The scheduler and I had a miscommunication on whether this rental was an "in town" or "one way" When I went to turn in the truck, I was told I would have to pay a fee because I wasn't returning it to the pick up location. Not the schedulers fault, not mine either. Just a miscommunication. Uhaul customer service worked with me to change the initial rental and since I had the truck an extra day, I incurred the daily rental fee. However, by working with customer service and changing my rental after explaining the miscommunication, I am very satisfied with my rental experience and customer service help to correct the miscommunication.

Rental was great! The only unresolved issue was a printed receipt. The guy working the desk over Labor Day weekend didn’t have a key to the office where the paper for the printer was kept. He emailed me a copy—so I’m good- but that guy should get some keys because he was awesome!

I was not able to move in. I was not told what time they closed, I wasn't given any instructions on how to move in without personal being there so I had to get storage unit elsewhere. I called

Dealing with customer service was an atrocity. Rep was rude and unhelpful with our situation. Made us two reservations and one to an inaccurate location. Very dissatisfied.

We were pleased that Jose the Manager was able to get us a van on the same morning we walked in. He had one ready and we were on our way quickly. We would recommend this U haul location to our friends and will use it again in the future!

Considering this is the SECOND contract in MY NAME that I DID NOT rent I rate this UHaul location HORRIBLE. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMER INFORMATION. The last time you put me with someone else’s drivers license number AND credit card info....this time my name AGAIN with someone else’s info. I am sorry I ever rented from this location. Seriously how many more contracts will show up under my name??? Remove me from your system I DO not give permission to keep putting my name out there!

The truck was filthy! inside and out, the dash was so dusty, windshield was full of dried bugs, steering wheel was sticky and all the cup holders were disgusting. I was treated with disrespect and talked down on. When I requested Uhaul honor the price quoted by the 800 agent I was treated poorly. The rep did apologize when I came to pick up the truck but then got salty again when I dropped it off.

I originally booked at A to Z rentals which is closer to my house and U-Haul transferred me to this location - which would be okay, but but I had to pay 89 cents a mile for the extra mileage. The Clearwater location is okay, but the truck had not been swept out and the blankets were unfolded. Not a problem, because they did not charge me when I returned them in the same condition. I would not recommend them only because I had a better experience at the A to Z rentals location previously.

Where to start? In a long winded nutshell I’d like to say the truck I got was brand new and had juice spilled on the seat and floor before I got it. There were also 2 dents- one on the side and one on the back bumper- the truck only had 3500 miles on it so it was very nice, given whoever drove it last left some lasting marks. I was told the damage didn’t need to be documented because I opted to get insurance for the trip because my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Oh- that was a fun one at the receiving end finding out that it would be turned into insurance stating me as the driver as the cause of the damage, but it wouldn’t go on my record!!! That really upsets me! I DIDN’T CAUSE IT!!!!! I am upset I was told it didn’t matter and then to find out it did, in a way. Also making the reservation I was VERY clear I needed the truck at 0900! When I arrived to pick it up I was told I was early- although the truck was there. Anyway, that all worked out, no biggie but I was coming in from out of town to help move a family member and MY TIME was very important because of scheduling movers to help at 1000! So, you need to double if not triple check everything!!! Plus I HIGHLY SUGGEST taking a video of the truck even if you get insurance. They need to take the time and do things right. Just glad the move is over.

I specifically asked for the $14 coverage and the guy literally looked at me and said yes that’s what I put on it. When I got my invoice on my email today I noticed he charged me $28 for coverage. That’s horrible customer service.

Be transparent about what you are charging! I would like an honest straightforward answer as to why these extra charges for gas were added to my bill? When you rented it to me it was on fumes!!!!!

The staff is amazing and very kind. I enjoyed working with pleasant folks while I was in a stressful move. I would recommend this facility to anyone who has storage needs. The location is very nice.
