Average storage facility. Person running office didn't quite know all the ins and outs of my agreement. I reserved hand trucks and blankets and nothing was avail. when I checked in. Would have been nice to get a phone call or email letting me know this so I could make other arrangements. Got no direction on how to operate truck and it was the biggest in fleet. Never driven this size before but I figured it out OK.

Clearwater location, Great caring people. After hours corporate help needs lots of help. Physically. I was on hold for over 25 minutes. Aslo hold music volume is too high. One ca't hear themselves think. Tone it down to a background sound, not a blaring volume sound.

The manager cared about what I was tying to do and took the time to get me what I needed, when I needed it.

I put 2 gallons of gas in the uhaul and it was returned with more gas in it than when I drove it off the lot, yet I was charged $17 for 4 gallons of gas when I only drove the uhaul 7 total miles so my 2 gallons should have been MORE than enough.

The scheduler and I had a miscommunication on whether this rental was an "in town" or "one way" When I went to turn in the truck, I was told I would have to pay a fee because I wasn't returning it to the pick up location. Not the schedulers fault, not mine either. Just a miscommunication. Uhaul customer service worked with me to change the initial rental and since I had the truck an extra day, I incurred the daily rental fee. However, by working with customer service and changing my rental after explaining the miscommunication, I am very satisfied with my rental experience and customer service help to correct the miscommunication.

Rental was great! The only unresolved issue was a printed receipt. The guy working the desk over Labor Day weekend didn’t have a key to the office where the paper for the printer was kept. He emailed me a copy—so I’m good- but that guy should get some keys because he was awesome!

We were pleased that Jose the Manager was able to get us a van on the same morning we walked in. He had one ready and we were on our way quickly. We would recommend this U haul location to our friends and will use it again in the future!

Considering this is the SECOND contract in MY NAME that I DID NOT rent I rate this UHaul location HORRIBLE. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMER INFORMATION. The last time you put me with someone else’s drivers license number AND credit card info....this time my name AGAIN with someone else’s info. I am sorry I ever rented from this location. Seriously how many more contracts will show up under my name??? Remove me from your system I DO not give permission to keep putting my name out there!

The truck was filthy! inside and out, the dash was so dusty, windshield was full of dried bugs, steering wheel was sticky and all the cup holders were disgusting. I was treated with disrespect and talked down on. When I requested Uhaul honor the price quoted by the 800 agent I was treated poorly. The rep did apologize when I came to pick up the truck but then got salty again when I dropped it off.

I originally booked at A to Z rentals which is closer to my house and U-Haul transferred me to this location - which would be okay, but but I had to pay 89 cents a mile for the extra mileage. The Clearwater location is okay, but the truck had not been swept out and the blankets were unfolded. Not a problem, because they did not charge me when I returned them in the same condition. I would not recommend them only because I had a better experience at the A to Z rentals location previously.

Where to start? In a long winded nutshell I’d like to say the truck I got was brand new and had juice spilled on the seat and floor before I got it. There were also 2 dents- one on the side and one on the back bumper- the truck only had 3500 miles on it so it was very nice, given whoever drove it last left some lasting marks. I was told the damage didn’t need to be documented because I opted to get insurance for the trip because my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Oh- that was a fun one at the receiving end finding out that it would be turned into insurance stating me as the driver as the cause of the damage, but it wouldn’t go on my record!!! That really upsets me! I DIDN’T CAUSE IT!!!!! I am upset I was told it didn’t matter and then to find out it did, in a way. Also making the reservation I was VERY clear I needed the truck at 0900! When I arrived to pick it up I was told I was early- although the truck was there. Anyway, that all worked out, no biggie but I was coming in from out of town to help move a family member and MY TIME was very important because of scheduling movers to help at 1000! So, you need to double if not triple check everything!!! Plus I HIGHLY SUGGEST taking a video of the truck even if you get insurance. They need to take the time and do things right. Just glad the move is over.

I specifically asked for the $14 coverage and the guy literally looked at me and said yes that’s what I put on it. When I got my invoice on my email today I noticed he charged me $28 for coverage. That’s horrible customer service.

Be transparent about what you are charging! I would like an honest straightforward answer as to why these extra charges for gas were added to my bill? When you rented it to me it was on fumes!!!!!

Guy showed up 10 minutes late to open business. Took him a while to find where keys to truck were. Truck was filthy, dirty windshield , window left down so door was full of water that splashed all over me, had to ask the guy to sweep out the truck because it was dirty too.

Again, my service experience was very good. I spoke to local representative by telephone and was offered a after-hours drop which worked much better with my schedule. Parking at night was well lite with the key drop clearly marked and easy to use. Final receipt was emailed to me in a timely manner. Excellent representative of Uhaul Rentals.

Your manager was friendly and competent and was very helpful. The online check-in for returned equipment was poorly designed and didn't work right, even by calling the 1-800 number and trying to complete the process with a live person. I was returning the trailer after hours and had to wait till the next business day to complete it.

I scheduled this rental online and the pick up location was at A to Z rentals. Even my confirmation showed this location. It took A to Z rentals almost an hour to figure out that somehow the trailer was at a different location. Both locations told me that there is a glitch in Uhaul system that always mixes these two locations. It was a very frustrating an inconvenient experience.

Had a flat tire. All the tires were old and cracking. Later on, had another tire start to separate with a baseball sized bulge on the tire. You guys need to make sure to maintain the trailers better and safe for people to use. GET INSURANCE! YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU HAVE IT!!!

Rented a truck last weekend from this location. Truck was dirty and had rock/gravel in it. Didn’t realize until I drove away that the gas and mileage was different then the paperwork they gave me. They had me confirm everything in a text link before I actually got in the truck. The paperwork said the truck had a 1/4 tank (which is not much gas to begin with), but in fact it was 1/8 of a tank. So not only did I have to get gas right away, but I had to fill it up more then I got it. The paperwork also had a few miles less then what was actually on the odometer. It almost seemed like someone used the truck for a rock/landscaping project off the books. Not happy with the experience and I will not use this location again.

Trailer had defects that there were no recorded pictures of. Couple broken light brackets. It’s just when there aren’t any pics on file it doesn’t make you feel week about using a well used trailer. Other then that it went ok and handled promptly .

The online rental return is too much. The drop off location stated that they close at 4pm. We were there before that time. We ended up having to do the return online. We returned the rental a day early even though we knew we will not get a credit for it.

The location opened 15 minutes late. Then, after dropping off the vehicle in the lot and the key in the dropbox, I received an angry call from the location manager 4 days later accusing me of losing the key and threatening to charge me. Uhaul corporate was kind enough to help me out. First time with a bad Uhaul experience like this.
