We reserve the trailer on line and addressed all questions thru the portal. When we picked the trailer up, the store owner made us answer all the questions again, and then charged us for insurance even though we had elected not to carry it online. I want my $50 refunded for insurance.Henry H.

I will NEVER go back to this location. I will not use Uhaul, if I can find an alternate solution. This was a damn nightmare from the start. Reserved trailer was not available, wrong ID number entered at from location making it impossible to rent at reserved location, hours wasted on the phone and at the location. I have been trying to contact you guys for days now! My name is Tiara Gordon. I have never been more disrespected in my life after visiting this location. I will never recommend this location to anyone!!!!! The worker himself was very racist!!! He asked for my lease for me to even rent a uhaul not only that told me he didn't have any with 6 vehicles were there!!! He then allowed a white customer to skip me not only did he not ask them for a lease but he also used a credit card this man had written on a paper and he told him it was a friend card he didn't get any proof or anything but he gave me hell getting a uhaul I had already reserved this location need to be shut down completely before y'all catch a law suit!!!!!Tiara G.

Forced to get AT (flatbed car hauler) equipment from here, due to it not being available at main Uhaul location in Oglethorpe. Had to wait for clerk to finish packing the lotto vending machine, then was assigned an AT that was blocked by a trailer (completed pre-rental condition text based on new AT# assignment after that, even though updated text was never received). Then (at the last minute!) I was asked for â€˜proof of address, other than my license (which does have my current address on same). I told him that, not only was this not asked from me at other locations, I wasn't in the habit of carrying utility bills inside my vehicle and I live 45 minutes away! He insisted I needed to produce something, Uhaul rules, recent changes, blah, blah, blah. All I could find was an invoice from local service dealer for my truck, which he took picture of. Why this location is assigned with at least 4 of these and the main location has none is beyond me! I asked if I could return equipment to main location and he said I'd be charged extra if I did. I did return it at Oglethorpe location and was NOT charged extra, at all.VILMA R.

The college corner uhaul location has been by far one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever had the misfortune of attending. The manager was poorly informed on the terms and conditions of the company of which he is a part, and told me that I would be unable to be refunded for the gas that I returned the truck on, after renting it out on E. The most ironic part is that college corner is a gas station so it makes no sense for them to be giving patrons empty uhauls. Secondly, I believe he went as far as to reprimand a dedicated worker that contradicted his ignorant no refund comment. I suggest looking into the credibility of this location, because this manager could be cheating several other patrons as well. Fortunately I spoke with customer service who corrected the issue, but even her attitude was reprehensible. Patricia Nanoo simply hung up the phone without resolution. I will not be using uhaul again for any of my moving experiences.Talia S.

If the location is open for business then they ought to be able to handle Uhaul customers as well. He was very nice and asked me to write down all of the information and it would checked in at 9 am. This was at 7 am. My $3.20 additional mileage should of been deducted from my environmental fee. Will I use Uhaul again? Probably if I can opt out of the environmental fee. If the founder and his decendants want to donate to a charity....great...go ahead out of their pockets but not at the added expense of their customers. Just a thought.DONALD C.

It was a 2 hour process to get the u-haul. Missing key, check engine light on, had to talk to multiple people at u-haul. Maybe the worst experience with a company in my life. I have honestly considered contacting my lawyer due to the careless and negligent manner in which you treat customers. You cost me time and money. It originally began with needing a hitch and a trailer, which was never completed. So I had to rent a truck and my spouse had to take off work to drive the truck because I cannot drive two vehicles at once. U-haul (Sharon in Columbus, GA) apologized for that and claimed that I would get $50 for those issues, which never happened. The run around over the truck had my card charged twice because of two different contracts and finally refunded the first one included the $50 guarantee (Thank you Classica Williams!!) for all of the various issues. Which we did get that time, but had to wait days for it to return to my bank account. I am glad I had enough funds or I would not have been able to rent it at all. Classica Williams is a complete rock star and should get a bonus based on the customer care she gave. I would love the $50 I was told I would get. I don't think the guy who runs that location gives one cent of care for your business and the customers you have however the bald guy with a braided beard went above and beyond with a system he knows nothing about to help me. You make millions a year, fix your issues, clean up your trucks and invest in you employees!john D.

U-haul should keep pick up/ drop offs at actual U-haul locations only. I reserved my truck at a u-haul location, checked in online and uploaded my driver's license online( still had to show), but still had to wait an hour to pick up the truck. They had to make phone calls about my reservation because he didn't know how to do something. While waiting, he didn't say why I was waiting, he said "it'll be just a second ma'am " may have said that twice the entire time while I'm waiting. He also had to ring up 2-3 customers while I'm waiting for a u-haul I reserved on January 4, 2021. Also he had to put gas in the truck, which should have been done. The wait time was entirely too long for a truck I made reservations for a week ahead of time and made sure I followed all instructions about my information to NOT have to wait over an hour. Pick up was at 10:00 am, I got there at 9:45am and left around 10:50am. He was nice but I in the future I prefer to deal U-haul employees/ stores only, because my transaction would have been way quicker and truck would have had gas in it before I got there. The truck was clean and in very good condition.MACHELE D.

First, I had a reservation for another location and that location there was no one there. I called 800-uhaul and they sent me to this location. I arrived before they closed and was told that the person that did U-Haul was already gone for the day. I said well you to call them and tell them that I am here to pickup my rental. Used the app to expadit the getting of the truck which directed me to go into the business. Received good customer service when getting the key. However when returning the truck the customer service was not very good. Was left standing at the counter by one employee who didn't acknowledge me nor did she advise me to wait on an other employee. Also had issues with the app as it would not let me change the millage on checking out nor upload pictures.PAUL S.

I called location to let them know I would be 2 hours late due to being delayed on the highway. I picked up the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and returned it with close to 3/4 tank, but given no credit for giving them extra gas. I was charged an extra day for everything, just for the truck to sit in their parking lot during the extra day I was charged for. I've rented several Uhaul trucks in the past year to haul items to our property in Valdosta and I was delayed another time, but called to let the location know and wasn't charged. I called this location ahead of time as well. There were several trucks sitting in the tiny parking lot when I returned the truck, so it wasn't like anyone was waiting on it. I'll never rent from this location again. It's a sketchy convenience store that I wouldn't normally feel safe to go to anyway. They will never get another penny from me or my family.Ann E.

It is sad we had to drive an hour and 15 mins to get a uhaul because it was Sunday. We live in Tifton Ga and there are a few places that do uhaul but one open had no trucks at all. And the other places were all closed. Do er had to drive to Albany Ga to get a truck. Other than that got the truck very clean. The people that rented it to us were nice and handled it quickly. I was not happy when Uhaul wanted to send me 30 minutes out the way to Moultrie, GA to pick up a truck. When I go through a major town of Albany and to ask for them to book me a Uhaul there. The location was not in the best part of town and it was in a busy gas station. I was not happy when I got to the location that I had to wait for the gentleman to input my information when I made a reservation. It took him over 30 minutes for me to get my rental truck. He said that we did not have an appliance dolly reserved. We had to pay for it separately. The gentleman did apologize for it and said my information was not right in the system. Overall, the gentleman was nice, the location was terrible and Uhaul is not helpful over the phone.Natisha B.
I am from Ohio in front of a car truck at 3pm, seeing that it was not useful to transport the car, so it returned at around 4pm. and they did not want to accept it and they had me as a PIM pom ball between two nearby locations and neither wanted to accept it that I returned it in Ohio. Uhaul app was not working and caused a lot of wasted time. Also info that had been put into the uhaul system was not accurate. Somehow it added a dolly and blankets which store owner said he would take off. Of course when I dropped off the person was not there and when I called in the morning to make sure she didn't charge me she had already done the bill. So another phone call to get a credit sent. Almost like they were trying to add to the bill. I knew this location was not the best so I spent extra time online to make it easier, didn't work out at all. Wasted time on both.john S.
