I was charged an extra $2.70 because I went over 6 miles. The guy wouldn't listen that the reason I was over was my pick up location was closed and my second pick up location was further away. He said I would have to bring it up with uhaul. Not worth the hassle.Ronald E.

Person who received the vehicle was in his cell phone the whole time chatting with a friend. There was nowhere to park and junky looking vehicles all around the drop off spot.Douglas R.
Reservation was made online for a contactless, after hours pickup at a different location in town. The day before the reservation, we got a call saying that the truck we requested was only available at the location across townâ€"still fine to pick up at 6 am. Upon arrival at 6 am, the truck was indeed NOT prepared for mobile pick up. We had to wait TWO HOURS for the office to open (which, even then, the employee was not available right at 8). No apology, no reimbursement for the trouble, nothing. Absolutely will not use UHaul again.DUSTIN W.
I can't think of any ideas for improvement. The good folks at this UHaul terminal had my rental truck ready, and processing the transaction was done quickly & professionally. They met me at the time to return the truck, and made sure everything went smoothly. I would recommend this UHaul location to anyone.Jeffrey T.

This person argued with me and tried to charge me for a extra day that uhaul had given me. He did not want to hear anything regarding problems with the truck or the trailer. He argued with me because a dolly i rented had a different number on it then what was on my receipt (of what i had no idea) i was charged 13.00 dollars because the gas guage was a hair off. And, incidentally the truck was out to be rented less than a hour after i dropped it off. No maintenance was ever done to it.JOHN K.

The gentleman was rude. The hotel was dingy. He charged me for insurance when I did not want insurance, and I asked multiple times if it was necessary and he responded yes every time, that it was required. To find out at the drop off location it was not required to have it. Also told me that I have to bring it back on half a tank which it only had a quarter in itDUSTIN S.

Rented a 26' and the location had 2 one new and one old, we asked for the new one and he said "that is for advertisement" and then handed us the keys to a very old truck with no cruise control and you had to fight it from going off the road.Patrick J.

First off this location is surrounded by drug addiction in a SUPER run down motel. Secondly the Uhaul â€œrepâ€ who owned the hotel was super rude. Next, there was sooooo much cigarette ash and what appeared to be marijuana pieces left all over the cab. The inside was dirty. The truck key does not unlock the driver door you had to enter through the passenger. We had to wait an additional 45 minutes after signing the contract to move the truck because of where they had it parked was blocked in by a residents car. We have used Uhaul so many times and this was by far the worst.Samuel F.

Tried to return the trailer due to my car not starting to put on the racks, when I went to try and return it I was told that since 10 minutes had passed I could only get a 30% refund. Ended up getting a handful of friends to help push the car onto the racks and then had to do the same to get it off, but it was an extremely frustrating experience and was not even 30min from when I rented the trailer. The only reason I took so long was due to trying to charge my battery and get the car to start which it would not and I didn't have enough money to get a new battery. Extremely difficult situation and the manager was not very helpful in the matter. Would not recommend. In addition I tried to reserve the trailer the prior day and drove up from Huntsville, AL but the phone reservation was apparently not good enough and they no longer had one when I got up there.PHILIP W.

The man and wife at the Columbia Inn were very nice, but I was told to be at one U-Haul place in Spring Hill. No one showed up there. Then I was contacted by the manager at the Columbia Inn to come to the Columbia Inn, which was much farther away. The staff were nice, but I would have preferred a closer location to get the U-Haul and take it back.ROBERT B.

Manager was very helpful. First time I had used tow package on my car, so stopped by the location a couple days early to check out lights and hitch. He hooked up lights and hitch to confirm that I was good to go. Location is easy in and out. I highly recommend.Bruce D.

The man that runs this place should NOT be allowed to represent your company! He was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to me & tried to tell me that if I didn't do what he said, that he was going to make sure that I was charged additional fees! I had to travel with the truck to another location to pick up the car trailer. This counted against my total miles, and took extra fuel. I would have preferred to pick up both pieces of equipment at one uhaul location. The worker at this location was otherwise helpful and professionalKENNETH L.

A little info on wipers pulling the tab if there is ice or snow...locations and use. Otherwise the lady in columbia was very nice, and helpful and informational. The truck was great and the ride was much smoother then other trucks I have driven.Mary T.

Need to have proper sign which directs to uhaul office. It took me to find the office with multiple properties there in same premises. I found the truck but to get the keys at office I was wondering for 15 minutes to locate the office. The truck was having some issues with multiple types of noises and braking was not good either.BHAVIK P.

I arrived early (7:45 am) at the pick-up location that was supposed to be open at 8 am. I waited until 8:15 am before anybody arrived. The Uhaul location was inside the lobby of a not so pleasant and sketchy hotel. The lady that helped me was nice. The truck was free of any trash, but the floors were dirty and with mud stains. The gas tank was below the signed contract (1/4 instead of 1/2). This required further documentation and a call to Uhaul Customer Services. Overall, I got what I needed to get done, used the truck, and everything worked out. But I did not enjoy the service due to the reasons mentioned above. I would NOT recommend this location to a friend.Irving L.
Uncomfortable location...had to stand outside to do all paperwork. I was switched to this location after booking for the Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN location because I was moving property from that storage facility, making renting there the most convenient. Mr. Patel needs to be retrained in customer service. His customer service is the worst I've ever seen. He was rude on the phone demanding we picked up and returned the truck as soon as they opened. He told me someone was waiting on that specific truck I was returning. When I got there there was another 10 ft uhaul waiting to be rented and no one there waiting for a truck. I will never get or recommend anyone a uhaul from the Columbia Inn.Cassie G.

My son and friend drove the truck and got to the drop off location before me. Owner and his wife came out and were extremely rude, accused my son of stealing the blankets that we wanted to rent but were not given by the rental pickup location. When I got there, I explained this to the owner. He didn't believe me at first but then said he would take care of the issue. Guess what... I got a bill for the blankets! This is so wrong and I will be contacting UHaul directly.Beth C.
