This locations is awful! The guys working at the mart are very rude, we received a terrible customer service!! We paid for furniture pads and they said they didn't have any there and when we asked for a refund they completely ignore us. Really really bad experience at this location! If i knew i would have easily gone to the warden location, so please to avoid other customers horrible experience just remove this location! Daisy mart CAN'T do this job!!!

The vehicle was not very clean. The rear right tire was low and the warning light was on. The people at the pick up location were aware of this but failed to tell me so. When l returned the vehicle, the person at the location was verbally abusive, unprofessional and abrasive. I called him out on his behaviour and he became even more abusive and he yelled at me to 'get out of his store'. When l attempted to leave, he briefly locked the doors electronically, as a show of force, before unlocking the doors. I demand a written apology from this service provider for his shoddy service. I am a paying customer and should be treated as such.

The cab of the van we rented was filthy. There was mud everywhere as well as garbage in the cup holders, empty coffee cups in the door and multiple water bottles under the seats. I will not be using this location again.

Staff had no idea how to check me in and told me the owner wouldn't be in for a couple of hours. I had an elevator booked. Then they kept me waiting while the owner processed my check in. It took too long.

This is a daisy mart so equipment maintenance is not their responsibility. The van I rented has 21k on it and the ABS warning light is on. Uhaul had a very bad reputation in the past for having wrecks on the road. Let's not see this happen again. Get the vehicle to one of you major centres and get it fixed.

The person in charge did not have any equipment to clean the vehicle;it is winter and it was snowing. The vehicle was covered in snow and he offered no assistance even when asked. He was multitasking upon my initial arrival so I had to wait. Upon returning the vehicle early and returning the key, I was informed that his wife left with his phone which he needed to confirm I returned so I would have to wait 15 minutes. He then signed the paper stating the date and time I returned the vehicle upon my request so I could leave. I left my cell at home and upon arriving home I saw numerous, repeated missed calls, along with multiple voicemails telling me I did not give him the key and threatening that I would be charged for it because it means I still have possession of the vehicle. I did however return the key to his hand and parked the vehicle which he looked out and saw. He then called me again accusing me of keeping the key and telling me I was wrong and I never gave it to him. I was very appalled and felt very disrespected. I never received an email receipt as he promised I would and called an hour later to enquire. I asked him he found the key and he then hurriedly stated he found it where he had misplaced it. There was no apology and I still have not received a receipt in my email. The service was horrendous and insulting.

For a customer who's booked a vehicle at 09:00 am, to head down and see the vehicle is covered with snow, and no snow brush and ice scraper either is quite a horrible experience. Considering that the booking was done for a purpose, the time wasted in just Beijing it to the notice of the owner that the van is covered with snow and to have him waste more time in getting it cleaned, didn't help the cause.

Daisy Mart staff is extremely rude (except for the young boy). Their only concern is attending customers for Daisy Mart- If you are a U-haul customer they expect you to have and known everything- and provide no help- they even made snark comments towards me for not knowing. I called about 5 times to this location for help and got the phone hung up on me with the words shouted "IM BUSY NOW OKAY BUDDY". When returning the vehicle a lady who claimed to be the "owner" approached me and gave me the nastiest most condescending attitude for no reason whatsoever. After arguing with her inside the store- she later than switched to speaking Hindi with her employee and speaking nasty words about me that I will not write here (I speak Hindi myself). As a first time customer who spent a large amount of money on renting a van from U-Haul I can say my experience at this location would be rated a 1/10. Aware that U-Haul is not represented by the employees of Daisy Mart- I definitely would never use U-Haul ever again- but speaking over the phone to real U-Haul employees was a great pleasure, and I always received amazing customer support, which is why I would continue using U-Haul but through a new location- never will I step foot again to get a van from Daisy Mart- even if it was free.

When I returned the vehicle, the employee who was doing the check in had not been completely trained (this is a Daisy Mart) and said that the machine was broken. I waited ten minutes while he fiddled with it. Finally an experience employee came in and showed the original person what he was doing wrong. I do not foresee a problem with that employee again.

Van was good, no complaints, but we did get charged $15.00 coverage fee without being asked when we picked up van, when we returned it the person was very busy behind the counter with other customers and charged & billed us for this, we were not asked beforehand at all - not happy about this as this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks we have rented from UHaul, probably will go with another company next time as I emailed UHaul about this and no one ever got back to me, not very good customer service.

The person who was working at this location was incompetent and wasn't telling us what was happening. When asked what was happening he looked at us and didn't say anything. He had us standing there waiting for one hour only to find out that he didn't know what he was doing. The owner of this location finally came and finished the reservation within 5 min. Conclusion: at least tell us what is happening instead of leaving us in the dark. And if you don't know what you are doing let us know. We wasted an hour of our day just standing at this location because this guy had know idea what to do. Next time we will just go to another location even though this location is walking distance.

When I reserved the vehicle, I also ordered a mattress bag to be in the vehicle when I picked it up. No mattress bag. Also, I drove the care 20km. The fuel needle was at 3/4 tank. I brought it back and the needle had barely moved from 3/4 but I was asked to put gas in or I'd be fined. It definitely wasn't at 5/8s.

I arrived 7 minutes before pick-up. The store owner came 15 minutes after my scheduled pick-up and did not even apologize for having me wait. Plus vehicle was so dirty and filthy.

Truck was very dirty. It had mud all over it from the previous users. I used less than 30km but got charged for 72km. The gas was listed at full but when I went to check, a whole notch was missing. Terrible experience at this location. Definitely would not recommend

Worst rental experience. The clerk at the daisy mart could not find my profile on his system and was getting frustrated as the line continued to build. He asked for my phone number, my drivers licence and then my passport. After some time was spent searching he kept repeating that he could not find it. He eventually just gave up and dealt with his line before assisting me again and told me that he had to redo the entire process. He was also unaware of how much fuel was in the car. I had to take a picture and explain why it was 3/4 full instead of the 7/8 that he suggested. When returning the vehicle, the clerk charged me extra KMs. In the picture with the fuel, it had also indicated the current KMs before rental so it was very evident that he had charged me an extra 5 KMs. This was by far the worst customer service experience i have had at any rental company.

The pickup of the van was delayed because two clerks at the Daisy Mart weren't familiar with the U-haul system. It took 45 minutes, but eventually between the two of them, they figured it out (both claimed to be new). Upon return, two DIFFERENT clerks did 'NOT' know how to process the return of the van. They advised me to come back in 2 hours when their manager 'should' be back (again, both claimed to be new). It took 2 phone calls to U-haul head office and over 1 and 45 minutes to get the van return processed. Not to be mistaken, my complaint and bad experience does 'not' pertain to the U-Hual representatives at head office - my issues is with the U-haul clerks at the daisy mart pickup location. The first U-haul representative attempted to 'walk' the Daisy Mart clerks through the return process over the phone, but eventually, the Daisy Mart clerk decided that it was not urgent because the manager would process the return and eventually hung up the phone. The second U-haul representative which I spoke with was INCREDIBLE and processed the return over the phone in about 3 minutes - without involving the clerks at the Daisy Mart. The clerks at the Daisy Mart were not knowledgeable and RUDE. They even went as far as stating that it was Sunday at that it shouldn't matter if my time was wasted because I didn't have anything better to do. Finally, the van smelled - BADLY! We had to drive with the windows down the entire time to air out the van. Thankfully it wasn't raining or I wouldn't have been able to make the trip because of the smell in the van.

( I waited 30 mins before the system could be updated with my information. was told that the reference given to me at booking was useless.Had to repeat my telephone number several times to the attendant and he asked for my driver's license three times. 2) English must be spoken at all times. 3) Explanation of the rental process and all charges must be completed before vehicle is handed over to the renter.

After being at this location my credit card which he swiped several times the american express which made reservation with he reports wasn't working then he asked for my visa, made me swipe it two times saw me put code in after frustration. Now get a call that my credit card is compromised and someone was trying to make payment with my credit card. This people coming to the store looked questionable and place was very shady and looked suspicious. I will never go back

The cargo van we rented for the day was filthy, gross, the most disgusting car/van we ever rented. Trash was left on the floor. Coffee cups, trash, cardboard and a layer of dirt was all over the van's floor. We had to take it to our house and actually sweep the floor and vacuum it before we used it for the day. I will never get another cargo van from this location. When we returned the cargo van, we asked the clerk who is responsible for cleaning up the van. The clerk said: yes, i have to clean it. That is not acceptable. Something needs to change.

Hello, The person at the counter was very nice. Van could have been swept and there was stuff obviously from other people using it. After driving for 10 minutes the windshield wipers fluid ran out - but that happens. Overall it was good.

we book it at 10:30, we wait 45 mins for he owner come, and he did not have the computer. this is so bad for customer. and he lie to uhaul customer service that his computer is brooken, that is not true. and he is not serve me after 30 mins later some one bring his computer came. he is keep sale his store goods and let me keep waiting. i think i should get money back from this bad experience. and as uhaul should stop this location service.

Actually, I had a problem because I was holding a Brazilian license. The guy said me I couldn't use this license in this site because "his" system didn't have the field to insert such number. I had to call to the central phone and it was resolve just when the attendant call to the store. Moreover, the Van was dirty.

I have used U-Haul several times in the past always with great experience but this location was not helpful or professional at all. Upon arrival they did not have the truck and after making a call they said to wait 15min. After waiting 30min I sensed I wasn't going to get a truck anytime soon so I contact U-Haul custom support. They transferred me to another location (2872 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, ON) a 20 minute drive from the original location. Arriving at the new location they told me no record was sent to them regards my truck rental and asked me to call U-Haul customer support. While on hold for customer support I received a call back from the original location saying the truck is now here so I had to drive back again to that location to pickup the truck. After two hours and driving through the city twice I received the truck I had booked and pre-checked in online. A whole other story unfolded when I returned the truck for which I have launched a formal complaint and am waiting to hear back from U-Haul.

Make sure interior is cleaned out from previous client. We had to throw out trash and there was liquid/milk or something smelly on rubber flooring in cargo portion which we had to bring to their attention.

- staff very bad at explaining contract (insurance, what I was signing, vehicle walk through) - automatically put on the insurance coverage when I opted not to use it. - was not given the option of payment - very very very stingy with level of gas. I cannot believe the level of poor customer service. I can understand if it is noticeable but when it comes down to a millimeter difference and then having to use more gas to get back to the gas station and then back it was a waste of time. After a few experiences with uhaul I am happy to say that I will not be using you again. Enterprise is much more professional with their employees, explanation and overall business. With them it doesn't look like I'm renting a vehicle in an alley or from a run down variety store that looks like it's going out of business. Please please take uhaul out of all daisy Mart or any other type of variety store. For all other people renting from uhaul, if you're going to rent with them go to an actual uhaul location not a variety store that rents out their trucks and vans.
