Reserved a cargo van when I came to pick up it was NOT available. Rented truck instead Major issue with the PSI in right front tire. I had to pull over off freeway 2 times. When I called in to ask what was happening the psi right front tire warning light displayed 34 to fill to 42. When I put air in it stayed at 34 then when got back on freeway it was 56 When I called again the u hual rental worker "said yeah that happens and could not assure me the truck was safe to drive at 70mph. So I had no choice but to drive on a over inflated tire. When I made it back driving 50 mph They acted like it was no big deal and said AFTER the cold can affect the digital display but I was not told this befre I left The right front tire was NOT at proper psi when I left I will NECER use u haul again NOR will I ever recommend The staff was not interested in my safety at ALL. I had to return early without beginning able to do what I rented the truck to begin with. It was a waste of 92 dollars and my time, A having to deal with vehicle issues. I am 59 years old and have back issues and they put me in a situation where I did have the knowledge or ability to fix your company truck. To make things worse they knew of the problem ahead of time and even said they need to call U-Haul about . I will never use this company again and will post my experience on my social media platforms to warn people that U-Haul does not take your safety

The place was fine. But u haul ph number was horrible service first of all I could not get checked in online and it was a glitch in the system it took over an hour for us to be able just to get the vehicle then Upon returning the same problem was not able to complete it wouldn't take a picture that was a clear picture so upon being told it's going to be over an hour wait we ended up just leaving the keys I would never recommend online with you all again and then lastly I get an email stating that I owe more which is fine if that's the case but instead of taking it off of the card that you already had on file it didn't I called the place that I rented it from and they tell me they can't accept the payment so then I have to call that one 800 U-Haul number again so wait over an hour still no response and I'm just trying to pay the bill but I don't understand why it didn't get paid in the first place

On my request for rental of truck and equipment, I ordered a certain number of blankets, a furniture dolly, and a utility dolly. When I arrived, they only had half the number of blankets I asked for and they didn't have a furniture dolly available. It would be nice if when ordering items for rental, that they were actually there when picking up rental equipment. I really needed the items I ordered and really struggled because I was not able to get what I ordered.

If someone reserves a certain size truck, you shouldn't change their reservation. With these size trucks, some folks may not be comfortable with the larger trucks. Also, the person at the pick up location should be able to change reservations.

It is very upsetting how y'all can take $20.00 from customers when you pay your employees to do the work to make sure they have the right equipment sure it was part of the deposit but that $20.00 could break someone or take food out of their kids mouth they might not have any internet to do it did y'all think of that

The customer service representative told me to make sure I checked the vehicle in online to avoid additional check in costs but he failed to mention that I would need to take photos of the milage and gas gauge inside the truck. It would have been very easy to communicate this info when he told me about online check-in. I had already locked the truck and put the keys in the dropbox when I tried to check the vehicle back in so I was unable to capture the required photos and ended up getting charged the check-in fee.

Not lying to a customer. I was told for everyday I go over the 5 days I'm charged an extra $20 a day I go over 3 days and charged an extra $40 a day. DOUBLE what I was originally told. Absolutely unacceptable

Clean the trucks and instead of offering a fuel credit, ensure the truck's fuel level is full. Don't give a customer a truck with 30 miles remaining before empty. Truck was filthy.

I drove 11 miles, put in 2 gallons of gas minutes before return at gas station in your parking lot. Needle was past the spot where I got it. You still charged me for 2 gallons more of gas.

I rented a truck yesterday with no problems and returned it yesterday with no problems and then I got a phone call today saying i didn't return the truck or the key after I explained that not only did i return it but i returned it to the same person that rented it to me after I told the guy on the phone that i parked the truck on the side of the building and that the guy told me when i handed him the keys that was all he needed and i was good to go I left. As soon I finished my explanation he said oh I'm sorry I found the keys have a nice day. I would still recommend this place because the guys were nice and got me what i needed but I think they should've looked for the keys a little bit harder before basically accusing me of stealing a truck 😮 because I am not a thief and don't appreciate being accused of one. So maybe a little more organization techniques should be taught to the staff so they don't lose the keys after a customer returns them and also all they had to do was look up and they would see the big ass truck through the window since I rented the only 26ft truck they had. Otherwise it would've been a perfect visit and experience. Thank you Susan Kittler

My hitch was stuck. Agent told me if trailer was there next morning he would not charge me. Authorization fell off 2 days later. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS CHARGED. You know FULL WELL that trailer never left your premises! DISHONEST AND GREEDY!

I ordered a dolly to go with my truck for my move. The dolly was not in the truck when I was checking and doing mobile checkin. Which this wasn't the problem. The problem was that I called customer service to notify them of this, was on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a representative to be available, then an automated voice came over and said my wait would be an additional 54 minutes and I could state my name for them to call me back. So this is what I did, because by this time I had movers waiting at my house and had to leave the uhaul lot. I got home and immediately go online to chat with customer service to notify them of this missing equipment, he stated the charge would be removed and to not worry about it, which I was relieved, because no one wants to get charged for equipment they never received. Plus I didn't want to be accused of stealing something that wasn't on the truck to begin with. Then 54 minutes came around, I answered the phone and as soon I started telling them my problem with the dolly being missing, they hang up the phone?? THEN on top of having to wait so long to communicate with someone, I go to return the truck and check out, the dolly charge is STILL on my receipt. I just want to say that trying to talk to customer service is like pulling teeth with uhaul!! I was very patient and understanding with covid probably being an issue for short staffing, because I'm an essential worker in this mess too, but this was just ridiculous for my problem to still be going on after not even talking to someone after being on hold for 30 min then waiting an additional hour for a call back.

I was not told that this was a flat rate. So when I dropped it off earlier I did not get a credit for the unused days. I also told them I needed it till Monday not Wednesday. I also had to pick it up on a Saturday because they are closed on Sundays

I picked up the rental at 8:00 am and the process was NOT easy. I had downloaded the app the night before, but there were several steps and it was a frustrating process. Then I returned the vehicle hours before it was due back but was still charged an extra $20 because I did not check it in on line. NO ONE mentioned that this was a part of the contract. I feel cheated and mislead. The truck I rented also smelled of cigarettes.

Thankfully the attendant helped me by allowing me to drop off trailer at this location without a penalty fee due to the fact that my set destination was closed and gate was locked. This attendant saved me from deciding never to use your service again.

The check engine light came on within the first 15 miles of a 400 mile trip. The windshield had not been cleaned and the inside of the windshield had dog nose prints all over it. All surfaces inside the cab were covered in cigarette ash. Be prepared to clean your rental when you pick it up.
