The office area was not well identified. The staff was not professional Or welcoming. It was like I was an imposition upon their time.

I picked up my truck, went to move my personal vehicle hoped in the truck and drove to do my work, later I noticed that I was sent a text wanting me to tale photos of any damage- well I had already left the lot. I was told to have the truck back by 3pm, before 1pm I show up to drop off the truck but location was closed for doctors appointment, so dropped keys off into box, went for lunch in the same plaza- I get a text telling me to return the truck for 1p and add the mileage- well the keys were already in the lock box

Called and reserved a 26 ft truck from Ajax location. When I got there, they said they don't have anything reserved for me in Ajax. They said my reservation have been moved to Whitby and it's a 15 ft. That's a different city and different truck. I ended up going to whitby to pick up the 15 ft truck. My reservation was for 2 but the office was closed at 2 and no one said anything about the hours of operation. I have no internet plan on my phone, so I had to find wifi and do the online pick. Very poor service and I'm very disappointed specially that nothing was done about it.

Drop of key location was not easy to find. Had to ask a nearby restaurant where it was located and go in the back of the poorly lit plaza to drop it. Did not feel safe or easy to find.

The trailer running lights did not work which posed a significant risk during our travels. This is the second year in a row we have rented this unit for this trip, both years the running lights on the trailer did not work. Next year we will be looking elsewhere.

I haven't rented an u-haul for many years. Previous times were fraught with mechanical problems. This time the van was in perfect condition and was easy to drive. The engine had lots of energy whether empty or full. I really liked the rear view camera for backing up and it was very easy to park against the curb. The lady who checked us out on Saturday was very helpful even though the on line was down. Good job. I will certainly rent again.

Unfortunately the key got locked in the truck. When I went to the office the lady while sympathetic said that she couldn't help. She called the owner and he said it was my responsibility to call a towing service and have them open the truck. It is unbelievable that a company the size of UHAUL wouldn't have a spare key for their local vehicles or a master key.

The truck had marijuana all over the dash, the truck cab was not clean and the windshield was filthy. That is before the super stiff brakes that after loosening off a little squealed constantly when braking. The truck shutters violently when driving and did not have a pleasant odor. The destination where the office is located is also unacceptable. The building smells and is dirty, the elevator the same and was told it breaks down often which scared my wife. The computer system seemed to be having issues and it cost us time. I have also noticed after the past two moves that uhaul itself is very unorganized. We have called and made reservations that are constantly changed or imputed wrong and then it becomes a very long process to figure it out. On both occasions over the past two weeks I ordered one size truck from one location with guarantee only to receive a call stating that you only have a smaller truck available or at a different location. I have been given different prices for the same service and i am very disappointed in the way your system works.

A. No one in the office, had to call for service B. Fuel in vehicle did not match with the agreement. Told CSR and she said would adjust. C. Invoice was incorrect. Was charged for fuel. D. Credit could not be done over the phone. Was missing in the system. E. Had to go into the office the next day with credit card. Complete inconvenience. F. Had no issues with the multiple other locations i have rented from in Durham.

Everything about this location was perfect and had a very nice staff. On the other hand. I do NOT recommend the after hours pick up at all. I originally booked my truck for August 31st. We were on the phone for 4 hours. Being transferred from one person to another. We had our 3 kids in the car waiting with us. We drove back and forth from the location to our house in Oshawa twice because they said they “fixed” the issue. Though, they did not. We spent another hour on the phone, being on hold for 45 minutes AGAIN. Just to finally re book our truck for open office hours because it was just ridiculous. Then, after going inside to get the truck we find out it’s because they don’t take visa debit over there site. Yet, NO ONE could tell us this over the phone. They kept blaming our bank, and saying it’s our problem. When it was theirs!!! All in all. It was a giant stressful shit show. The location and people were helpful and polite. But their 24 hour pick up is complete bullshit and I will NEVER use them again.

The location was in a building that smelled of mold, then the van itself smelled like livestock. Had the windows down during the rain, then got charged $92 for four hours of driving it. Whole experience was literally smelly and overpriced.

There was a few grocery bins and garbage in the back of the van. We had to remove the bins and leave them at the storage unit where we loaded the van. The garbage (paper and empty water bottle) were in the van when we picked up-they were left in the van when we dropped off. I got what I ordered, simple and easy pick up/drop off. Very easy to fill the van with gas with the guide on my contract. Thx

Location is hidden and difficult to be accessible, 2nd floor a very small room with one customer at the time for booking. Short bussines schedule of this location, Friday's closes at 4pm!

UHaul agent was friendly, professional, helpful and fast! She explained everything clearly, got me on my way in no time, and was efficient and very personable! This agent made my move that much easier and more pleasant. This location was convenient, allowed safe parking of my own vehicle while I was renting, and truly made my move experience fast, easy and convenient. Much appreciated!
