Service was not up to date on the transport trailer he had me use. Picked up Saturday and before leaving Monday ha to air up all four tires. One was at 19 lbs. Also told him the front safety chain was missing. He said I never hook them up anyway. Also the drivers side fender bolts were very loose so tightened them up.Ronald F.
The location is nested back in some trees and tricky to find. After hours drop off is almost impossible due to the drop box being located behind a locked gate. We called to let them know we could not drop the key off and kept it with us after dropping the truck of (we did not want the liability of it being stolen). The next day, we brought the keys to the shop after we got off work (we leave for work at 5:30 am and the shop was still not open). They charged us for an extra day. We were 1-2 gallons of gas off on the gauge and were charged for that as well. We had already put in, as I've mentioned before, all our gas budget because the truck was much larger than requested. It took us 5 weeks to be refunded from the additional charges they added for this trip. Next time we will use Penske!Tommy R.

Truck was parked over trees and cab was full of ants. Contract was finalized prior to verifying requested equipment was available. Da Shop is a poorly located, unkempt, sketchy location that made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.Adam R.

Horrible service with return: 1.) I had a $733.33 bill of which $138.90 was charged in error 2.) dishonest about gas gauge and I had receipt with time/date/location stamp from gas station that is diagonally across the street to show that ample fuel had just been purchased moments before returning the truck. 54.90 was charged to me in error 3.) SafeMove charges that I did not request, select nor give consent to because when I signed, I did not notice a SafeMove option. $84.00 was charged to me in error for this l. I immediately called the location where I leased the truck only for him to tell me that he knows nothing about the billing and directed me to call 1-800-GO-UHAUL. I went to the text prompt that I'd received that had an email to reach out to for questions and/or concerns. I did. I initially received no response. As a result, I called Customer Service to dispute and while on hold, heard the automated recording state that I could dispute charges online so I did. After disputing online, on 10/14, I received a reply from Mr. Craig Zion to my original email saying that I had received a link that I did not use so charges were correct. I responded that I had not received a link to date and that charges were not correct. I, then asked for the next level of escalation to which I NEVER received a response. I called Customer Service back again to dispute the charges only to be told that once the AFM denies a refund, nothing can be done. I told that agent that I've been renting from U-Haul for years and that I would not call and whine or gripe about $138.90 if it wasn't legitimate, in light of the large bill I have. I don't dispute anything else but the fuel and SafeMove that were wrongfully charged.Trimeka J.

There was a tree down and scratched the top of my truck. When pulling in, I thought I was pulling into a chop shop. Met by a car blocking my entrance. A guy got out of the car. I asked if he worked there. He said YEAH. I own the place can you wait a minute. I was going to offer to help him push the car before this. I asked where I could park the trailer. He pointed over there. I parked the trailer and waited. I ultimately left the trailer knowing I dropped it off with my GPS and video. I did get receipt thankfully. That place is a joke and the OWNER was a complete jerk. I would ever recommend.Marty A.

This shop is amazing and the owner is superb. He got me all loaded up and his shop was a true hot rib body shop. I would take everything to him! Even when I dropped the trailer off I had to show him the new ride I got and even drive back! Thank you for being around the corner to make my life easier.STEVEN C.
I believe that the U-Haul is a really good opportunity for a lot of people the problem I'm having with U-Haul is the fact that I've ran the truck for 186 and then turn around when I brought the truck back have to pay another $202 I believe that's a little bit high for a two-day rental I feel like you know it shouldn't have been that high even if I was in late I didn't put I didn't have enough gas in it but I exit 202 that's 400 dollars for two day rental and the website doesn't claim that is the amount I was told on the website I was only going to pay $142 I get there it's a little bit more and then I bring it back it's still owed $202 dollarsTereze L.

The guy at the rental place was on the phone when I arrived and asked for the keys and told me we're good. He didn't check the truck or discuss anything further he just went back to his conversation. This made for a quick drop off experience but left me a bit uneasy.Ray Q.

I was charged $72.00. I returned my truck on time. The rep didn't do anything but take the keys and said "you're good" when I asked if there was anything else needed. The road to get to this location is overgrown and is a hazard. It is riddled with potholes and old vehicles that are rusted out. It would be easy to damage a large truck because of the company's failure to maintain the lot. Funny how easy it is for the company to take my money, but how difficult it is to reach someone to fix the problem. Ridiculous.KIMBERLY B.

Although there was plenty of Uhauls, the office wasn't professional at all. The property outside was a shambles. It was hard getting in and out with all of the old cars and car parts lying around. The manager was fine, no issues. The Uhaul I rented had newer tires, and worked great!Gene J.

When I pulled out of the rental facility the low fuel light came one within 2 miles. More fuel should be maintained in the vehicles and not require fueling before even using the equipment.Christopher S.

The location is a disorganized facility for a novice truck driver, dirt road, leading to large field, with U-Haul equipment scattered everywhere. No clear markings or directions for parking a 26' truck with AT attached. The contact phone # was not answered and the voice mail was not set up to leave a message.HECTOR R.

Have correct times on site. This location does not offer 24/7 pickup, even though I could schedule with it. My reservation was changed twice 20 minutes before my original time due to this. The owner arrived 20 minutes later than the open time of 10am, and they did not have a 15ft truck like I originally ordered, meaning I had to get a 20ft truck instead, not a huge problem but the extra upcharge was frustrating. I would not recommend this location, or UHaul in general after this experience.Benjamin G.

I drop off the U Haul and get back to my car two hours laterâ€¦ ALL THE RIMS ARE GONE. It's almost as if he scheduled someone to come and take them. Don't waste your time with this location it's literally the worst experience I've had so far.Sam K.

I scheduled for 9 and no one was their. I called and he told me I would have to wait another 30 minutes before he got their. The truck smelled like sweat and was not clean. Then I checked my account and I got charged an extra $25. My contract was for 20 miles and I only put 19 miles on the truck. The gas gauge never moved but I still put $6 dollars in so I do not know how I was charged extra.Joshua W.

The phone number that was given to me in the email confirmation was not the right number. I had to drive by the location and get the phone number off a broken-down sign out front. It's down a long lane and I wasn't sure if I went down it if I would be able to get turned around and back out. But the man there was helpful enough and it worked out.Shannon B.

Location opened 30 minutes after time posted on website, owner was 15 minutes late after that. Truck was clean but the check engine light was on, the transmission needs work, and the truck struggled in the lower gears. The alignment was also off with the steering wheel rotated approx. 45 degrees to the left with wheels straight.Jennifer B.
This is a BAD location for U-haul rentals. This location close early on Saturday and don't even open on Sunday. I had to keep the trailer that I rented an extra day, when I wanted to return on Sunday. I would rather rent at an actually U-haul store in that way I could just drop off after hours.Eddie J B.

I did not select this location, I selected a known location, and when I showed up for my 8:00 reservation, I opened the app and saw that my reservation had been moved to another location across town without any notice. Once I arrive at the new location, I was concerned about it. It was hidden down a long wooded private drive with "Beware of Dog" signs everywhere and I did not feel safe. U-Haul trucks were littered about, mixed all in with various other broken down vehicles and all along the long private drive. I started the 24/7 app check in, it took me 4 trips up and down the drive and sifting through the junk yard to find a truck that was present and accessible. Once I completed the "24/7" check in, I was surprised to see that I had to retrieve the key from an employee. I went back down the drive to search for an employee. There were 3 different auto shop buildings, none of which were marked as having an office or any U-Haul affiliation. I knocked on doors for the different buildings with no answer. I then notice some other people sitting parked in a car. They rolled down their windows and explained they were trying to get a truck as well, but that there was no one there. They said they had called the number on one of the buildings and the guy had said he was on the way and would be there in 20 minutes. Almost an hour passes by before he shows up, and another customer had showed up waiting by that time. Once he starts working with me on the truck, he stated that he had no furniture pads available, despite me already paying for them. He then fumbles with the computer for another 15+ minutes trying to figure out how to refund my money and never is able to do so. I finally get my truck at 10:30 am, 2.5 hours after my reservation. I had movers scheduled to show up at my house at 10am but thankfully they were able to adjust their schedule for me. Nonetheless, this meant we didn't get started until after lunch which resulted in me having to keep the truck an extra day. I returned the truck at 12am and used the app to complete the "24/7" check in process. The final step in the app required me to place the key in the U-Haul lockbox. I had to leave the truck at the beginning of the private drive to the location because the gate was closed and locked. I am also certain there was no lockbox inside the gate at the buildings, because I looked for one when I picked up the truck. I took the key home with me with intentions to once again, drive 30 minutes to the location to return the key in the morning. This entire experience was a nightmare and added an exorbitant amount of stress to an already stressful move. Without appropriate restitution, I can no longer use or recommend U-Haul.Eric W.
