The receptionist was very rude. This location did not have the equipment /fabric pads I reserved/pre-purchased a week ago and the attendant didn't apologize or thank me or offer to solve the problem. She had an attitude the whole time.

Vehicle was not clean. There was red clay residue on the back and inside the cargo area. The cabin was ashy looking with a strong smell of cigarettes. The left signal light went along with two tires that slowly leaked. I reported one tire at pickup and rep insisted it was okay without even coming out to examine the vehicle. The vehicle was parked the first day and we only drove it an hour before it was inoperable. The number listed to call rolled over to customer service and even uHaul headquarters could not contact this location so that they could assist in returning the faulty vehicle which they agreed was dangerous to drive any further. I actually had to purchase a second rental to complete business and was charged the full price for both. Horrible service. . . just horrible.

There were items left in the truck when I got it such as a hat & condiments from taco bell & the inside (floor) was dirty. The truck made noise that I had to endure the entire trip. Not to mention there were so many X on it. The counter service could have been a lil more friendly. It would also be nice to already have rented equipment on the truck. I also had a tough time backing it out due to where it was parked. The amount of money I paid, the overall service should hsve been better. I know its Uhaul, but maybe follow the car rental process if a customer is giving you over $500.

Customer service needs to be improved drastically. I was treated rudely by this location and not accommodated for uhauls changing of my reservation last minute. There needs to be clear and prompt communication about reservation changes and assistance for the companies mistakes.

Unable to call this center the next day to close out return. Phone hold time was ridiculous, Then when I got thru the phone line cut off! This happened twice on 45min, hold times. Makes me look for another rental provider next time.

The windshield was filthy, the low tire pressure indicator was illuminated, and wires were hanging down from the dashboard on the passenger side. I wanted to do a one-way due to my drop-off being 70 miles away, and was told by corporate to let them know when I checked in. At check-in, I was told that was impossible so I was charged an additional $0.79 for the 70 miles.

Picking it up was a pain. I set it up for the mobile pickup and the app was broken and they keys weren't in a place that it would work anyway and the ladies there where not that helpful. When returning the truck when trying to fill up the gas we realized that the cap was BROKEN and wouldn't come off. So we took it back, they had to pry it off and then told us to go back and put gas in it DESPITE the fact that the lady said she was going to "retire" the truck after we returned it. So I guess my gas money was just thrown away? It was a bad time because they sent us out with a BROKEN TRUCK had no grace to just let us return it due to their issue and the whole process was a nightmare. I'm hopeful the next time I move I won't have to use U-Haul.

Returned the trailer 2 hours early, 3:30pm. Was going to do the online check in but the attendant was present and offered to do the check-in. Afterwards I found that she charged a $20 after hours check-in fee. If I'd have known she was going to do that I would have just used the online check in service.

Other locations I've used, helped mount the trailer, helped me check lights and turn signals were working, etc. I also asked if they had a hitch pin I could purchase, but they didn't.

We ordered a hitch and trailer for the 2416 S Cobb Dr Smyrna, GA 30080 location. The reservation # was 21589068. We had an appointment for them to hook it up, when we go there they said the guy had left for the day. We were driving cross country the next day so had to rent a small Uhaul truck which ended up costing me another $1,4000. I wanted to do the hitch and trailer because it was about $400. In addition to not getting what I reserved I had to pay around $600 in gas to fill up the truck. I would of thought they would credit me since the switch to a truck was Uhaul's issue.

I made this reservation weeks in advance and when the day came to get the truck, it was almost impossible to find one. I was told by numerous uhaul to go to this location or that to find a 26'. In the end, we went all over Atlanta to three different locations trying to find something I resevrted weeks ago. We almost had to push our cross county move back because of the poor uhaul service and incompetence!! And no one even offered a discount or anything for the stress or extreme inconvenience you caused.

The vehicle was not cleaned, smelled of smoking, had literal tobacco and butts in the floorboard. The back cargo space was wet and leaked from the top, soaking a stack of my belongings. The tag on the tow trailer was ripped completely through and was NOT visible to any law enforcement. When I mentioned this to the attendant, she replied that "they all look like that" and when I asked about the possibility of being pulled over she replied that "it'll be fine". Overall, they were real nice, just not incredibly helpful.

Location and personnel were a pleasure to work with. Disappointed with miles per gallon on a lot of UHaul vehicles. Last month rented a 26 foot from a different location and it took $60.00 in fuel to return back to level of gas when first rented. Only put on 90 miles of travel. Uhaul should look for improved milage on their local trucks.

The location, itself, was fine (clean). The customer service person was sort of helpful, you could tell she didn't want to be there. They were helpful when I picked up the truck but not when I had a question about returning the truck. It was very close to closing time and they were leaving as I was coming in the door. I mean, it wouldn't have taken but a second to answer my question. They just ignored me and left. I get it, it was Sunday, and they wanted to leave, but a paying customer doesn't care about that when we need help. Another item of concern is the check-in process. Nowhere in the online reservation process does it tell you that upon pick-up of the truck, that you have to do a final verification; a call to a person that was answered and verified, a call to your employer that was answered and verified or a passport. Ok, on a Sunday afternoon, my employer cannot be called, not everyone has a passport on their person at all times, and what if no people were available to verify me? Thank goodness I had my friend with me, or I don't know what I would have done. If I had been told that I would need to be "verified" at time of online reservation, I would have been more prepared and wouldn't have had to be late to the people I was meeting with the truck. This process added another 15 minutes to the check-in process. Our time is precious, and we all have obligations to meet. Then when you finally get verified, you have to spend another 15 minutes taking pictures of the truck. I get it...but why are you paying the customer service person inside? They are just sitting there! The points I'd like to get across are these: 1. Customer Service…attitude is everything. The world has enough crap going on, we don't need more when we rent a U-Haul. 2. Clarify check-in process…customers need to be prepared to be “verified”! Gracias.

A polite tone of voice by manager is needed and And I felt harrassed and discriminated by this manager. Never in the years of renting uhaul had I been asked for the address where the truck would be at in case I stole it, or in her words, "in case you dont return it. I told her I had never been asked that and she insisted. And asked for an additional number of someone in case they can't reach me. Althewhile with a rude tone of voice.

The radiator hose came off 30 mins into driving. The axel rod was bent. We had to stop at another Uhaul location to have it fixed and radiator fluid refilled. The truck needs to be discontinued.

It was a fine experience. The van needed some basic maintenance and the cabin was not very clean but it got the job done. The person at the counter was helpful. Location services was not working on the website so checking in and out was frustrating.

The customer service was rather begrudging and perhaps even rude...as though I was causing them some major inconvenience by renting a truck, dolly, and furniture pads. After having another location fall through on the morning of my reserved rental, I would have thought that uhaul as a whole would find it in its best interest to treat customers very well after they have made a scheduling blunder. I'm quite dissatisfied with uhaul in general, and this location is not helping the problem.

Rude ! One of the associates wanted to argue with me about 2 gallons of gas and had a nasty attitude from the moment we spoke yesterday. Definitely a racist vibe from her as she nicely greeted her coworkers but didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in. I only drove 25 miles and put over 3.5 gallons of gas in the truck and had a receipt. I believe the fuel measurement was wrong before I drove but whatever. Apparently the trucks only get 8 miles per gallon! 8x3.5 is not 2 gallons worth missing! It just seemed like she wanted to charge me and I just believe the way she handled it was nasty. I will never use this facility again- they weren't busy and I see why.

This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a uhaul return. Who in their right mind would pick this place to return a trailer. What a shit show! Really! The lighting is poor. The parking lot too narrow to park anything larger than a compact car much less a 12ft trailer. The lot was on a fucking hill for god sake with no safe place to store a trailer without it rolling into the street. I had to use my hitch to chalk the tires so I could scrounge something on site to do the job. Please for safety sake don't ever use this place as a return for trailers.

The Jackson, MS Regional Office approved more time for me to unload but the drop off location still charged late fees even though he did not check the equipment in until two or three days later after the Atlanta Regional Office accused me of not turning in the equipment at all. I gave them the drop off location address and then new charges appeared on my account without any consideration of me being approved to drop off the truck late, and after the two trailers were turned in by me a day early because I do not know Atlanta well enough to tow trailers around the city. I simply need to be refunded about $110.00 that the Jackson, MS office promised me. And this has nothing to do with the $230.00 that was refunded from the pickup location in Clarksdale, Mississippi who charged a different price in person than what was reserved online.

Customer service was good. The lady at the counter was very efficient. But they didn't have any moving blankets as I had requested. The biggest problem was the parking. The lot was too small and there was no proper truck parking or area to fully inspect the vehicle. I will not use this location again.
