I initially ordered a truck from Cedar City to Spanish Fork, but was offered a discount of ~$80 if I took my truck to Provo instead. Before I went to pick up the truck I had to make a change to the pick up time and only adjusted it by an hour, but I'm pretty sure my discount was no longer applied to the order. I tried asking the uhaul chat as well as the guy at the pick up location if I was still getting the discount. I wasn't able to receive any solidified answer, but them just guessing that it would still be on there. I'm still not 100% convinced.

The trailer was not cleaned prior to receipt of the trailer. The gentlemen who helped me out was great and provided blankets to cover the mud. This is the second 10x6 trailer I''ve rented this summer. I would be great to have a tongue jack installed so we can temporarily detach the trailer with one person.

After going to two other places looking for the right equipment that I reserved online I finally found the right equipment from a 3rd place. The truck and trailer I rented were both very dirty. They both had salt and road grim from the last storm and weren’t washed. We didn’t do a walk through at all, didn’t check for any type of damage I also didn’t get an invoice or anything so I couldn’t even verify the gas or mileage. The trailer tongue lock that attaches to the ball on the receiver got stuck every time I tried to use it and I had to fight with it to get it to go on every time. My reservation was supposed to be for the weekend and was only for one day. I was told keep it as long as I needed it and they would take care of me when I brought it back. Brought it back and they claimed I brought it back a day later than I really did and made a big deal about me keeping it for a few days longer. I smashed my phone at the end of the night when I was trying to return the truck and trailer because I was fighting with the lock on the trailer. Over all just a bad experience and I’ve always had great experience with Uhaul in the past. I wish Cedar had a real Uhaul place to rent from instead of all these “side” businesses that don’t really give a crap about the people who rent the Uhauls. I’ll definitely not use Uhaul in the future to move my stuff and I’ve used Uhaul numerous times in the past and spent $1000s of dollars.

$103.23 needs to be refunded asap as I am contacting my bank and completing a dispute for wrongful charges. I already paid $157.60 to pick up what I thought was a 26 foot truck to move out that turned out to be a waste of time I am having to have to pay an extra month rent because of you and this has cost me half the day yesterday waiting on the phone with Uhaul customer service who reassured me that I wouldn't be charged this extra amount come to find out today I see that was another lie. This Friday, I am needing to rent a uhaul 26 foot to finish moving out because you falsely misled me and I couldn't move out with the 15 foot truck that I normally would have been moved out if I would have had the 26 foot that I thought I was ordering due to your error with misrepresenting and letting me order and drive after leaving several messages to confirm via phone on the prior $157.60 charges. I will not be using Uhaul or recommending this to any of my friends or family again! This is terrible customer service and false representation that costs people a lot of wasted time and money!

I was very disappointed in that I requested a smaller truck well in advance and was assured they would get one in by the time I needed it. It was a bait and switch and when I went to pick up the truck they said all they had available was the larger truck but at the same price. It took more gas of course and was harder to maneuver in tight parking areas but we were stuck. If they had been honest with me up front I would have tried to find the smaller truck somewhere else.

UHAUL DID THEIR JOB AND WELL.. MOVING HELP WAS HORRIBLE IN CEDAR CITY. WE HAD TO PAY OVER $450 TO UNLOAD A TRUCK 12FT FROM THE FRONT DOOR AND IT TOOK LESS THAN 2 HOURS. I'D SAY THAT WAS A SCAM AND UHAUL RECOMMENDED THEM. YOU NEED TO REVIEW YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THOSE PEOPLE.
