Lots of equipment and easy to get tin and out.

Rebekah HGenerally the vehicle was very well kept! The cab of the truck was very clean. However there was quite a bit of dirt and dead leaves in the back of the truck when we opened it up. It wasn't anything a broom didn't fix very quickly, but it was a surprise that wasn't anticipated. Also this is not the fault of the D&P Auto Solutions location, but I had reserved a dolly and moving blankets as well when I originally booked my truck, and these were not in the truck when I picked it up. The night before I was to pick up my truck at a completely different location, I was called by uhaul (after business hours) and informed that there was not a 15' truck within a 100 mile radius of my original location, so I had to drive over 2 hours in order to pick up the truck the next morning. As a result, D&P Auto Solutions had no way of knowing that I was supposed to have a dolly or moving blankets because the location was closed when uhaul changed my reservation and also when I went to pick it up.
Alex TI showed up and couldn't find anyone to help. Finally, I interrupted some guys working under a car who were clearly annoyed at being interrupted. Then they said it was a mobile thing and to contact u-haul to get a code for a lock box. They were not helpful at all. All the equipment was in overgrown grass. There wasn't any area to even sit outdoors, let alone indoors while trying to get in touch with u-haul, which took 45 minutes after multiple attempts. This wasn't my original location or truck I reserved and wish I hadn't been moved to this location. This made it a hassle. I'd never rent from this location again.
nathan nThree of the four trucks I looked into the open back of were nasty, only one was clean. The truck I checked out was absolutely utterly filthy; the cab of the truck was not well-maintained, either. I have before and after pics of the back of the truck and, I daresay, I left it in far better shape than I checked it out. Costs on the truck, which are not the responsibility of D&P sure went up precipitously!!! From $29.99/day, for ONE DAY, to over $300 total!!! That's a TEN-FOLD difference, and unacceptable. Figure out how to lower your prices. I will only rent from U-Haul if it is on an emergency basis and I can afford nothing else. U-Haul has rapidly become the wet wall alley of most cities, full of trash, poorly maintained, and not welcoming, at all. When my Wife and I moved to Texas in 2018, just six-and-a-half years ago, your equipment and processes were in far better condition than they are, now. Even when I moved my Mom to live with us in December '22, I felt as though the truck I had rented was only due to the care of the location. This time, I was thoroughly disgusted. Despite the horrific conditions, I was able to get my task done and leave a clean truck, with more gas than I checked it out with, and I would have hoped that would have cut something from the disgustingly high bill I have now paid.

Michael WMy end odometer reading was put in wrong and I received a bill for $3,000+. I went by and took a picture of the odometer and it was cleared up by noon the next day.
Laura MI had to hook up the trailer myself because the guy there couldn't lift anything because of a recent stroke and I had just had bypass surgery. I called another uhaul place to reserve a trailer and they said uhaul would be in touch. I received a text later directing me to the app to reserve trailer and did so. Then later in the day another uhaul rep called saying they had my trailer ready. So I had to call customer service because it had been double booked. First guy I called was very unclear about directions on how I got and reserved my trailer. Otherwise, where I ended up picking up trailer the check out process was good with no problems other than getting it hooked up.
Lanny WThe people were nice but the system setup needs to be changed. I requested a trailer 2 weeks ahead to pick up in Minot nd and they made me drive an hr to pick it up. This not good service by U-Haul. That is plenty of time for you to get it in town. I recommend you fix the issues with picking up uhauls by getting them to the requested area and not make the user drive more then 15 or twenty minutes. I will not use U-Haul anymore if they continue this poor planning. This is about the company policy not the place.
Clayton RDropping off the trailer was a breeze. I would totally recommend this location in Huntington.

LaVita VU-Haul is the best. Needed a truck in a hurry and they came through. The price is great also.
