They will charge one price and release the funds back get you to do it and then charges you AGAIN for a different rate. I'm not sure why I was OVERCHARGED.johlinda W.
we got great customer service from the desk, however, they had no 10 ft. trucks avaliable to offer, so I went with the 15 ft. one. The truck itself was not in the best of shape. Both doors squeaked loud, the brakes felt like they needed fluid, ( lower to the floor when first starting out). there was a strange winding noise from somewhere, I couldnt pinpoint exactly where, and there was excessive play in the steering wheel, made it harder to drive straight. the cabin was clean. I would rent another from this location, however, this particular truck needs some work.Larry S.

Follow through on your booked reservations. We had reservation set for one location and they had none. We went to second location and no one was in the office. Finally someone showed up and helped us. But we ended up waiting over a hour for a truck, when I booked in advance! It delayed our move, so I wont reccomend your company to others!Allen R.

I reserved a 10' truck. I flew into Tampa and Ubered to the location. They had given my truck away and didn't have a truck for me. The only option they gave me was to Uber to a second location and they had a 26' truck I could rent. I am a 68 year old woman who had never driven a truck that big but I had no other choice. I had to drive that truck 11 hours to Knoxville. It was horrible. The truck was dirty with no washer fluid and the truck was on empty. I had to fill it up immediately and when I dropped it off with a quarter of a tank of gas they charged me $43.00 extra fuel fee. I am appalled at U-Haul and would never do business with them again. I'm considering whether or not to sue them. Warningâ€¦beware!Debra M.

The rep Robert was too busy focused on his phone. He failed to greet me he didn't ask for information for my reservation initially I had to say do you need my name? He told me someone didn't return the truck I reserved so I had to go somewhere else. As I'm leaving he runs out and says he forgot there was another one that I could use. We went back in purchased it. He handed me the keys and said it's outside. He didn't walk out to the truck once I said I came back in because I couldn't find it he still didn't move he just said it's right outside and proceeded back to his phone literally dismissing me as if I'm a bother. I didn't get the dolly I reserved so this made my moving process with large furniture extremely hard. We asked about s refund the next day and he acted as if he couldn't do it. The service was absolutely horrible!Antinette E.

I called the 1800# to extend my truck and they gave me mis information verses what I reserved with the nice lady in office. I finally got thru to her and verified my truck is extended but your 1800# should have same info and they do not.Jamie V.

The customer service was terrible. The young woman was NOT customer friendly. When I picked up the truck, I asked how to tell which one. She said the # was on the front and back of the truck. I looked and looked and went back in to ask her to show me. She did NOT want to get up and come outside to show me. She finally did (slowly) and pointed out it was at the top of the truck. When I brought back the truck, she make a big deal about my having to back the truck into a space. When I told her I could not back up the truck and that there were not any spaces to park, she was very rude and insisted she wasn't going to back it up and move it. Another customer suggested opening the gate so I could turn it around and that he would move his personal car out of a space. She displayed a lot of negative attitude about this but finally opened the gate. I asked my husband to take the key in as I was very frustrated by her lack of customer service and professionalism. When I got the final bill, she charged me an additional 6 gallons of gas ($26 more). I would NOT recommend this location at all.Sandra R.

Website and voicemail state the site is open on Sundays 9am-3pm. Voicemail full and not accepting messages. No one was available on site and I had to wait 35 minutes on hold to get help from UHaul CS to do a mobile after hours ( it was 10am) drop off.TERESA T.

Uhaul is shady as hell. Low initial price but lots of High add ons. Radio doesn't work. 350 miles without a radio gave me lots of time to fume about Uhaul. Cab not cleaned out well. Paperwork from the last four renters still in the cab. Gas tank level not correct at pickup. (7/8 on paper vs 5/8 actual) Returned with Full tank, but not credited correctly. I was first sent to 5600 N 56th after selecting I can choose my drop off. (20 min drive) I pulled up and they turned me away as they had no room. After waiting on hold for a Florida uhaul rep they started looking for places. They offered one way across town, but I denied doing so without compensation since I already could not return it where uhaul stated. She found a location with drop off services and stated if they were full to call her back. Luckily there was one spot one and it was dropped after hours there.Cheyenne K.

I was charged about $50 extra. I've called to get refunded/ask about the extra charge and was told a ticket was created and someone would call me within 48hrs. 4 days went by, I called and was told the same thing again. Another 3 days went by and I was told I would be refunded the overpay within 3-5 business days. That was 7 business days ago. I'm very annoyed....Ryan W.
Please set your employees up for success the gentleman behind the counter was very kind but I was frustrated with U-Haul online systems at last minute uhual changed my pickup location 3 times. The 3rd location discount mini storage closed at 5:30 pm and lived 40 mins away on a Friday in Tampa that would be impossible to get to out of work the original location I selected two weeks prior was 4 mins away. I called uhual to confirm I could do an after hour pickup it was scheduled for 7pm I arrived at 6:45 . From 6:45-7:15 I kept refreshing the website only to find out it was scheduled for hand delivery only ...yet they location closed at 7pm I tried to call uhual again but each time wait times were 30 mins. I left drove back 40mins to my home and came back the next morning. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and customer service oriented but uhual did nothing to make his job easier Or my experience better would rate customer service for U-Haul 0 out of 10. Would rate your employee's customer service 10/10. Please look into your computer systems be identify the gaps.Cheyanne C.

I checked out the uhaul after hours. My main problem with this Uhaul was the app. I picked up the Uhaul after hours and spent over on hour at Uhaul trying to upload pics. As I was pressing the foward button I noticed I needed to take a pic of the odometer, then I pressed the back button & the app froze up. I needed to retake the vehicle damage pics. After being at the store for over an hour I gave up as the clock was ticking on my rnetal & I needed to get home. I called uhaul, was on hold a long time. Then when I got on the phone with the rep the app unfroze. So I got off the phone with the rep and it immediatly froze up again... I spent over 2 hours dealing with the checkin before giving up on it all together so I could actually start packing the truck. Then when I was checking the truck in I was already stressed out b/c it wasn't super easy to find how to check it back in. It would have been easier if it was a direct link. I tried and tried to take pics and it kept freeing up again. I was SO stressed with the app knowing the clock kept ticking and it was taking forever to check in. Moving is already stressful and dealing with the app trippled my stress level. If I ever rent with Uhaul again I will make sure to get there during normal business hours so I do not have to worry with the app.Miles M.
