we had to change locations. The new location didnt know we were coming. We didnt have the opportunity to inspect the truck before signing. There was less than 3/8 tank of gas when we got. We filled it to 3/8 and for some reason we are being billed for gas. We never recieved en email for the contract. The worst Uhaul experience we have had.

The truck that was rented to me had several holes in the roof. When I called to see about getting a different truck, I was told they didn't have any others available on that lot and I would have to call around to other lots to find a different one. They rented defective equipment and did nothing to make replacing that equipment easier for me, the customer. The second lot I called on my own (not a U-Haul store, but an authorized dealer) was the one that got the regional manager involved, who then found a replacement truck for me and took care of the reservation. I was extremely dissatisfied with the U-Haul location at 7th & Florida and would advise anyone to rent equipment elsewhere.

We needed to rent an appliance dolly with our truck and the location we rented from did not have one so we were sent to a different location to pick one up. It took time out of our move because we had to wait once we got to the other location due to paperwork not being correct in their system. The corporate office did give us an extra 3 hours on our contract, which was appreciated. And the guy helping us was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. We have moved several times, even across 3 states for one move and have always rented from Uhaul, this is the first time we've had an inconvenient experience.

This is mainly on uhaul. They estimated my trip at 30 miles. I never went off track and i live by the uhaul pickup spot and i still went over. Also uhaul tried changing my dropoff point after contract was agreed on, they sent it in a text, no explanation, no phone call. That took time out of my already busy day getting that changed back. Also there was no mention that i would need internet access to return my truck, thats bullshit, its a truck rental, there is no reason to have to find someone that has internet access to rent a truck and move my shit. Truck was fine, thats all i should be reviewing, but uhaul added in all this unnecessary bs.
