Glenn CTwo empty pop cans rattling around behind the drivers seat, box hadn't been swept out, truck has a pull to the right when driving, windshield wipers were useless. Parking is very tight at this location. I had to move another rental vehicle just to get into the cab of the one i rented. Staff at store were fine. I was in and out fairly quickly.

Frederick RThey did not have moving blankets or anything beyond the vehicle. The vehicle displayed SERVICE STABILITRAK and I was told not to worry about it. OK for the price, but definitely nothing special.
JUAN CWhile the service wasn’t bad the entire time we were registering the gentleman was on his phone talking. Well the other guy was talking. I was sometimes distracted by what he wanted me to do to complete the rental agreement. I still like old fashion service that makes the customer feel like they matter.

Raza KThere was an AirTag hidden in the truck by the owner of the vehicle, which was not disclosed to me. This resulted in me needing to bring the truck to the police station which was a major inconvenience and caused me to be late with dropping off my truck, which resulted in extra amounts being withdrawn from my account.

COLIN RThis was a great & convenient location to rent from! Polite and friendly employees, plus fairly expedient service. However: The truck that I rented had NO heat at all!! Which means that it also had NO defrost!! Not only is this dangerous for driving but we had to leave the windows open a bit to prevent them from fogging up. This, of course, made the inside of the truck even colder, escalating the need for heat!! Not to mention the local outdoor temperature reaching only a high of 7°C (56°F) on the 1st day and a high of 2°C (36°F) on the 2nd day. The second issue we had was that the truck was not clean! The console where the cup holder and change tray are, had not been cleaned and the floor mats were covered with dried mud and the back of the truck had not been swept out! The next issue we had was the gaping hole in the truck above the "attic." We had some light showers and had to locate something to cover our boxes with. It was very fortunate that it didn't actually rain! Another problem was with the passenger door. It didn't close properly and had to be slammed to close it. Even then, it still rattled while driving. Overall; we are unsatisfied with the truck that we rented and expect some type of compensation for the inconvenience, additional work required, safety risk and added stress!! And before you tell me that we should have called and arranged a truck exchange; I will explain in advance that we were working under a time limit and that idea would not have been possible! Besides, the whole point here, is that the truck we rented should have been in tip top condition from the second the key was handed to me!!!

COLIN RWasn't told this was a 24 hr location with a lock box. The store was open, but the person just told me to use an app to check in. App didn't work. Took 1 full hour on the phone/multiple attempts at using app to check in. Vehicle didn't have appliance dolly. Another truck leaving the lot at the same time had the dolly and we luckily stopped them before they drove away

Shawn GChose option to rent a dolly. They had no dolly making my move much more difficult. I had to wait for a customer to leave the convenience store to get the truck out as the parking lot is extremely small. The truck sounded EXTREMELY rough when driving it and billowed white cloud from exhaust while driving

Paarth MUnfortunately there was a language barrier between myself and the person making the U haul arrangements. English was a second language for this individual. Therefore I was not clear on what was expected regarding pre inspection etc. The truck was not clean.

ALLEN BThe location is surrounded by road construction making it difficult to access. The staff person was carrying on a personal phone conversation while serving me. I had to tell him to chose me or the conversation but don't try to do both.
ROBERT MThe guard limited my ability to put items that were 13.5 feet long. Had. To rent another vehicle somewhere else to fit that. Guard also posed blind spots and made tbings unsafe. Should be removed. B
STEPHANIE CThe van I rented was very dirty inside and outside. The blankets were dirty too. I reserved a skid and when I got there they let me know that they don't have have and I would have to go to another location to pick it up. The place was hard to find because the roid is under construction. People in the store were nice and offered a good service in general.
William PTruck was dusty and dirty in the back. Also the driver side door had an air pocket at the top of the door and the wind sound once you got over a certain speed was very loud. The location parking lot was very tight and not well maintained.
MICHAEL MConflicted feelings because I spent a lot of time on the phone to change my drop of location back to this location, then waited over 24 hours for them to close the truck. There was a lot of confusion and unnecessary time spent on the phone. I had to call customer service to close things off and get my bill (that gentleman was super helpful) who was able to get everything sorted out. The truck itself was good.
AMANDALYNN SNo walk around pre pick up or after drop off Forged my signature on a document, would not recommend or entertain the idea of ever using u haul again.

Doug KTook almost 30 min to verify my info in the app so I wasn’t happy at all with U-Haul when you have a 2 hour rental and a quarter of it’s wasted on just waiting for approval from the app left me no time to do what I needed .Plus not to mention the vehicle I rented wasn’t what I got so that took another10 mins basically not a good experience.The gentleman at the store was awesome . .Your app and not having what I rented very very poor 0 stars

DAVIDANDREW HI ordered a pick up truck for 130pm. The person didn’t return the truck in time, so I had to rent a cube box. The first one I got in , there was an engine light in and something about the tires that needed looking after. I got in another cubs van, and there was lots of dried mud in it. So I had to take the cube van not the pick up truck that ordered. The speedometer is in mikes , not kilometres. Makes it very frustrating for Canadians!!!!!’i don’t think I’ll rent from uhaul again. Cost me $140.00 for 3 1/2 hours

Kerry MNot the fault of the store...the truck was muddy inside and should be cleaned at the maintenance shop prior to being put into service. The store staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I have rented from Dundas Variety before, and always a good experience.
GRAHAME LThe amount of offers for additional services that I had to say “No, thank you” to was a bit much. Less of those would have been awesome… I am sure there is a way to limit this to a “show a list of our/our partners additional offers and services” link.

LUCIAN COverall was great. I wasn't able to read the odometer properly as there was an indication over it say the left front tire was low. I had to scrape snow and ice of the front of the truck. I couldn't get the back sliding door open as it was frozen. After playing with it for a while I got it open. After that I filled the tire with air and the warning went away. It's sounds bad but the two gentlemen I spoke with tried to be helpful. It did the job.
