Best drop off experience yet. I didn't catch her name, but she was SO sweet and helpful. No one was there so we were taken care of immediately. Drop off was quick and seamless. Again, the KINDEST woman!!

William HThis location did NOT have truck share set up. I had to wait 2 hours for them to open. Once open, I tried for nearly 30 minutes to be helped and the manager was extremely rude saying he was aware of where the keys were. When I mentioned that the keys were normally in an outside lock box for truck share he gave me a very poor attitude and said he didn't want me to ever use this location again. His excuse for not being prepared was that he wasn't the one to close the night before. Either way his attitude that I was an inconvenience was appalling.
Robin MI was charged up front for 50 miles of travel.I drove less than 10 and have repeatedly requested a refund of 40 miles (at about $.70 per mile, that's almost $30).
Erika SMinor complaint: When I picked up the trailer, I told the guy I was going to drop the trailer at Hermosa, just north of Durango. He said fine, and that the contract said it was open where I could drop it off. Then, out of the blue, I received a message from Uhaul saying I needed to drop it at Durango Ski and Patio "per our conversation ", and that if I didn't drop it there, there would be extra charges. There was no "conversation", only a Uhaul email directing this drop off location. Uhaul made it sound like there was a high demand for trailers at Ski and Patio, so I was fine changing my plan and driving further and on slower streets. However, there were a bunch of idle trailers at Ski and Patio, so none of this really made much sense. Thought you should know about the inaccuracies and puzzling nature of messages I received from Uhaul.

brian cI was very unhappy that the person who handled the return of the truck we had rented expected me to just leave the vehicle and to get an email receipt after he had had a chance to actually look over the vehicle and check it in. I think this is completely inappropriate. Every other time I have rented a UHaul truck, the person handling the return did the inspection, mileage, and gas check while I was actually there and gave me a receipt. To expect me to just drop off a truck and eventually get an email receipt doesn't seem to me to be an acceptable policy. We eventually waited until he had time to process the return while we were actually there. A couple years ago, we returned a vehicle to a different location in Durango (the U-Haul location at 25823 Highway 160)) , and they were great and actually did the return processing while we were there. I would have returned to that location, but the agency in Utica, NY, where we picked up the truck, told us we had to return it to Durango Ski and Patio, which we did. If we have to do this again, I will ask for a return to that location.
DAVID TSam and crew were amazing. The real credit goes to Jade in the Colorado Springs Service center. This was a complicated rental with many trucks and it was handled perfectly!! Thank you for your commitment and dedication!

Douglas MI had to complain about how dirty the truck was and ask for a broom to sweep out back of 10' truck. And had no choice as I had confirmed pick up. Also I had to ask to have fluids and tire pressure checked. Once I got into truck it smelled of cigarettes and wheels were muddy.
Violet lThe couple problems with the truck were nothing major at all, stuff easily overlooked on a rainy day when you are just looking for damage and trying to get a quick inspection done before the next renter needs it and a leak that only showed up in a heavy monsoon not normal rain. can't fault the location for any of it. Great customer service, better than the 3 others in town I have dealt with absolutely next time I need a truck or trailer out of Durango I will use this location Sadly fell in love with the 2021 GMC 2500:10ft truck and was heartbroken I could only have it for a week.

Odelia NThe moving van was should never have left the lot. There were two bald tires the outside of the duallys that had to be replaced. There was a chip in the windshield might have been filled the windshield was streaking messy and there was a little Debbie snack donut thing behind the seat on the passenger side telling me this truck had not been cleaned.

JOHN LThis location, on 160 West, beside the quick lube business, was excellent. Very rapid paperwork process, truck clean and ready to go. Uhaul renters in Durango take note: the uhaul facility out toward Walmart and near the car dealership and camper sales facility, was so creepy and disgusting that my wife felt uncomfortable there with me. I'm sure that people are living in the adjacent storage units and the facility is is so old, rundown, nasty dirty and just plain weird, that it should be leveled and redeveloped. While the folks there are pleasant, I doubt they even notice the filth.

EDWARD GI got equipment to the agreed destination. I checked it in and paid another $189.00. They called me three days later to say I did not turn equipment in. Then I was sent another bill for $600.00. Very poor customer relations.
