I had reserved equipment that was not in the van so we did not use any, and the online system charged me for their rental anyway. And there was no one in the office so there was nothing we could do about it, I just had to pay for it. Really poor service and super disorganized location.Iain M.

Person was not there when I arrived at location and the store was supposed to be open still. As well as I had changed my time to pickup my truck and the guy still blamed it on me that he wasn't there. Was very hard to find. Hi, I am writing this mail to express my disappointment with uhaul service. My reference number is 27546100. I had booked a uhaul 10inch truck for August 28 at 5:00 pm. But I couldn't get it because the app kept trlling me that I had to wait till the store reopens on monday 8:00 a.m. I chose your 24 hour mobile pickup service but was not able to do so. I had to reschedule the pickup to a new spot at a later time which had a lot of negative impact on my moving schedule. I had to make a lot of calls and a lot of arrangements. I had to go through a lot of stress in the last minute. I did not expect this from uhaul. I had to pay for an extra hour because of this mishap. Moreover the truck rented to me had some problems. The left headlight was not working. The airbags had to be serviced. The oil was at 9%. All of this has left a very bad impression on uhaul. Hope you make things right. Regards, JewelJewel T.

My entire experience with UHaul was horrible. The truck I reserved for my move was not returned. I was given conflicting information from various people and eventually a new truck was found. There was a lack of guidance for completing the check-in and returning of the keys. I will never use UHaul again after this experience and this was my first time with UHaul.Shelly C.

Vehicle wasn't clean. Self check in app wouldn't pick up the location properly. I had to have the employee check me in. And they didn't do so for 24 hours after I'd dropped off my vehicle. So I was charged $150 for an extra days rental. I will never rent from there again.shaun G.
Clean and sanitize the cab of the truck. I shouldn't have had to do this myself. The location did not have what we ordered. For the extras, we were told to go to another location, to pick up moving blankets and the dolly. On my time and mileage tab. This is poor since the order had been placed over two months ago. When returning the truck couldn't find agent, we returned the truck early and the mall unit was empty. Hours on the website didn't match what was promised.Leslie G.
booked online and was processed by online registration. provided 2 references. took photo of licence. next came a confirmation screen, giving # of vehicle assigned to me and directed where to find keys. i got into the an and drove away. when i stopped a few hours later, I noticed a "cancellation" e mail and called the 1 800 #, explained what happened and was told if I got van #, all was ok. next day, i arrived to return the van. I called 1 800 # and the rep could not find my reservation, but was very.polite and helpful. As I was o the phone with her, I was approached while sitting in the vehicle and very rudely asked "what are you doing in the vehicle?" Shocked by the abrupt and accusatory tone of the question, I poliely and calmly explained that I was returning it and was on the line with uhaul about it. The man did not identify himself at first, but eventually said he was "in the office the whole time". I explained that I did not now where the office was because the day before I had been out in the parking lot to register and pick up the vehicle, and had no instructions about the return, so I returned to the lot and called uhaul. He said the I "should not have taken the van, since I did not get a confirmation notice". I explained that I did get a notice with the van number assigned to me and notification about where to find the keys. He read from his phone a message and told me that I was called the day before and that I told the uhaul representative that I was "not Ginelle Skerritt". i explained that no-one called me, but they did call my reference, K W at the number I provided for her and ask if she was me, and asked her to send a selfi photo. She called me on Sunday to ask what uhaul was calling her about and explained this to me. Since I had received the confirmation and was already driving the van, all seemed to be in order at that point, and I had no indication from my friend or uhaul that there was any issue. I received no call from uhaul. The gentleman treated me as though I had done something wrong. He all but accused me with words, but his body language and dismissiveness of my comments, including indicating that I should not have taken the van, was very unprofessional. He should have accepted my explanation while seated in the van, and politely offered to help resolve the issue, as it was clear that I was returning the vehicle and o the phone with uhaul trying to figure that out. He did not explain, apologize for the confusion, or offer any customer service. He asked me to come in the the uhaul and walked so far ahead of me that by the time I got through the doors of the mall, he was nowhere to be found. I had no idea where the uhaul office was located in the mall and it took me a few minutes to locate him. He asked if I had received a cancellation e mail and I said yes and explained that it prompted me to call uhaul on Sunday, and that I was told that all was ok, since I got the confirmation message directing me where to find the keys. He siad he would have to redo the contract because he cold not reach uhaul and could not rverse the cancellation himself. By thus time, and solely because of my patient way of responding to his impolite accusations, he was less accusatory. However, when I offered to show him the messages and my ohone records showing my outgoing calls to uhaul on Sunday, he was again dismissive, not interested in my explanation and simply told me to wait until he had finished with the new contract. No apology up to now,only acting as though it was my error. I paid the bill and I SAID thank you and left. zero customer service, zero appreciation and zero respect received from the representative.Ginelle S.
This was the WORST experience I have ever had!! Customer service was terrible, after being on hold for half hour getting transferred another half hour, in a car in parking lot while movers waiting at house then in with for over hour, she basically accused us of fraud (cause issue with site! Then couldn't upload because no wifi in parking lot) they were supposed to call someone in .. never came!? Movers sat there waiting entire two hours had booked! Rental was for noon didn't get until after 5!! Movers wired for 3 hrs!! Then had to pay for more time (was sitting in parking lot on hold or â€œcustomer serviceâ€ entire time! stress cause MS flare had to move some ourselves have MS, husband put back out (why had movers he has had spinal surgery) overcharged on miles/gas and never gave dolly I paid for!! Worst experience ever! Terrible website, kept freezing, issues uploading documents Have to rent again to finish move guaranteed will NOT Be using U-Haul!Zander T.

Son filled up the truck when completed, however he did not realize that the truck was only half full . Would suggest that all vehicle be picked up full and returned full. Otherwise, it is too difficult to replace the amount of gas that it came with. And at the cost of fuel right now, this should be happening.Lori M.
Make sure the trailer is fit for the road and is checked over before it is rented. It had no brake fluid in the surge break compartment. So my truck had to do all the breaking without any help from the trailer.Chris C.
Hello. The experience was just ok. The individual was friendly however there were some concerns. For example I was charged for a furniture doily which I had not requested and which was hot in the truck or provided. I had difficultly getting phone inquiries answered at times as no one picked up the phone and when you tried to leave a message. the mailbox/message was full.AnneMarie I.
Maintenance. Found right front tire half bald due front end misalignment. Vehicle was not suitable for service. Forced to take it by schedule, no alternative vehicle. Had tire replaced in midnight roadside service. Unable to checkout after return either on phone or online. Repeatedly cutoff.gary D.

I arrived an hour early to pick my truck and Manny had it ready to go. Bringing the truck back and checking out was also very easy. Overall my moving day was a lot less stressful because of UHaul. I will definitely use UHaul again.David B.

Pick up was ok. Drop off process was long and confusing. I could Not figure out where to leave the keys after hours. There is no drop box. Even building security was unable to help me.Mark K.
Clearer signage from outdoors or at least in the app... Maybe even directions when you make the reservation. Pick up was at the 'Bayfield mall' when the mall was closed. I found the trucks parked in the back but didn't know what door or where to go.Jody D.

In the reservation instructions, or at some point during the booking process, please provide info about the location of the pickup/drop-off office in the mall. It says "unit 88" but units aren't marked on storefronts!Lisa A.

U Haul only sounds good as a marketing ploy however everytime it's a complete utter disgrace to get your truck or on time I had a 2 hour delay which ruined my entire move with 3 infants ... I hope UHaul goes underLUCAS Z.
