At drop off the lady was on the computer and continued to tell me for 10 minutes about what was in the news that day, turning her computer towards me to see it. It is moving day, I really don't care what is happening in the news. Then she gives me three choices of where to park the trailer. Two of them were way too small, absolutely no way that trailer would fit and the one we put it into left only an inch or two on each side. (the lot was very large with many spots that would be easy to park it in). She messed up the return paperwork and had to call in to fix it which took even more. time. This probably wouldn't have been such a big deal if I didn't have to hear about the news beforehand. Once again I put not applicable to recommending this location because it is the only location in that city.

Dropoff location was a busy 'corner' type store, only 1 staff member on. Had to wait multiple times to finish returning my equipment as "the store comes first". Was asked to park my trailer and truck myself instead of just dropping off. Took over a half hour from the time i arrived until I was finally able to leave with my return signed off on.

The online drop off option did not work for me and the 20$ convenience fee is unreasonable. This fee was also not clear at initial pick up. Luckily the service person was reasonable and helped me with this. Uhaul needs to be more transparent about thier fees

The owner of the business should NOT be dealing with customers. I had a photo of when I signed out the truck with miles and gas and when I came back and signed in, I did the same thing. Owner advised when I signed out it said 3/8s full and when I brought back it was a needle width over the 1/4 gas. I showed her the pics to show I brought back same as taken out, and I had advised the person who marked me out put a note on file indicating it was not 3/8s full when taken. The owner replied that that wasn't how it was done and charged me an addition $29.68 for gas - to fill up one needle worth more, beyond the 1/4 mark (it was back to where it had been, already)? Unheard of. I lost my temper and swore at the woman, who wouldn't listen, wouldn't accept the photos I had with the miles and gas gage when checked out and checked in. She screamed at me to get out of her shop or she was phoning the cops. Then, she sends me a receipt by email and she has signed under customer signature....not even my signature on the contract, her imitation!!!! I am letting the whole world know - "do not ever rent from Williams Lake Uhaul, you are treated like crap if you deal with the business owner". (The first woman who checked me out was pleasant and was the one who suggested to take the picture of out and in and she advised she would leave a comment on the file that it wasn't 3/8s full when taken.) The owner woman would not consider any of this, just said that isn't how we do it at uhaul, we go out and check with our eyes. This is the worst treatment I have ever received dealing with a service where the customer is supposed to be given fair play, at the least. To improve for the next customer, I would suggest having someone else be your uhaul representative.

That they listen to what you tell them. I had a 6x12 trailer to drop off. I had it an extra day and a half, which I had to pay for and everything went wrong from there. They are trying to charge me for a truck u-haul and not just a 6x12 trailer. They are also trying to charge me over $2,000 dollars. Still fighting to get this shit straightened out, when All I owe really is over $80.00. I am so fed up right now, I could scream. Have always used u-haul to move, but this experience I am going through right now. I will not use u- haul again.

Make sure you have the right size unit available when people book it so you don't show up the might before move day expecting a 26 foot truck to leave with a 20 foot and have to deal with paying another mover with a trailer... Uhaul is a nightmare and a joke and I will make sure everyone I know gets to hear about my experience. My mom move in November with uhaul and sister 2 weeks ago with a uhaul and nothing but disorganization. I'm not impressed your company is a joke

Staff were not very helpful when I called with questions as to which trucks were available and said all booking should be done online. after booking on line but having issues with the on site tasks, I called U-Haul and they were very helpful and spoke with the on-site staff who then did a very good job of completing the booking on their computer.

Staff were really busy i had to wait while they attended customers for the store. Uhaul terminal would not accept debit therefore i had to get cash from the atm which charged me a fee. Took over 2 to return the uhaul.

Customer check in was slow, due to system issues, not the employee. It took me 65 minutes to check out my trailer and I did register online with ALL the info, from DL to vehicle info. This needs to be more streamlined.

We did not receive the truck we booked and only found out the night before which resulted in 2 trips instead of one. They also did not have have a dolly available which we booked online as well. We were also charged for the dolly they we did not receive. Unfortunately it’s the only location in Williams lake so we had to deal with what we had.

The clerk did her best, but being one person serving customers for the store plus UHaul is naturally problematic. The computer crashed once, my card was declined, (computer glitch continuing) but was accepted later when the boss keyed it in from home. When the poor clerk phoned the 1-800 number they told her they receive 800 calls an hour and couldn't help her. I ended up being charged more than once for the entire trip. Three times. U-Haul 1 800 were amazing to deal with on my end. I'd booked it for next year by mistake and the woman fixed that at 11:30 pm the night before pick up. The gas gauge read incorrectly, and we took a picture of it and told the clerk at pick up and showed her, clerk passed that on to National yet we were charged upon drop off. The Okanagan manager called within minutes of my lodging a complaint about the gas charge with 1-800, who then filed my complaint. Again, super service. My credit card was credited immediately. However, despite being told two of my charges were being refunded by today, I have not received any email regarding those yet.

The clerk was rude and from what it looked like had no idea what she was doing. Over one hour to drop off with most of that time being ignored. Her comments to me, my loyalty is to handi mart customers not uhaul, these systems are complicated no wonder no one whats to do it its a pain in the neck. You will have to wait, many times this was said. On this move I still needed to rent another truck for the rest of our belongings, because of this location and it being the only one in town , I went with Budget.
