Engine light was on, and when I told the owner, he said he would just cancel the contract and i could leave it. It was the only truck there, as i needed to move that morning, i kept it. The box and the cab had not been cleaned out. I had also rented 12 pads, but was given a bag of 6, unfolded. When i told him it was supposed to be 12, he went and got another bag of pads that were just thrown into a torn bag. What the h*** is a $5 charge for a trip without problems?????? That and the $1 environmental fee are a ripoff.
David FI reserved the truck weeks in advance and to pick it up at one location but a day before I take it, they sent me to a different location far from me where I had to pay a taxi to get there. The unit was clean but shaking like a leaf every time I brake.
JOHNNY SI reserved a trolley when booking and NO TROLLEY AVAILABLE ONCE THERE… very not acceptable. Overcharged of 4$ on my credit card also.

Frantzya AUnfortunately, the location is close to the Montreal garbage dump: it stinks big time! When I went to pick up the trailer, I almost vomited twice! It smelled like a dead animal. Dropping it off was ok -- the wind was blowing from the right direction.

Francois-Olivier LI was supposed to be charge 63$ and they bill me 91$. I called them 3 times today and they didn't answer. I'll have to go there again to ask for a refund of 28$.
Benoit LJ'ai fait affaire deux (2) fois avec cet endroit. Tout a bien été. Le camion était disponible et propre. Le propriétaire du dépanneur (Chinois) était accueillant et ses occupés de tout. Aucun problème pour le montant facturé. Vous pouvez faire confiance.

carlos aVoulez-vous vérifier le prix approximatif et le prix payé en finale? Il y a une différence et de plus j'ai mis trop d'essence et le niveau final était au 3/4 et non 5/8. Dans l'ensemble je suis satisfait de votre service. Merci Alain Van Der Loo

Edner BThe dealer where I picked up the trailer was completely disorganized! 25 minutes to pick up an item already reserved for 1 month in advance plus no printer so no hard copy no inspection done with rental on return same thing. Worst experience at U-Haul, hard to believe that U-Haul lets their banners run in a place like this!

sebastian eIl m'a fallu attendre 15 minutes avant d'avoir les clés et j'étais seul au dépanneur. La boîte était TRÈS SALE, le plancher était blanc, on aurait dit de la poudre de ciment.,avec comme comme conséquence que le matériel transporté était poussiéreux. Une fois rendu à destination à Rimouski, j'ai dû laver le plancher à 2 reprises. Au besoin, je peux vous faire parvenir des photos. J'aimerais être dédommager pour ce fâcheux inconvénient. Je veux qu'unE employé me contacte.
Martin ACaissier vraiment pas aimable a essayer de mescroquer en me chargent du gaz car il disais ke la tank a gaz étais as au 1/4 pourtemps elle étais une coche au dessus j'ai ramasser le camion j'ai fait même pas 2km la lumière du gauge a fuel a allumer le camion étais sensée être au 1/4 étais sa réserve le wiper passager étais scrape donc on ne pouvais pas se servire des wiper check engine allumer sur le camion le truck buckais énormément et rotais des missfire bruit métallique dans lessieux arrière qu'il soit vide ou charger c'étais agressent camion très sale aucunement nettoyer ma fait et pour finir le bonhomme qui me parlais juste anglais quand j'y est dit je ne suis pas billingue mais a servie 3autre client en français mais étais pas foutu de faire avec moi donc je ne recommence en aucun cas se dépôt de uhaul malheureusement la pire expérience depuis 5ans
Karl LIt was a pretty grody convenience store. I wasn't sure at all they had what I had reserved, and as it turned out, they didn't. They also miscounted the blankets I ordered to protect furniture. I wanted an appliance dolly and they had one that wasn't marked as available. So, I went without supplies I wanted and needed, had to go to a location way farther afield than I needed (and I pay for miles!) There is no reason whatsoever that I could not have the truck I wanted at the location I wanted. They had lots of trucks and I reserved a week in advance. As to the quality of the equipment.... wow, that truck has sure seen better days. It sounded and felt like a bucket of loose screws about to fall apart any second. I felt BARELY safe in it. In other words, VERY poorly maintained. The door locks neede lubrication. The convenience store didn't have any WD-40 (how convenient) and so, I was left on my own. I was expecting better from U Haul. This experience was an exception to the rule in my view, because in the past, the trucks at least felt roadworthy. This one felt like a real struggle. Shift selector, straining engine.... Ugh, The convenience store guy was friendly at least so I can't fault him for that. He was professional and courteous. What bothers me is that I was sent 10 miles out of my way to this location for a truck that SHOULD have been ready at the location I wanted, which has lots of trucks on its lot every day. I should also have had a truck that was in acceptable shape.

Sabatino Ruhaul needs to pass more often at their location to make sure all vehicles are clean. For now since a rent with you guy's the clients cleans every time or almost every time they use your vehicles.

Aymen BVraiment, cet endroit joue d'indécence à un point que je ne croyais pas possible. Déjà, le véhicule empeste la cigarette et est visiblement mal entretenu. Ensuite, les employés tentent par tous les moyens de gratter des sous, et pas rien qu'un peu. La valve pour le gaz étant manuelle, la dame prend des photos des angles qui l'arrangent, m'a forcé à payer 25 $ alors que j'avais rempli exactement au même endroit où je l'avais pris. Manque complet de respect, on n'y parle pas français et pratiquement pas anglais, compréhension impossible. Mais le pire, c'est évidemment la malhonnêteté. Très très déçu, évitez si vous le pouvez, et si vous n'avez d'autres choix que de faire affaire avec cet endroit, prenez tous les moyens pour prévenir ces stratagèmes (entendez-vous au préalable sur le niveau de gaz auquel ramené le véhicule). Franchement dégoûté, mais bon, j'en retiendrai une leçon un peu moche !

YOUNES ALe 15 mai j'avais fait un réservation pour la remorque à utiliser le fin de semaine (du 21 au 22 mai), je trouve irrespectueux d' arriver et non trouver la remorque réservée, vous m'avez fait perdre mon temps, mon essence et ma programmation. Cela montre que vous êtes pas sérieux, nous ne pouvons pas nous fier à vous.

Kalela MI asked for a furniture dolly and blankets ... they didn't have any. The lady was speaking only English. She didn't really know what to do. The truck was really dirty inside. The place itself his a mess ... some sort of a convenient store in the middle of nowhere. I refuse the insurance because I have an insurance that covers the rental ... she didn't ask for any proof. A really bad experience.
Vincent CJ ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec le (sous traitant) un dépanneur qui a refusé de prendre mon numéro de confirmation et qui a créer une nouvelle réservation qui a tout chambouler. Il m'appelle 2 fois par jour et m envois des textos (ou est le camion ???) Expérience horrible deja que le déménagement est stressant mais je me suis ramasser à faire des appels à U hall chaque jour pour expliquer la situation . J ai loué le diable et il n'étais même pas dans le d'épandeur m a demandé de faire moi meme le tour des U hall pour me procurer un.
Samira MThe truck I originally rented was not available. So I had to pay more for the bigger truck. I was not happy about that. I was told it was not working. The back of the truck was dirty and not cleaned I had to clean it. I would recommend this place only because it's the closest one.
Angelo PQuand je suis venu récupérer le camion le miroir côté passager été brisé. Le tout avait été reporté dans le rapport d'inspection initial. Mais lorsque he suis allé le rendre chez l'autre détaillant il semblait pas savoir et il voulait me charger pour le miroir 312$. J'ai refusé..et après il a dit c'est correct. Faut faire attention !

EMILIO CMake sure there are instructions or qualified personnel on site to help with attaching the trailer. I wasn't sure how to operate the ajustable attachment and the lady in the store didn't know either.
Sylvain T1- make sure the vehicle is clean, no garbage left over from previous client rental, no left over packages in the cargo area that I needed to shuffle around in order to get my cargo in 2- fuel level was well below the minimum indicated on the instructions, in fact, it was indicating Empty when I retrieved the truck 3- engine light went on during my trip, and vehicle had difficulty maintaining steady highway speed 4- this was actually a last minute back up plan since the location where we reserved a cargo van, then took the time to call U-Haul and speak to customer service to verify that I would be able to pick it up at 6 AM, ended up being closed and I was unable to retrieve the vehicle at the agreed-upon time . Luckily, I was redirected to this location that was relatively close by, however they did not have a cargo van, and it took nearly an hour to transfer my reservation and re-enter all of my personal info into the system, so I arrived almost an hour late to pick up my cargo from the glass manufacturer where everyone was standing around and waiting for me . I intend to follow up with U-Haul to ensure that we are not charged any additional costs associated with this unfortunate turn of events, we did everything we needed to do to reserve the proper vehicle, and even spent half an hour to get on the phone with someone and verbally confirm everything. We should not be charged anything extra because someone forgot to set us up in their system correctly, and we were not able to get the vehicle we had reserved.
Martin SLe camion n'était pas nettoyé à l'intérieur lors de la prise, j'ai dû le nettoyer moi-même. Les clients achetant de la bière sont traités en priorité et le propriétaire ne parle pas français.
