The truck had marijuana all over the dash, the truck cab was not clean and the windshield was filthy. That is before the super stiff brakes that after loosening off a little squealed constantly when braking. The truck shutters violently when driving and did not have a pleasant odor. The destination where the office is located is also unacceptable. The building smells and is dirty, the elevator the same and was told it breaks down often which scared my wife. The computer system seemed to be having issues and it cost us time. I have also noticed after the past two moves that uhaul itself is very unorganized. We have called and made reservations that are constantly changed or imputed wrong and then it becomes a very long process to figure it out. On both occasions over the past two weeks I ordered one size truck from one location with guarantee only to receive a call stating that you only have a smaller truck available or at a different location. I have been given different prices for the same service and i am very disappointed in the way your system works.

Never dealt with someone so pleasant at a U Haul location, very much appreciate how smoothly the entire process was, will definitely return in the future.

A. No one in the office, had to call for service B. Fuel in vehicle did not match with the agreement. Told CSR and she said would adjust. C. Invoice was incorrect. Was charged for fuel. D. Credit could not be done over the phone. Was missing in the system. E. Had to go into the office the next day with credit card. Complete inconvenience. F. Had no issues with the multiple other locations i have rented from in Durham.

Everything about this location was perfect and had a very nice staff. On the other hand. I do NOT recommend the after hours pick up at all. I originally booked my truck for August 31st. We were on the phone for 4 hours. Being transferred from one person to another. We had our 3 kids in the car waiting with us. We drove back and forth from the location to our house in Oshawa twice because they said they “fixed” the issue. Though, they did not. We spent another hour on the phone, being on hold for 45 minutes AGAIN. Just to finally re book our truck for open office hours because it was just ridiculous. Then, after going inside to get the truck we find out it’s because they don’t take visa debit over there site. Yet, NO ONE could tell us this over the phone. They kept blaming our bank, and saying it’s our problem. When it was theirs!!! All in all. It was a giant stressful shit show. The location and people were helpful and polite. But their 24 hour pick up is complete bullshit and I will NEVER use them again.

The location was in a building that smelled of mold, then the van itself smelled like livestock. Had the windows down during the rain, then got charged $92 for four hours of driving it. Whole experience was literally smelly and overpriced.

There was a few grocery bins and garbage in the back of the van. We had to remove the bins and leave them at the storage unit where we loaded the van. The garbage (paper and empty water bottle) were in the van when we picked up-they were left in the van when we dropped off. I got what I ordered, simple and easy pick up/drop off. Very easy to fill the van with gas with the guide on my contract. Thx

Location is hidden and difficult to be accessible, 2nd floor a very small room with one customer at the time for booking. Short bussines schedule of this location, Friday's closes at 4pm!

UHaul agent was friendly, professional, helpful and fast! She explained everything clearly, got me on my way in no time, and was efficient and very personable! This agent made my move that much easier and more pleasant. This location was convenient, allowed safe parking of my own vehicle while I was renting, and truly made my move experience fast, easy and convenient. Much appreciated!

The trailer worked great same as other times I've rented BUT the process to complete the rental I had booked on line was painful....very painful. And the lady kept just kept saying "I just work here...this is Uhaul's new system"!! Started when she wanted to use my cell phone to take picture of my driver's license. Explained I didn't have my cell with me. She wasn't a happy camper that she had to enter the data. Next she wanted an emergency contact and phone number. I gave her my wife's name and our home phone number...not good enough, that's the number on the contract!!! Has to be a different number. I explained that my wife doesn't have a cell so house number was the number to reach her. Not good enough to the point if I didn't provide a different number she wasn't going to rent me the trailer??? So I made up a number...how stupid. Then she asked for a second contact and another number....are you kidding me?? I appreciate the offer of contacting someone if I have trouble but this is totally over the top. So after trying to discuss I again made up another number....how dumb is this??? Needless to say I wasn't impressed and if this is your new protocol necessary to rent through your system will be looking for alternatives. Have never had issues like this when doing business with Uhaul numerous times in the past. IF it's just this agent I certainly will be dealing with a different agent in the future. Won't express my thoughts on the hours of operation. What does everyone else think of 9am - 2pm on weekdays? No guidance on drop off other than 'just drop key in drop box'. After doing so, read a sign that advises that I sign in to app and complete before dropping key in drop box. Can cite 4-5 issues, but you get the idea. BTW...a couple were at this location to pick up a truck at 6pm that they had reserved, and showed me the confirmation that it was ready to go. BUT, with nobody at this location (closed) to provide keys, they did what...? On a Friday night!? I was super peaved for them. This whole experience was a freakin' gong show.

I need to be contacted immediately. I have been duped at the U-Haul rental 965 Dundas St. We Whitby, Ontario. I was charged for 198.5 km when in fact I drove 59km in total.

Keep the trucks maintained

I made an online order, but when I arrived, the truck was not there. It seems that the truck assigned to me was still being held by a bit of a problem client. They brought the truck back late and dirty. I booked a truck for two days later. It was a long weekend you see, so I had some flexibility. When I was rebooked the system however put my reservation to another location, even though I was still booked at the original location. When I did sign out the vehicle, the pre-check in was seemingly lost. The location operator did what she could, but I offer this feedback as I think the online system is not really working out from the customer perspective.

I was under the impression that I could pick up the truck when the location opened at 11am. Instead I had to pick the truck up at a further location 2 and a half hours after the desired time. It was not convenient in the least. I have to pay extra mileage now.
