My pickup location was changed without my consent, and my pickup method was changed from in person to 24/7 app pickup without my consent or even any email or text letting me know. Then I showed up and was told I wasn’t allowed to grab a mattress bag I had already paid for. The pickup was also moved to a location that opens later so I had to wait an hour later than my actual pickup time to get the truck and they didn’t move back by drop off time or reduce the time I paid for. Awful experience overall.

I had issues checking in with the app, so I had to wait 30 minutes for the pick up location to open. Not a big deal, but would have been an issue had I been at a pick up spot that wasn't open on Sundays.

Truck was extremely old none of the lights on the dash or inside the car worked. No radio or Gas mileage odometer broke. Transmission bad caused gas to burn faster

If I could provide zero stars, I would. This is an authorized dealer and clearly they are guided by greed. After I spend over $200 for my U-Haul because the owner charge me a day extra. However the vehicle was scheduled to be returned at 4:30 in the morning and I returned it at 6:30a. Afterwards, I was in offer a month free storage because I spent over $200 with U-Haul. I notify the owner of the offer and I signed up for it. I was then charge for one month of storage ($78). I called the owner and told him of the situation and he told me that the offer does not apply to his location because he’s an authorized dealer. I showed him on the U-Haul website that his location was part of the offer. The owner, immediately rejected any compromises and said no refund will be issued because I already moved my things in the storage unit and that he could not make any adjustments to the contract. Finally, the owner also mentioned that if the payment was one day late, they immediately will auction your stuff off that is greed and shame on the owner. Pure evil and greed. Horrible place I would not recommend.

Mobile check in very difficult and took almost an hour to get all worked out and access to truck. Paid for an appliance dolly, was not in truck. Was told had to go back once store open to pick up. With the hour delay, travel and moving timeline, it was not feasible to drive all the way back and pick up. Very disappointed with this experience.

Provide staff with customer service training. Upon driving the 20' truck into the lot, I angled to the left to avoid hitting the attendant's personal truck parked on the right, but ended up scraping against the gate. While I was driving the truck into the lot, it was raining & the attendant was standing where I could not see him. I jumped out of the truck and apologized & briefly explained what happened. The attendant did not respond, fiddled with the gate & chain, then threw down his cigarette and went inside without speaking to me. He eventually came back & guided me in backing up the truck to the trailer (during which I again had to pivot the truck frequently to avoid hitting his personal truck). While hitching up the trailer, the attendant chose a passive-aggressive approach and said, "this time be careful," to which I responded, "I was careful." He immediately began arguing with me, insisted his truck was not in the way because he drives 26' trucks around this lot, & threatened me with a police report & insurance claim. I told him he needs to do whatever he needs to do, it was a genuine accident, no lasting damage seemed to be done as the gate was functioning, & I had only been driving the truck for 20 minutes. I will not be using this location again.

The staff member was late to open the spot, my rental was switched at the last minute and the vehicle I rented was dirty when brought out to me. The queen mattress bag I had purchased was not in stock and then there was no gas in the vehicle when we left. Overall horrible experience!

We were overcharged. Drop off was changed no one would take the trailer. Had to drive further for drop off. They sold me a drop hitch on my van which made the trailer hard to pull being only inches off the road with a nose drop. Horrible experience. App said $277 was charged over $400 for one day rental. I need compensated this was ridiculous.

The vehicle was given to me with an improper odometer reading by 27 miles. The salesperson said it could not be fixed in the system. I did not drive 27 total miles for my trip, so I was overcharged for this use. He refused to make this right. I will not return.

Picked up truck on 1/4 tank of gas so the 1st thing I had to do was go to gas station. I had so much to do, putting gas in a picked up uhal just added to it right off the bat, then it was also hard to figure how much gas was needed for our trips.

It took about a half hour to get my vehicle, eating in heavily to my reservation time. The place was understaffed for the demand of people there. I’d recommend to a friend they try another location in case it’s faster before I recommend they do what I did.

Dropping the trailer off on the road left me a little unsure about theft and being responsible for theft. Could not find directions for where to park it on the app or postings on fence. Had to call U-Haul customer service which was very helpful.

The only concern I have is that I did everything online in the reservation, then when I arrived at the location, he changed the price and added the insurance. I would have preferred if he actually used the reservation as is.

My apt was at 9a through the 24/7 service they didn’t open until 9:30 which was an inconvenience for me!!!The truck should have been ready for me to go with equipment inside. Obviously I received the equipment if I took a photo! I never said I did not receive the equipment. I said it was not inside the truck when it should have been. You should have looked into this mor before you responded to this email. You are just as unprofessional as the guy at the storage unit! You should have asked more questions if you did not understand instead of this dismissive and defensive response.I shared my experience and your response was this!!!!!! So pitiful!!!!! Won’t be back. And I’m posting this on your reviews.

One of the 4 rear tires was cut open - beyond flat. Truck still drove, but could have been very dangerous were the truck heavily loaded. Otherwise last minute good price on the equipment I needed.

There should not be a $99 deposit, the store employee told me the remainder of the deposit would be released back to my bank account 12 hours after the return of the truck, that was Friday, today is Sunday and my funds are still on hold. Unprofessional

The employee at this location was the only person working when i picked up my truck on the last Saturday of the month. He could not have been nicer or more efficient. That location on the near west side of Indy is fortunate to have such a great person representing them. I am sorry that i don't have his name but please let him know he is appreciated. The worst customer service. Did not explain anything about the charge and looked in rush. My gas mark line was almost in the moving out condition, but charged me extra $48.00 saying not enough gas. And not explain anything else.

Equipment was fine but when we picked up truck with our app at 8 AM the furniture pads that we pre-ordered were not in the truck. Had to return when office opened at 9:30 to get the pads and they were then delivered in a dirty and unfolded condition. Windshield of truck was also very dirty - rest of truck was fine.

I received the absolute worst treatment ever. It was a headache from start to finish. I was berated and lied to multiple times. I scheduled a one way uhaul service from Toledo to Indiana. Upon receiving the vehicle I noticed that it was riding very low, very rocky and was informed the tires needed more air. After that fiasco of an ordeal I proceeded to Indiana under the guide that its an "older vehicle and they typically ride that way". I received the vehicle the vehicle the 4th of April and needed to return the vehicle BY 4/6. I got movers so I returned the vehicle a day early on the evening of 4/5. I drove around the whole building searching for the drop box (there was no indication of one) I called the 1800 number and was on the phone with an agent for one hr and 23 minutes. He reached out to several people searching where to find this drop off location. Eventually we ended the call with the agent stating to leave the vehicle in a secure location (my house which is exactly 1 minute away) and call a local number for them to retrieve the vehicle. I then called that number and the agent told me that what was stated was ludicrous and that they did no such this. I then called the 1800 number again and was on the phone with an agent for 45 minutes. She said that I would just need to return the vehicle before 6pm because it is in the system as theft. Once I was half way to Indiana after traveling to Toledo I called the location I selected to drop the vehicle off to. I informed the agent of the situation and he asked what I wanted him to do. I told him that my GPS said that I would arrive at 6:06pm. He said will either you drop of the vehicle or don't I don't care. I asked if possible if he could stay the additional 6 minutes so that he could show me the Dropbox. He said call the 1800 because it doesn't concern him. It then turned into a shouting match. I have never felt so frustrated, irritated and under serviced in my entire life. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO EVEN MY WORST ENEMY.

Rep working in the front desk “male” has poor customer service. Stated store was close during business hours as we walked in and it was 2 hours before closing time that is actually listed on website. Then when we asked to switch truck he refused which resulted in us contacting customer service over the phone who also had an issue with rep just not cooperating and prolonging the process due to his own personal feelings. The truck was very shaky and needed service; it was very hard to accelerate and just drove poorly over all.
