For starters the in side of the cab could be cleaned better. And when you get quoted a set price, plus kms, gas, and coverage you should charge that person that price. I was quoted $40 plus taxes a day plus kms and my gas. Well I was charged $40 twice and random $7 charges. Also if someone calls 1 month in advance and asks to have a appliance trolly ready for the day of pick up, it should be there for the customer.Megan C.

Vehicle was not clean. Pick up and drop off using the app was pretty smooth. Didn't like the extra charges that weren't explained at the end.Chris F.

Both trucks I rented were driven the same distance. Both trucks were replaced with the same amount of gas. One I was charge the gas penalty. One I wasn't. So perhaps that could be looked at more carefully.Marie S.

When picking up the truck, we did not do a walk around the truck with the employee. (We did it on our own and filmed the outside of the truck.) When I pointed out several large scratches near the roof, he simply said "We won't charge you for those." That did not instill much confidence. We later noted on the paperwork that written in was "Roof repaired with aluminum tape. Customer aware that possessions may get wet." This was not pointed out or mentioned at the time of pick up. Pick up was fast but maybe a bit too fast. It was sign here, initial here, I'll go move the truck for you, here are the keys, bye.Kirk Keith S.

Be Warned. You are charged for Miles not KM as indicated on the contract. .89 / KM = $1.43 for each mile you travel. Very misleading on website and contract. Your rental of $29.00 will cost you over $300 when you drive 150 miles. BE WARNED. No happy!Tracy Ann P.

Beware of dropping off a truck at this location! I did so after hours when no one was present, having cleaned the truck thoroughly. The next thing I know, I get an emailed receipt for add-on charges, including for truck cleaning! When disputing this, the site person and the U-haul area rep the next day said that $50 charge was actually not for cleaning after all, but for parking incorrectly, although I had followed all their listed restrictions in doing so. In the end the site person said it was because the truck was parked the wrong direction, and he hung up on me, refusing to give the phone number of his U-haul supervisor. The U-haul customer service appears to be correcting this problem for me, although the dispute is still in process. I don't know how regularly this is done at this location, but I'm suspicious these folks are doing add-ons that they hope some won't notice, thinking the email will be missed.Ralph U S.

There are no signs where to leave the trailers when returned and was told to leave it in the back yard which I did and they charged me 15 dollars for leaving it in the wrong spot. Very poor customer service, was told it was their policy to charge if left in the wrong spot, tell them to PUT SOME SIGNS UP !!!!!!!!!Bill H.

Overall the locations were easily accessible, the uhaul itself was generally clean. However there were a few items left behind from the previous renter (receipts, napkin, etc). Also, I was disappointed that I had to spend atleast $175 on gas for a 450km trip...Ronald P.

Truck cab was very dirty. Service was very slow, it took almost one full to pick up our rental at 9am. There were 10 people in line and there was only one person was working at the location, the owner I think, which was surprising given that it was the last day of the month, April 30th in a university town with a lot of students moving in and out of appartements. The owner mentioned having to move approx 45 pieces of equipment, so he knew it was going to be a very busy day.Gilles Michel L.
I am very disappointed as I have been charged a $25 + tax cleaning fee as a result of â€œwet blanketsâ€. These became wet as a result of the rain over the weekend, something outside of my control. I'm assuming the blankets would be laundered after each use for hygiene reasons anyway, so why would I be charged to wash them on this occasion? Rain and therefore stuff getting wet is outside of my control, it would be the same as charging me for the truck getting wet in the rain?Robert M.

Manager was great. The lights on my trailer weren't working and he did some trouble shooting and suggested it might be some blown fuses on my SUV. I raced to a store and replaced the fuses and that solved the issue. Definitely recommend.Michael S.

I was grossly over charged based on am error on uhaul part to not correctly document the kms on the truck before my rental. I did get a refund but not to the full amount, they did not refund the taxes they took on top of the extreme over changeNathan C.

My reservation was for the 1073 Riverside Drive location. Upon arrival at my reservation time the place was closed. I couldn't get through to anyone at your call center. My daughter found the 96 Hodgson road location which I called. He had one unit that just came back which he rented me. This guy saved the day. If I need a rental again I would deal directly with the Hodgson road location.Edward S.
