Quick and easy return

PHILIP TThe online sign-up process seemed to go fine until I went in to the location to pick up. The person at the desk said I didn't have a reservation and didn't care that I showed them my online receipt and online check in documents that I had submitted. They kept telling me that if I hadn't talked to a live person, I did not have a reservation. But oh by the way, "I can rent you one if you want". He said that I was late and I said how can I be late if I didn't have a reservation? He was purposefully being unprofessional. Then the truck had a check engine light on and they said to call it in.

MICHAEL FSteering issue with the truck. Also was asked to drop it off early over night so they could clean the truck for the next customer and was charged an overnight fee. Will never drop it off early again if I'm going to be charged for it

Kyle TAs good as the representatives are/were (and they were great! Very friendly, and helpful!), the online experience through the U-Haul app is particularly poor, and really frustrating. It took me probably 40 minutes to get the whole reservation made. And even then, it didn't show up in my account (which I had logged into p0rior to starting the reservation). This has been the case for years with your app. As easy as the rest of the process is, your app should match that ease. Time to spend some time and money and upgrade it to match or exceed the user experience when renting in person.

tom dUhaul folks we're extremely pleasant and informative. Very helpful and easy to check in and return equipment. And I has mistakenly left my purse in the truck when I returned and everything was safely taken care of when I retrieved it the next morning. Would totally come back to rent here.

Karen PI'm a handyman in Broomfield a specializes in furniture assembly and moving services, after we had our first baby I had to sell my own truck. Whenever I am in need Dillon road is my go-to Chris and I have a wonderful work relationship and is my go to guy whenever I need a rental.

Box 21502 Phoenix, AZ 85036 Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Unjust Arrest and Lack of Communication Dear U-Haul Corporate Office, I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a deeply distressing and entirely unjustifiable incident that occurred during my recent rental experience with U-Haul, specifically through Dillon Road Storage, LLC, located at 10051 Dillon Road, Louisville, CO, 80027. On the January 24th, my friend and roommate, and I entered into a rental agreement with Dillon Road Storage, LLC, for a 24-hour rental of a U-Haul truck. The rental was initially paid for with a card in my roommate's name, and a charge was made. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we realized that the moving job would take longer than 24 hours, prompting us to call Dillon Road Storage to extend the rental. My roomate also updated the card on file to ensure timely payment of any charges. Despite our efforts to communicate our need for an extension, no response or attempt at contact was made by Dillon Road Storage. Subsequently, my roomate called and left a voicemail, clearly expressing our need for additional time. Regrettably, our calls were never returned, leaving us in a state of uncertainty and unawareness of how to proceed. The situation took a turn for the worse on the morning of Monday, January 29, 2024, when a police officer arrived at our residence. To our shock, I was handcuffed and placed under arrest, accused of attempting to steal the U-Haul truck. I repeatedly attempted to explain the misunderstanding, detailing our efforts to extend the rental and the associated charges on my roomates bank account. Nevertheless, I found myself booked into the Boulder County jail and was told by an officer that I was facing a Class 4 Felony charge. After several harrowing hours in custody, I was released with minimal information, except for a court appearance scheduled for February 8. To add to the distress, there has been no attempt at communi cation from Dillon Road Storage, and we are left with no guidance on how to retrieve our belongings still inside the rented U-Haul truck. This entire experience has been emotionally traumatic and damaging. I am a law-abiding citizen who has never been in trouble with the law. I strongly believe that I did not deserve to be handcuffed, arrested, and subjected to this undue distress. I am seeking immediate resolution to this matter and request the following: • *Clear communication from Dillon Road Storage on how to retrieve our belongings from the U-Haul truck. • *Assistance in addressing an unjust Class 4 Felony charge • *An investigation into the lack of responsiveness and communication from Dillon Road Storage during the critical rental extension period. • *An assurance that corrective measures are taken to prevent such distressing incidents for other U-Haul customers in the future. I trust that U-Haul will address this matter urgently and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. I look forward to a prompt resolution and your cooperation in ensuring that no other customer faces such unwarranted hardship.
