I had the worst experience renting a vehicle at this location. The person in charge was incredibly rude and charged me incorrectly on my invoice. I returned the truck with a full tank of gas, yet he charged me $62 for fuel. I tried to explain the mistake, but it only got worse. He never properly received the vehicle or acknowledged that I returned it full. I waited an hour for him to validate the return, and the only thing he did at the end was nearly hit me with the vehicle he was driving out. As of today, I have a charge of $232 on my card when I should have only paid $92. People like this should not represent such a prestigious brand. I wasn't the only one upset that day; there were several other dissatisfied customers. The service was absolutely dreadful.
ADOLFO ACronin glass was an excellent U-Haul location for anyone in East Vancouver, and Fred who runs it is Charing and polite and goes the extra mile! We've been return customers this week dealing with a big house move and one thing we haven't had to stress about is the U-Haul.

Jenn MThe guy who worked there named Fred was extremely rude, impolite, and impatient. He refused to answer any of my questions and even started cursing at me out of nowhere. If this is the type of behaviour that is customers have to deal with then I will start taking my business elsewhere in the future. I have been using Uhaul for all of my moving needs but people like Fred are what brings down this company and Uhaul would be better off cutting ties with him.
NATHAN CEverything was lined up and ready to go when I got there. The equipment was very clean and tidy. I booked online but wanted additional accommodations and Fred was on top of it. I would recommend renting from tho location even if you have to go out of the way a little. Fred made it worth it. ¡Gracias!

This is my first time rent a truck from U-Haul, I like the convenience of location and the booking system but not the billing process, too many emails and despite I fill up the gas after use, I still being charged for refuel.

Harrison IThe person who assisted me was extremely passive aggressive after I told him that I was not comfortable with him scanning my driver license and could he just do it the old fashioned way by looking at photo and comparing with me. I even mentioned PIPA. His response, "Take it up with u- haul". I went to retrieve my ID and he yelled, " Don't touch that I'm not done!" Scary guy. U- haul Policy does not supersede law. I also had to move that day and had no time to find alternative rental company. I will also be contacting u- haul head office about this. He then did a 30 second walk through ahead of me and walked into store. I took photos of mileage and outside of truck myself as I didn't trust this guy. 6.5 hours later I returned truck with my ex - husband. The u-haul guy was initially nice to him ( not me) until we had a question about the mileage on invoice. " Take it up with u- haul" and spouts off a phone number while walking into the back. My ex said we were just asking a question and wanted help. The guy responded with laughter, locked his office after yelling at my ex to get his foot out of the door at 3:30pm approximately ( the doorway is higher than sidewalk so there is a ledge and he was resting as we moved all day long) and mentioned to check a 2nd email before he walked down street. He did not provide any quality customer service. No walk through around truck was done upon return because this guy walked off without finishing process. Again, I took my own photos of mileage and outside of vehicle. Horrible, disrespectful, and scary behaviour in my opinion! Not someone I would want representing and promoting my brand.

Derek SI was relocated, and while the new location was totally adequate, I'm extremely disappointed with uhaul as a company. The relocation was not clearly communicated to me, and I had to travel an additional 40 minutes in each direction to get to the new location. As someone who doesn't have a personal vehicle, this cost me a significant amount of money on cab fair, not to mention the precious time lost during an extremely busy move in day. I also had an extremely difficult time reaching uhaul on the phone, and when I did finally get through the customer service agents lacked basic communication skills and were mostly unable to help me. The customer service agent I spoke to guaranteed me that a vehicle was available at the new location, however when I arrived I found out that the location did not in fact have the promised vehicle. Luckily the representative at the location offered us a 15' truck in place of the 10' that we had booked, but this truck was much more difficult to park and drive through our narrow neighbourhood streets. Overall very disappointed in this service.
Ava CIt would have been nice to have a remote Fob to lock the doors, otherwise I was impressed with the vehicle itself, and Fred, the owner of the outlet is one great guy. Was a pleasure meeting him.
DAN CEverything about this was sketchy. When you read "Cronin Glass" you assume it's going to be a residential or automotive glass business, but then it turns out to be a bong shop. I was told in a very matter-of-fact way that they did not, in fact, have the trailer I reserved and that I would have to call U-Haul to sort that out. I was sent on my way without being asked to sign anything. Would definitely not recommend.

CHUNG CError in billing. Estimate for 4 hour van rental was ~$42 + km but after return I seem to have been charged $141.58. Why? I will be following up with the agent (Cronin Glass on Renfrew Street in Vancouver, BC, Canada) tomorrow.
MATTHEW KWe've rented a truck from Fred twice now, and both times we were very pleased and impressed with his prompt, professional, and friendly service. We will rent from here again whenever we need to, as well as we would recommend this location to anyone!
JACOB CThe representative over the phone was very helpful finding me a close location for an urgent pickup and went and reserved a 1 bedroom rental. Little did I know that I would be greeted with the most unprofessional and racist person so far I have met. There was an elderly look skinny person at the shop her rushed me through the booking and gave me the keys. I was trying to take a picture of milage but there was sign on odometer for Low rear tire air pressure which was constantly on and I was not able to see the milage on the odometer. So I kindly requested the person to have a look at it and the response from him I got initially was "you are blind I already checked it." So then I insisted and asked him again to have a look at the low air pressure sign and to help me with locating the milage before I start driving but instead he handed me the key and walked away and said "fuck off." The guy then walked to his shop, closed it and left. I was left like that. Anyway I had to go and pick up my haul which I was getting about to get late for the promised pickup of the load. I was very sad and was very heart by how I was treated. I have been always a loyal customer to U-Haul because of the best and helpful customer support but unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I hope this matter goes to the right people and make some positive change so no one else goes through what I just did today. Thanks.

JEEVAN MI must say, I work with Uhaul often and this is hands down the best experience I have had with a location to date. This locaiton was accomidating through some a difficult worksituaiton which had me extend my rental twice after being late for the initial pickup. The chaos of my work spilled over and I assured me it was alright. I truly cannot say enough about how helpful and professional the shop owner was. 10/10 will be working with this location in the future. Thank you for making a tuff week managable!
Marvin MFred had horrible customer service and made me feel uncomfortable during the rental process. He told me off for not uploading my driver's license information in preparation for the rental; I have accessibility issues and was not able to upload the information. The store is a combined pot shop/U-haul rental. I arrived punctually for my rental pick-up and Fred was not at the front desk when I walked in. I had to knock on the employee-only back door to find him and he appeared angry at me for disturbing him. I will not rent from this location again and I do not recommend this service.
Olivia HTruck fuel tank wasn't full (15/16) and Uhaul person mentioned to me that I had to return it full. Person in the Uhaul location couldn't provide clear directions on where the Uhaul was located (initially mentioned back alley and then side street). Uhaul was parked around 300m away from the location. Apparently, person in the location was high. Don't recommend this location to anyone. Car was clean and in very good condition, though.

gregg othe guy threw me the key than say Fuck to me, kick me out without any assistance, refuse to answer me any question. I spend another hour to redraft a contract by phone. Didn't show me where is the truck and confirm with me the trucks condition, actually the truck doesn't have any AC and I got suffer in the summer day time. I already report everything to call center and you guys said will report to area manager. How to improve? Fire this guy or terminate this dealer. This was the worst customer service during my 40 years life. So disappointed, and you guys charge me more than App shows

Marissa WI had a terrible experience with this U-Haul location, primarily due to the rudeness of the owner of the store. From the beginning, he was incredibly unhelpful and seemed completely uninterested in providing any form of customer service. The situation worsened when I called him to follow up on a billing issue. Instead of assisting me, he literally yelled at me, told me to contact U-Haul directly, and then hung up on me. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on the U-Haul brand. I strongly believe that U-Haul should reconsider working with this owner/operator as he is giving them a bad name. I hope that U-Haul takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure that other customers do not have to go through a similar experience.
Robyn BThe staff was very rude. He did not give a relevant answer to any of my questions. The way he spoke was very rude. Although I bought the tank half full, the paperwork said there was more. When I reported this to him, he said it was not important and just leave it as it was. At the end of the day, I left it the same way, but he charged me for the extra gas behind my back. Definitely do not get service from this location. Very unprofessional and rude service. He never answers the phone.

Norman RWhen I picked up the moving truck, there was 1/4 of gas in the tank. The dealer that provided the truck showed me and showed me on his end that showed the same. I took ap picture of the gas gauge before I left. Before I brought the truck to the drop off location, I put gas in it to be back to the level it was at when I took the truck. The dealer that I dropped the truck off too told me that his system said the tank needed to have 3/4 in it and that if it didn't, I was going to be charged an extra $140. I showed him the picture of the gas tank when I picked up the truck and was told that was not his problem and that if I didn't have the truck back to him with 3/4 tank of gas, that I would be charged $140. This change went on for a few minutes and I realized that he was going to make no effort to help or understand where I was coming from. I asked for the keys and went to the gas station and put the gas in the vehicle. I dropped it back off and was told that should I have any concerns I can call the 1-800 number, which I did and brings us to here. Moving is stressful enough and I now feel that I was essentially robbed by your company. I would please like my $95 back. Receipts and pictures of the gas meter are attached. If you cross reference the mileage, you can see that your company is in the wrong and I am entitled to the money that was forced to spend.
