Easy enough. Ordered online the evening before needing, late change of work schedule. Pick up was quick and painless. Truck was clean and in good condition. Truck drove fine and everything worked as it should. Very flexible with schedule and asked for me to call should I run late - which I did. Return was as easy as drive in the lot, drop key in box. Paperwork was handled online and correct. Would use again.

I got to the location to pick up the car hauler at the appointed time and nobody was there. I called the number and a guy said to hook up the trailer and send him pictures of the hitch and pictures of the trailer. Upon return, again nobody there. So, I called again and the guy said he would send me the receipt. There were no instructions to contact anyone or how to hook up the trailer - nothing. Because, I was experienced with trailers, I figured it out. What does a novice do without any instructions or people there to help?

Alice RamboI rented 2 15 foot trucks for 2 days with a total of 135 miles for both trucks. Delivered them back to the same place they were rented from 12 hours early and it cost me over $400. I will NEVER rent from uhaul again and will tell everyone I know not to pay attention to that “$29 a day bs.” I was anticipating $300 at most. I only rented 2 trucks because there were no 26 foot trucks in the area.
Pam CleghornI scheduled my U-haul 30 days in advance with a dolly and 2 dozen blankets. The U-haul authorized dealer told me that's all he could provide, and I would have to get the rest of my moving materials from a Uhaul store. The morning of my move I went to get my U-haul. The authorized dealers tells me he doesn't have the blankets or dolly. That I would have to figure it out on my own. I seen $200 at Home Depot to get blankets to move. The worst experience I have ever had. Very unprofessional and unpleasant man, I warn everyone to stay away from this place.

Got a call from the person that said they would be even later. Waited. Finally they show and then during check out charged for an additional day because it was after 1:00 pm. Now have to watch and confirm a $59 refund. How fun!

Renee KilroyThe individual here was empathetic to my situation. Uhaul still needs to make it right by refunding NY money. I started with a 25 ft request, agreed to 20 ft and then got to the original location and it was closed. When the person finally arrived, there was only 1 20 ft truck and I was sent to this location. There was a 20 ft on the lot bit was given a 15 ft. This reduced my capacity roughly 280 cubit feet, resulting in me having to rent a 2nd truck and spending money I didn't have to spend. I've tried to call the uhaul 800 number and cannot ever get a supervisor for compensation because my daughter drove in from Kansas to Austin to help me move and she was only here for 24 hours before having to head back to KS for school.

The drop-off location pointed this out. The trailer was missing the hand turn tightener. There was just a bolt. Drop-off location said they would fix that. The light extension was not on the trailer. I had to get one off another trailer (in the rain).

Ron ColemanMy order was canceled for no reason. No one called or talked to me about it at all. I was informed that pretty much someone canceled it because it was an out of town move so they didn’t want to accommodate me. I had instant stress and lost 2 Hours of my day dealing with this situation.
Julia DryTruck maintenance was not done well. Truck was released to me with a broken AC unit which I didn’t have the pleasure of finding out until driving it the next day mid-day, already loaded in the middle of July across Texas. It was miserable and I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone.

Richard PattonDealer was great. However, U Haul screwed me over big time. I reserved a 20’ truck for 9:00 am on 6/26. This time was very important to me as I had a big day ahead and had help lined up. I get a text at 11:42 the night before that my reservation started at 11:00. I called my dealer who told me that UHaul Central changed my reservation to a different dealer that wouldn’t open until 11! NOT COOL!!! Last time I do business with UHaul!!! By the way, the dealer was great - Vick who got me in a 15’ that barely fit all my stuff. That’s why I made a reservation for a 20’ at 9:00!!! Get your shit together

Eugene MitschkeOriginally setup a reservation on 5/8/22 for a 26’ truck. Was not notified that my truck was not available until the evening before. My location was changed about 40 miles away. I had to travel about 45 mins to the location compared to 5 mins to the original location. Once I get to the new location, I was told my 20’ truck was not available after it was guaranteed. I had to call customer service to get the truck that was reserved for the weekend. I was also told of a discount which was never applied. I just ask to improve communication.
