Maureen TThe facility was ok for storing my stuff BUT it wasn't sealed properly and my stuff was covered in dirt/dust, and feathers from when they were cleaning the area. They did address it when I brought it to their attention. Also, when I went to clear my storage until all my couches, chairs, ottoman and an expensive area rug were covered in mouse poop. They will all have to be discarded.
LISA B | Overall ExperienceMake clearer directions for drop off. There was no designated location to drop off because the gate was closed. And the drop off direction said to not block any entrances or exits, but the only place to park was in front of the gate.
Ivy CThe only issue I had with the transaction was the collision coverage cost. When I secured the van through the app, the price was $12, however at checkout today it was $16 and I was told the price was raised this week, even though my quote and securing of the van was $12. Van was clean, folks at the location were super nice and friendly and the van was in perfect condition.

Maggie C | Overall ExperienceThe truck we rented at the location failed to provide me with the vehicle because the renter didn't return the truck as he/she was supposed. I had to wait for nearly a hour to go to a different location. Although it wasn't the Uhaul's fault, and tried the best, it take the store 30 minutes to get hold of someone in central office. They need to have the internal phone number that can be reached quickly. I was pressed with time!
Masako DTrailer was not able to connect to my light connection due to the connector on the trailer harness being 2 feet short. Had to find an auto parts store for an extension cable before I could tow it away.

Edjon KI recommend this place with only one note of caution. It is unheated cold storage. The units got pretty damp and if you have lots of cardboard boxes they may not hold up well. Other than this one thing, the place was fine.

Peter AAn additional key drop off box on the other side of the toll bar, maybe next to the door to the office. If you miss it driving in, there is no sign after the toll bar to tell you where it is. If not a second key drop off box, at least a sign with it's location.

Marc WI reserved moving blankets and 2 dollies which were not there in bethel. Had to drive to danbury to pick up and return. I'm sure I'll have to pay for extra gas and mileage. Stephen FIt would be helpful if uhaul would send the instructions for a contactless return in advance of the return. It's very frustrating to get to the point when you're about to drop your key off in the Dropbox only to find that you need to go back to the vehicle and take several photos. Why can't this info be provided in advance?

Joseph M | Overall ExperienceAlbeit I was there on a Sunday, but there was no one there. I dropped off using the mobile site. The location looks old and dated, which wasn't helped by the fact that it's almost impossible to visit due to construction on Newtown Road. Although above I said "clean and inviting" was "not applicable" - to be honest, all I saw was the parking lot. The parking lot was okay. The rest of it looked old with the exception of the office building. Although run by a non-branded U-Haul dealer, the buildings looked exactly like U-Haul storage facilities.
Christopher DYour app and remote pickup procedure is awful. App didnt work and it took me an hour to pick up. Also didn't work at drop off. Luckily, you had a nice person to deal with at both ends that helped me out. I won't use u again unless there is a human there for pick up and return.
