Daren HThey were cold with me and I felt worried that they would try to be really nitpicking about the condition it is returned in. I'm not a fan of the fear tactics to get customers to buy the insurance. If UHaul wants people to get it so bad, then just make it required.

I had trouble getting the trailer to hitch on my suv after taking it off for the night. User error, as i expected, but the staff was super patient and helpful with getting it connected. Thank you!!!

After being inconvenienced after confirming that the equipment would be available I was sent up to this location on 6th Ave where the woman was rude and clearly upset she had to help me!! This was truly the worst experience in my days of doing business with uhaul the last two times I have utilized your services I have been upset I wish there was a better company to provide the service I will look for those outside companies moving forward

Typical white individual who thinks that she's high and mighty, and she's smarter then everyone and because she's been working for 16 yrs in a miserable agony she needs to RETIRE and and take some courses in Customer service relation. I would fire this employee in an instant she does not belong in this Franchise business...she's lazy, not even to perform a walk thru with the customer on the equipment or briefly ask questions if i need any assistance pertaining to the rental equipment etc.. Another issue is the billing, i've rented numerous times from other Uhaul company from various states, and this location of store stated that i have to pay upfront before i even check out the vehicle. Usually i pay after returning the equipment with no discrepancies, then i get charge but in this case here i was charge first hand before i checked out on the initial rental before i can get the keys to the equipment. She stated aggressively that Uhaul this store Ain't going to release the equipment without paying first because this equipment cost thousands of dollars is NOT going to happen..when i was explaining my point regarding this type of scenario to her that i've never encountered this type of experience with other Uhaul stores, she just brushed me off..I reserved this rental for 24 hrs but she demanded that i return back the equipment before 4 pm closing she's stupid and dumb if you ask me..overall experience in this store location I WOULDN'T RECOMMENT any customer to give there business to this location.

Melissa TPrior to renting a Uhaul at this particular location, I had read the many reviews of how unpleasant the owner (older lady) of this neighborhood Uhaul was to deal with. I often do not take all the reviews to heart because I find that people complain about anything and everything nowadays. I will have to agree that this lady if very unpleasant. She was on the phone when I arrived, so she greeted me by holding up her pointer finger to indicate that I shouldn't talk. I could see that she was on the phone as all I was doing was entering the building. She was speaking aggressively to the customer on the phone, indicating that she was going to register the Uhaul as stolen if they did not come back with a different credit card. Clearly there was something going on. She never said hello after she got off the phone, she just asked what I needed. Her agitated tone never changed despite it being a new customer. Every interaction after that was aggressive, sneery with endless eye rolling and head shaking even though nothing out of the ordinary happened with my reservation at pick up nor return. Her disposition did not improve by the afternoon. She just speaks with contempt and presents as if she hates people and the job. Overall, the location of this business was perfect for me. It was a fairly quick in and out. Just a FYI... I also spoke on the phone with a younger girl earlier in the week and she was super pleasant and helpful. The older lady, not so much.

Maro LAre you kidding! I Had a reservation to leave Dec ember 30th, the Auto transporter wasn’t available in Olympia where I had it scheduled. So U-Haul sent me to Tacoma, when I got there they said their auto transporter was broken, then they sent me to Spanaway and said it would be ready at 4 pm, when I got there they said “Oh, you are at the wrong location, you are supposed to be in Central Park down by Aberdeen” and they just closed at 4 pm. Then that evening a U-haul representative called me and told me to pick up the transporter in Tacoma at 8:15 am. When I arrived there they said the transporter was broken. I then said please call Central Park U-haul and find out if their transporter is there and in working condition. At the same time they found a transporter that was just turned in at another location in Tacoma. When I got there the person working there did not know how to hook it up so I hooked the trailer onto my truck, but he did not know how to load my jeep onto the trailer. I took the transporter back to the other store and they helped me load my jeep, I needed a spotter to get my jeep into the right position I couldn’t have done that by myself. Then I was finally able to get on the road at 1200 on December 31, a day and a half late. Then while driving through Idaho in pitch black conditions, I heard a loud noise, and then a Highway Patrol turned his lights on me, so after pulling over I looked at the transporter to figure out what was going on when I noticed the left loading ramp was missing. The Highway patrol man told me my ramp came off the transporter I was traveling at 55 MPH and the ramp and narrowly missed his patrol car. We both walked back to the ramp that he estimated was 200 yards back. We both carried it back to the transporter where it was again secured to the trailer. He noticed the clamp that holds the ramp in place was broken. So I went up the road to a gas station and bought a bungee cord and secured the ramp to the trailer. U-haul is not doing their job checking their equipment for repairs. That ramp coming off could have killed someone. I was given a coupon for $200.00 off my bill, but I feel that all of my money should have been refunded, I am considering not renting anymore equipment from U-haul. Sincerely, David Garrison
david g25% Cleaning surcharge. There is no acknowledgment to clean to a certain standard or verification before or after… I returned the U-Haul in the exact condition in which I got it. I received a $25 cleaning charge for it to be mopped. If this is a mandatory charge applied to all rentals please convey before rental.

ADAM LThe rental truck had over 150,000 miles on it, and felt like it was going to explode any time I went over 40 MPH. But it got me to my destination and back without incident. Good customer service, fair pricing. No complaints.

She also tells you that they do not accept after hours drop offs giving you no option except to drop off at 7:00 in the morning if you pick up after 12:00. I would never use this location again. Maybe not even U-Haul period.

Victor RI had a good experience when I rented the van. The agent was friendly and courteous. When I returned the van I dealt with a different agent who I felt was rude and lacking in customer service skills. Overall the rental experience was okay but I will not use this location in the future.

Tommy ZI reserved a truck for 4 hours to be Ickes up at the available time of 1:00 PM. They then told me they close at 4:00 PM and after hour drop off was not available because they wanted to protect their trucks from theft and vandalism. So I could return it in 3 hours or return it the next morning, which was not a time that worked for me. Obviously trying to push the risk of any insurance claim risk onto their customers. They should not accept 4 hour rental terms they cannot accommodate. They were also quite curt and very welcoming or polite at pick up and drop off, 3 hours later.
John PCustomer service is absolutely horrible. The lady who both answered the phone and help me out, was extremely rude and had a stank attitude. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to go here…. Do better…
