This location is a ramshackle auto shop with a disorganized office. The clerk had trouble booting up his computer, possibly because of the 15 or 20 windows open in his browser. Clerk was cordial enough, got the trailer hooked up promptly. The primary problem was the non-central location. It took an extra 2 hours to pick up and drop off this in-town rental. Huge time expenditure during a very busy time of my business year.

The gentleman was very nice and accommodating. My problem was the rental itself. We drove it in the rain and when we arrived at our destination and unloaded the items several items in the front were soaked from rain. This was obviously an older trailer, but it should be checked and repaired because it is not functioning.

Make sure to say whether or not you want the insurance add-on (I wasnt asked and it was on my bill). Ask them to take it off before you sign off on the contract.

So I was supposed to pick the truck up at 8:15 am and since it was outside the normal business hours, I was supposed to us the UHaul app. When I got there at 8 and started to use the app it wouldn't let me continue saying that a piece of equipment was not ready. Then it gave me a number to call for 24 hour help (253-208-9409), but no one ever answered the phone. Not for any of the multiple tries. I ended up having to wait for the attendant to show up at 8:30 in order to get the one piece of equipment that wasn't ready. And the equipment that wasn't ready were the KEYS.

Make sure staff know what they are doing and rushing so they can go home at the stroke of time to go home now! On 2nd round with uhaul for refund of some money because they over charged my credit card. They refunded $8 closed the claim without a word to me. They owe me quite a bit more. And the customer service person is completely unprofessional. Assumed without asking me anything, shot me an email with her take on the problem and never contacted me again. Her name is Ashley. Never will use uhaul again. And my name is Susan Hem. I rented and paid for it on my credit card and my boyfriend Dan picked it up.

The place could use a little tidying and organization, but the staff was friendly and courteous, my truck was ready and waiting for me, check-in and check-out were super quick and easy, so I have no complaints!

I had to pickup the rental early because he was closing early. I rented a 19.95 truck and dolly so I could move heavy furniture with my son, not having to hire other people to help. I wasn't informed however the truck didn't have a ramp. I went back early the next morning to exchange the truck but owner posted notes the was closed until July 3rd. I had a huge dilemma. Moving furniture from a 10x20 storage would have been no problem with a ramp truck. I had to hire people on their schedule to help lift things into the truck at their schedule. I also had to find a truck with a ramp to use to move my piano. My piano is an upright on wheels, so i could have mo ed it with s ramp. I return the truck on the 2nd of July, when he called me but he was not there. This morning, he sent a receipt for extra charges. I have spoke with him about this but his resolution was uhaul charging me 6 more days. realize that this is uhaul's policy but I did go back on the 27th at 9am to try and exchange the truck but he was closed. I had a deadline for moving at my storage that was rented already. I had to complete my move. Could you please consider dropping the charges to this rental as I did try to exchange the truck, had no use for a dolly because the truck didn't have a ramp. I was prepared for extra mileage. I even let him know probably 40 . This move should have only cost $140. Instead it has cost me almost $500. I have used this location before and like him. I would recommend him. This was an unfortunate occurance because he was on vacation. I do believe he would have resolved it if in town. Please let me know if there is anything that can reduce the promissay note. I honestly just moved and can not afford it.

This is not a full official U-Haul office like I've rented from before, rather it is a small local business. The service is so friendly, simple, and fast. If you're in the area, I highly recommend renting from here!

When I picked up the truck they didn't do a walk through which concerned me at first however i was in a hurry and in the end there was no need to spend he extra time. Everything went well. I cannot rate the customer service high enough. The gentleman who helped me was great!!!

The gentleman running the location on 9857 17th Ave SW was prompt, very kind and helpful, service with a smile, and was not a sociopathic liar like the manager at the OTHER UHaul on 35th and SW Morgan (which is run by Alexandria Ramos, who is utterly HORRIBLE). I endorse the 9857 17th Ave SW location for people who, like me, don't appreciate being abused by corporate drones, but do appreciate good, sincere service.

I found that I was charged $14.00 for "SafeMove" which I believe is some sort of insurance. I was not asked whether I wanted insurance before being asked to sign the rental agreement. Your representatives should have explained what this charge was for and asked if I wanted to pay for it.

we scheduled a 7:00 pick up we were there at 7;00 this location does not open until 8:30........brakes are going out on this truck very dangerous .............the AC quite working the first day @ 3;00 temperatures ranged from 104 to 109 degrees I had to make 2 extra motel stops do to heat exhaustion................power steering needs repair I had to carry and add fluid this experience was horrid and you need to make an adjustment and pay my extra motel costs

My helpers returned the truck for me so I don't know anything about the location. They were there after hours so it was just the 24 hour drop-off.
