This uhaul over charged me for my rental. I traveled 29 miles they charged me $160 I got a quote online for $67. They also told me that they have to put down the price for 50 miles which was $167 but they wont charge for that if its under 50 ot was under 50 and I put in more gas than was there before. The check in lady told me I used 29 miles. I went from Antioch ca. To Pittsburgh ca and back. I want to file a formal complaint about this uhaul agency.Rachel G.
2nd time ordering a Uhaul from this location and both times I order dollies and furniture pads and both times they do not have them available and say that I never ordered them. My invoices get manually adjusted to reflect different requested times (last time I requested 8 hours and they gave me 7 instead) and the attitude of the staff are horrible. Equipment is old and the sensors were on in the trucks (15% of oil left and tire sensors). Save yourself the trouble and look for another location. Even if it means traveling a bit further to pick it up.Nick R.

I had the 24/7 truck share option. The truck was not available at the time I was guaranteed. Waited over 30 minutes for the business to prep the truck and received a your truck is ready for pick up after calling customer service.Jesus P.

Stay open for normal business hours. The $20 late check in fee is out of line. I drop off at 5 o'clock, normal business hours. The $50 cleaning fee is out of line. $50 to sweep out the truck is unfair. You charged me $70 for extra charges, $25 for fuel, I only drove 15 miles. That is unfair charges That's 5 gallons of gas that would get me 75 miles. Your company is unfair and taking advantage. I will be leaving comments on all social media. You people are crooks.JHONNY S.

Horrible vehicle. First one had all the engine lights on so we turned around d and went back to get a different truck. It was do dirty with animal hair and just general grossness that we didn't even want to touch anything. The back smelled like a dead animal also. It drove like it was going to die any second so we were scared we wouldn't make it from point A to point B. Location of the place was in a residential area and a dump...was so dirty and gross. I was told it would be $53 a day after taxes but was charged $73 which is unacceptable. We've used uhaul a lot and after this probably won't use again for awhile..definitely not this location.Kristina M.

The inside of the cab was very dirty and sticky when I picked it up, but you still charged me for cleaning it afterwards, even though i reported it during the pickup. The back of the truck also leaked and water got into several of my furniture items. If you hadn't charged me for the cleaning, I wouldn't care as much, but you did, and I want my $50 returned.Lucas B.

Somehow computer error caused my reservation to be all wrong. My credit card had already been charged and everything. Instead of finding a solution I was told by the representative there was nothing she could do. the Manager got on the phone and started talking over me. Not listening to my concern at all. I ended up hanging up because they were so unprofessional. I will never be returning to that location and I'm going to make sure to leave a review with my full experience so that no one has to ever deal with that level of unprofessionalism.AURORA Q.

I reserved a one way truck rental on line between Antioch and Sacramento, a distance of only 40 miles. I received a written confirmation. When I arrived at the location, they refused to rent a truck for one way and said I had to pay extra for a round trip and return the truck to their location. That is a breach of my rental contract and dishonest business practice.DAVID S.

Owner was very rude and has no clue about customer service. Waiting on line to get service other costumers waiting to return stated they would never come back. I have joined their ranks. I love the service was just a little bit disappointed that the truck wasn't clean especially due to covid I think you guys really need to take extra precautions and to checking your vehicles and making sure that the inside is just as clean especially if you want it back the same way.. other than that I had a great experience here I just thought you guys should hear the feedback about the cleansiness of the vehicle.DIANA R.
Customer service could be a bit more welcoming. It seem that there was a little more overflow of customers needed moving U-Haul trucks. So they brought in an older women to help, she looked like she may have some kind of ailment and seem to be angry that she was there, no patients with the customers. The receptionist was neither knowledgeable nor friendly. She dis not verify that my reservation showed mobile reservation like my reservation confirmation did. I showed up after they were closed. When I went online to pick up the truck, it said I had to come back the next day because my reservation was an in-office reservation. Thankfully an employee walked by and was able to help me but then the 17' truck I reserved was not rentable because the door to the back was broken. They had no other 17' trucks available to rent. After paying for my rental plus $50 in miles in advance, when I returned the truck they tried to charge me full price again plus more miles than I actually traveled. Parts inside truck were falling apart on 15' truck I had to rent instead. Roll up door was super stiff.Rita M.

We reserved*(thru call center) in Pittsburg but the truck was late & thankfully Antioch had the 26 ft truck. I rented days & husband didn't sweep out or fold blankets *(but it wasn't clean from previous customers the windows were filthy & cabin had crumbs & truck was not swept out previously!! ) Kinda unfair to charge me cleaning fee $25 plus to fold blankets *(2x6=$12) plus missing 2 out of 6 utility blankets =12/each to replace. This is crazy! I feel that for my inconvenience those extra fees should be credited. Anyways this location needs extra staff as long wait to check out truck.*(On a positive note the staff was nice!) The link to check out was not working well since WIFI connection is weak. Upgrade your internet to gig & you won't have these issues.KELLY B.

Very dirty place. Most disappointed that I reserved a truck at Brentwood Self Storage, close to my home and was switched to this location miles from my home. Was that UHaul's attempt to increase their income by making me put more mileage on the truck? I will probably not rent from UHaul again because of this. Lost a customer.LANCE M.

Tow dolly was in horrible condition. Some of the problems were spotted at the rental location, but many more were found by me the next day. I called uhaul to report the problems and the operator told me she would get me another tow dolly, but could not get one for me. She told me to do the best I could with it, and just call uhaul from the road when it broke down.RICHARD D.
