Guy told us someone left the lights on to the uhaul before he gave it to us. Then jumped the uhaul and handed us the keys. I shouldn't have accepted the truck, but my dad just passed and we were trying to haul his stuff out of the area and I wasn't thinking clearly. The second we turned the uhaul off, it wouldn't restart and we had to jump it ourselves. He shouldn't have given us that truck to begin with.

NICHOLAS GSmall and sketchy pickup spot. I originally selected pick up at the pleasant hills location however the worker there was too lazy and decided to switch me to this one. Which I didn't know because I still showed up at pleasant hills after I asked him is there anything I should know and he said no. But I showed up at pleasant hills at 4pm because I did not know he changed my pickup location and he was still there when he told me he was going to be out at 3:30pm. I also do not appreciate uhaul charging me $30 more than than what I should have paid. I will never use uhaul again!
Adam HIt was great, the guy behind the counter was great, he even called us to let us know he was closing and the gate was being close where my sons car was, everything worked and it totally meet my needs, I am a first time customer of U-haul.
Craig SThe location was great. The truck was clean. It ran kinda rough but that's expected from a U-Haul. The virtual check in to pick up the truck was much more difficult than actually talking to the representative. I wouldn't recommend using the virtual check in. I waste 20 minutes of my 4 hours fighting with the website.
Candace BGreat location. But U-Haul is way too expensive . $165 for 24 hours. I'll be using Turo and renting a truck for $65 for now on. Will take as many trips as needed and don't get charged for mileages. But this location is great! The guys are very friendly. But I just do not agree with uhauls prices anymore.

Deno DReally felt SLAMMED by this place. I thought we put enough fuel back in the truck - they hit us for many many more gallons than they needed to. Then they SLAPPED me with a clean out the truck fee on a truck that was returned cleaner than when I found it. Finally they STOMPED ON ME with a "returned it after hours fee" when that Uhaul app would not let me download pictures (give that Uhaul app a zero star review - and don't get me wrong - I love Uhaul). I don't usually have these issues at other locations - I felt like I had been stopped by a cop - not the cool cop - the cop that was bullied as a kid and now everyone is their enemy. I felt like you do when you open one of those letters from a speed camera and you owe hundreds of dollars when you go like 4 miles per hour over the speed limit. PERSONALLY - I WOULD AVOID THIS LOCATION FOR DOP OFFS.
WILLIAM HWe ordered and paid for an appliance dolly. We were assured it was in the truck. The dolly in the truck, the welds that held it together had separated. I took pics. The renter said the tank was at 1/4. It was on empty. Again, I took a pic to prove said frustration. The truck had absolutely no power and the steering was so jacked that the CDL acquaintance that drove it for me said it was the worst vehicle he had EVER drove. The mirrors were bolted in place and could not be adjusted without the proper tools. When we drove it off the check engine light was OFF. Remember, I took a pic to have evidence the tank was on empty when renter said 1/4th tank. After we fueled the truck up the FIRST time, AGAIN another picture because the CHECK ENGINE light was on since the fill up. Now. I am a S.M.E. in the customer experience. My last job was being a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST IN A CALL CENTER FOR THE PAST HALF DECADE. Word of mouth is one thing but ME AND ALL MY ASSOCIATES ALL AGREED WE WOULD NEVER EVER never rent nor push any business your way again. A refund would be great. It was a real serious EPIC FAIL. QA/QC if you can't our WON'T get on this. Please get a hold of me get me a job so SOMEONE QUALIFIED CAN FIX YOUR CORPS BULLSH!T. Could you PLEASE please PLEASE make this right. ENDTRANS

Dennis SThe truck was backed in so we did not realize the back door was opened until someone told us while driving. The truck wasn't dirty but seemed like the transmission was slipping. Location is not an easily accessible location. You can only only turn into from the same side of the street. There is a barrier preventing you from coming from across the street. We initially passed it and had to travel further down each way to get back to it. They marked the gas tank at 7/16 which it was not quite at (it was slightly below the line) then marked it returned at 3/8 which it was above that line and charged for two gallons of gas. 9 miles and charged for two gallons of gas! That has to be the absolute worst mileage ever. 4.5 miles to a gallon. I expected to be charged for 1 full gallon but was extremely surprised and unhappy that I was charged for two! The guy said "they calculate it. I just put the numbers in" Well he clearly put the numbers in wrong to come with two gallons for nine miles. The truck was not left running at any point other than actual driving. We also returned in about an hour vs the 24 hour original rental due to unforeseen circumstances with the move. We let them know before we even picked it up and it was already rented again for after our return before we even left with the truck. The $20 rental jumped to $64 really fast

James OI understand these staff are not actual U-Haul employees, but they should not have any affiliation with U-Haul at all. They were incredibly rude from the second I pulled into the lot, and I mean that quite literally. I pulled in and a woman who was towing a car began screaming and gesturing at me to move out of the way (even though I had come through an entrance). I moved for her and watched her and she did not even need me to move in the first place; she was just being rude and difficult. Then, when I went to actually get my truck, I had a lot of difficulty finding the keys as the app was telling me to go inside to get them. I was unaware the mechanics held onto the keys so I did not understand it meant to go inside to their shop. I had a wonderful U-Haul rep help me over the phone to try to find the keys. She and I searched the lot for about 10-15 minutes. I got near the mechanic shop at one point during my search, which is when a mechanic came out, dangling the keys in front of me and said "Are you looking for these?" There had been two mechanics outside the entire time watching me and neither of them had said anything, even though I was trying the codes on the key lock boxes, among other things which clearly indicated I was searching for keys. I have never had any issues driving a U-Haul in the multiple times I've rented, but these interactions were so distressing to me that I did end up damaging the passenger side mirror because I was not fully paying attention and didn't see a branch/pole that was hanging out into the road. These mechanics were truly as unprofessional and mean as could be and I would never recommend this U-Haul location to anyone. This is especially upsetting because I love U-Haul and have always had really good experiences with the company until this point (although, again, these mechanics really aren't connected to U-Haul).. As a side note, one of the tires on the front passenger side was visibly a little low on air when I first picked up the truck.

ALFRED MAll interactions with the staff at Dependable Breaks and Auto were positive and very nice. The only challenge I had was with U-Haul's site and app.
Sarah MWe rented furniture pads. They were covered with dust or some substance that made it impossible to use them or even be in the truck without sneezing coughing developing a runny nose and choking to the point of gagging
NICHOLAS JEverything was great. My only suggestion would be to add signage upon the approach to the location; I drove past it before seeing the return area and had to turn the 26' truck around (which wasn't as enjoyable as it sounds...).
PAUL KTruck not available at the time we went to pick it up. We had to come back to get it after we were told it wasn't there so we had to call uhaul. This was inconvenient and set us back on our move.
MICHAEL AThe uhaul location wasn't the problem. It was the customer service reps on the phone that I have a problem with and I would like to speak with someone. The rep checked me in gave me the lock box code but kept calling me back saying the payment didn't go through but I had two pending charges on my credit card because she kept running my card. After keep calling and harassing me I got a text saying they would report the truck stolen. I am not satisfied with how we were treated.
denetta rThis location sold me a service that was way more expensive than it needed to be. When I spoke with customer service, Chris told me that the contract was closed and that they would not do anything to make up for the additional charges. I will be using another rental service next time.

CONRAD ELocation is difficult to access and exit. Very small parking area. Also, note that location was CLOSED on Wednesday!

Thomas DStop using this location , The cab was filthy under the drivers chair there was a baby’s bottle nipple and all I threw it away there’s many pieces of trash in the cab I threw them away behind the passenger seat there is underwear and I believe socks I did not throw them away I left them right there
Robert DThis was hardly a Uhaul Pickup location... it only had one truck, which, thankfully was for my rental. But, the location was not in a favorable direction and was in a difficult location to access. I drove past at least 3 other more reputable Uhaul locations to get to this one. Perhaps you are trying to engage with too many locations Additionally, it is not clear that many of your trucks are not for one way rentals Lastly, the web site and logistics system may be favorable to your personnel but lacks detail that is needed by your patrons. Simply saying we'll send you and email or a text the day before for where you can pick up a truck is not all that helpful when you a planning a move. A longer lead time is appropriate and staff that know exactly what is going on with your reservation would be helpful. You're cutting It too close With the time and logistics of your customer.
Eric VI dropped off after hours, so there was no one to provide my direction on where to park or what to do. The link you provided required what seemed to be a lengthy process with my cell phone and I was not about to take pics in the dark. So ... I found the best parking space I could and put the keys in the drop box. The self drop off option is really cumbersome in my opinion.
James BThe truck was not available on time. That created a big inconvenience for me. I would like to see a policy regarding latevehicles that would do justice to people waiting for their truck.
