Two employees in the small room did not wear masks and when I entered wearing a mask, they encouraged me not to. They also said I could drop my Uhaul off at any location in Asheville. When I did drop it off and called Uhaul to let them know, they told me that was incorrect and they charged me for an extra day. (even though I dropped it off on time and the woman on the phone, helping me with my return said it was not my fault)James H.

The truck was fine. The process is awful. It asks the renter to go through several steps - some involve taking and uploading pictures. If something goes wrong, it forgets everything and you have to start again. On pickup it happened twice - right at the end. On return it happened again. Each time with a different error reported. In the rain, both times. Took 23 minutes to pick-up and 20 to return. This was very frustrating and has left a bad taste.Gordon Y.

My 15 truck was not there and was never warned it would not be there. Customer service said it was in Washington DC. I needed a 15 truck and could move all my long items last night. They confirmed my truck at one location! The day of, I was advise the truck wasn't available! So they sent me to another location a couple mileages away! I received the truck with muddy floor boards! Once I returned the truck back and tired to report dirty trucks inside, they charged me a $25 cleaning fee!Morris B.

The person who checked me in seem to be having a rough day. She didn't want to give me a final receipt or inspect the truck while I was there. She also insisted I already had a receipt via e-mail. She did make me a copy of the paperwork I had in the truck although she said it was unnecessary. When I did get an e-mail receipt later in the day it was for $0.00. I'm glad I made sure to get a copy of the paperwork.Irving T.

My experience renting a truck from Dutchman Creek was excellent. The transaction process was very easy and fast.Martin K.
Check the truck over. The 12 volt receptacles were inoperative, and my phone died when I was taking the truck to the drop off location. I stopped and purchased a new phone cable, thinking that was the problem. No, it was the outlets. So I drove around for an hour trying to find the place, and when i finally did, it was closed. Other than the final frustration, it was a good experience.Mat H.

Your mobile app for early customer pickup being 3 month in usage needs to shake out the bugs, it does not work. I tried using it and check that location services were on and it replied that my reservation had expired. I was informed to call an 800 # on the app for help and after 25 minutes of waiting on hold my patience wore and I hung up. The rental location did not open till 10am on Saturday 4-13-19, I was trying to get the truck thru this mobile app at 7am for early customer pickup. Was planning on making two trips that day, but because of a three hour delay could only make one. Have to now rent another truck next week and finish our move. Guarantee it won't we won't be renting from Uhaul ever again!!! What a disappointing company with terrible customer service.BRIAN P.
