I had to wait 15 minutes for customer service to call me back because the website would not recognize that I was at the location. The service rep suggested several tips that failed. I finally downloaded the app which then finally allowed me to retrieve my rental van. I also found the return to be too time-consuming and outdated.Robert B.

We were in an accident and were not at fault. The other driver barley blew under the legal limit. I paid for the coverage on the rental YET I was charged more fees on top of the overall price. I called the number customer service had given me FIVE TIMES and even left a voicemails requesting call back and received nothing. Now today I have gotten a letter dated December 3rd in the mail asking for more insurance information despite having already providing such and within this letter it states if we do not return this letter within 10 days we will be sued!?! I am going to discourage my fellow healthcare professionals from renting from uhaul for their frequent moves.Morgan H.

Location was one hour from where we had requested our rental. The reservation process is flawed and not customer friendly. I had to spend 1.5 hours on the phone (at my initiative) to even find a vehicle despite having made a reservation weeks in advance.William L.

I can't tell you how thoroughly pleased I was with you all. The van was fantastic it only took 10 minutes to check out Audrey was wonderful. I liked everything so much I wanna head and rented a storage unit. I highly recommend you guys. Oh one other thing; I rented the cloths to put around my items and the bundles were only five dollars that incredibly reasonable price took me over the top. I'll forever be a customer!Douglas W.

the truck was dirty. it has so many bugs on the windshield and allover. i doubt that they even did the disinfection for covid-19. very bad experience with driving the truck as it had lot of vibration and noise.Rajinder G.

I saw a small advertisement in the van that stated you receive a free month's rent for storage space if you rent the van. We did so, but no one mentioned the first month's free rental advantage. That may be because two different family members transacted with the storage facility. The space was reserved the day before we rented the van. Is it possible that we could still receive the first month's storage fee free offer? Thanks.Sharon C.
I used the online pickup for the rental truck. It took me almost an hour, stood in front of the key lockbox, before I got the key out. The process are not intuitive, and there was no online instructions. Very confusing. I will not use it again.Stephen L.

The office was locked with a hand written sign saying â€œwill be back at 2:45.â€ My pickup time was 2pm and I waited for service for over an hour. My truck was also not out front as directed. I was told to drive around the building to the caged area to find my truck. The employee was extremely unprofessional and did not even apologize for blowing off my pickup time. Because the employee was not at the location I missed other pickup appointments and had others waiting elsewhere. I will not be returning to this location and will be looking at other alternatives for truck rental during a move.Kellen S.

The pic up process with the app is much worse than advertised. With apps, and photos, and calling a friend, and a van with no blankets but McDonald's garbage. I'll rent from someone other than U-Haul next time.Christopher C.

Maybe you can pass along this note to the correct person -- I have always provided my drivers license when renting a van at the Compass facility. Last Friday I was required to allow my drivers license to be copied into the system. I was told this was to prohibit van theft and was a new U-Haul policy. I was very uncomfortable with this new arrangement and may need to make other arrangements not with U-Haul in the future due to this new policy.Christine D.

I was charged for not folding the furniture blankets, which had not been explained when I asked for blankets and there was nothing in the contract about it. When I asked to get blankets, I was told that there were six blankets in the truck that I would be charged for using them when I returned the truck. At that moment it would have been appropriate to explain that they needed to be folded to avoid additional charges, similar to the manner in which gasoline fill up charges were explained. When I called to inquire about it, I was told that there was a sign in the truck regarding use of the blankets that I was supposed to read. Other than that, the customer service was excellent.Ghassan K.
