-Haul the night before my pickup. When I contacted the helpdesk on the day of my pickup to have the location changed back, I spoke to several employees including one named Devin, who had an awful attitude. Devin changed my pickup location to even further away. This was a stressful process and I received little to no help from the U Haul helpdesk. I was also charged an extra $11.54 for driving 26 miles over my agreed upon mileage. I feel that this a very unfair charge and will be calling you to dispute this charge. There was no one outside when I pulled up. I went inside and they told me simply to drive around the back to drop off the trailer. But there was no possibility of doing that as it was blocked. A staff member who was outside then told me that - in spite of my contract - that location was not accepting additional trailers. He referred me to another location. Of course, when I got to that Location, the same thing happened again. Only at the third location was I able to drop off the trailer. That ordeal took 2 hours of my time.Roemer V.
Call when you are going to change a reservation on a customer because of your operational error and follow through with providing materials for the rental van or vice versa taking the material charges off the bill when they weren't provided.STEVEN S.

Your employee's should have knowledge of the equipment that's being rented and should be able to brief the customer on the use of/operate the equipment, at least just for safety. I rented a car hauler and since there were no safety chalks, I had to use my extra hitch bar to chalk the trailer in order to hook up. Your representative just kept having me move forward, which was useless.LIONEL D.
Wanted to pick up truck 3 miles from my home, but not allowed to do so. was told by operator it was only 3 miles further, which was incorrect.. Ended up being 4.6 miles one way, Had to drive thru town during rain storm, during rush hour, then got lost on the way to pick up. Saw parking area, but office was not marked well. ENDED UP COSTING A LOT MORE: extra miles, gas, plus lots of anxiety!!! Also, was told had to return to same office, not the closest. ??? Said would cost $224! What happened to ONE-Way rental? The truck itself was fine, and I must comment on the nice and helpful employees at Main Street, and especially Mike at Wedgewood location. Not at all happy with experience, starting with holding to speak to operator for over an hour! I should charge YOU by the hour for my inconvence!!! Have yet to see a credit for pre-paying for estimated mileage , or even an accounting of charges. Very poor business practice!joyce T.

Reserved a truck and trailer, received a call from U-Haul and was told that I had to go to two different locations to pitch up my truck and trailer. I arrived at first location to get truck and it was closed. Called U-Haul (we are sorry, but we have another dealer open) got another Cab (Uber) and arrived to get truck. It was clean and and ready to go. Arrived and next location to get trailer, hooked up and tested lights (no lights) hooked up 2nd trailer (no lights again) it was determined the the connector on the truck was defective. U-Haul again sent me to a different location 5.5 miles up the road to a U-Haul Center where the truck was swapped out and I was able to get on the road. This all took half a day. I feel U-Haul could have handle this situation much better and not used me like a ping pong ball. I am very disappointed in U-Hauls handling of this.WILLIAM M.

If you are doing the mobile app pick up out of hours, be prepared for extra time to go through all the process. You will need to provide the names and numbers of 2 contacts a that Uhaul will call to confirm, or a copy of your passport or lease/ mortgage agreement. Which naturally I didn't carry with me to a Uhaul parking lot for use when my contacts weren't available to pick up their phones. So just prep your contact people so they know to answer or bring along that paperwork. Steve, at the location, was super helpful when I'd gone in the previous day with a couple of questions.danielle F.
