I wasn't notified in advance that half of my reservation had been changed to a different location. Totally acceptable!!!! I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone.

James A.Maybe have an entrance that can accommodate multiple Uhaul returns at the same time. We went to return ours and it is a small parking area on a downhill slope with a gated entrance. There was no one there Sunday they are closed I understand. Trying to park a 26 foot truck with a auto transport was a act of God to make sure it didn't block anyone or entrance or access to areas. I think someone needs to be there to at least direct traffic being a busy road entrance with other businesses there too.

Wade W.Someone in the truck maintenance should check the muffler and exhaust. The truck was really loud in the cab and with the vent there were exhaust fumes noticeable. And you may want to mention the tow/haul button on the end of the shift arm as the truck runs smoother and gets better mileage when the tow/haul feature is off simply by pushing the button. Thank you for your Customerservice! Excellent!!

DARIN T.Gate was open when I drive in and left trailer but locked when I went to leave. Called voice box and emerge NC u jubilee and never got a call back or contact. Luckily the yard mower people let me out of locked gate. I was stuck and would have expected at least a phone call .
John K.I was charged an extra days rent for the trailer even though I didn't use it but one day. I had company leaving town Monday morning so I wasn't able to drop the trailer off at start of business - I asked him if I'd be charged since I was an hour late and he said no and not to worry about it. I received an email 15 minutes later showing the extra charge on my credit card. Not a happy camper!

Dionne C.The online checkin and pre-pay was worthless, given that they required me to submit all of that information again once I arrived to pick up the trailer. They even tried to make may pay again, when I had already paid for it days in advance. It was as though they had ZERO information about any of that except for my name and having a trailer available for me to pick up. When you've already pre-registered, and are expecting to connect and go first thing in the morning as a way to start off a very long day of moving, it is an awful customer experience to arrive, only to find that none of the pre-work you did to facilitate all of that did anything at all, and you've got to go through the whole routine again. To make matters worse, I had selected a drop off point via the U-haul website and when I arrived there I was told "we no longer accept Uhaul drop drop offs. They pointed me to the new drop off point, which was a totally unmanned, sandlot, filled to the gills with Uhaul trailers and hardly any room to park another one without some serious trailer-backing skills. To make matters worse, the trailer I rented was so heavy that it was virtually impossible to disconnect it by myself, which left me searching the property to find something to lever it off the hitch. After disconnecting, I went by another Uhaul location to tell them I had dropped the trailer off, they seemed totally uninterested. The whole thing was unprofessional, inconvenient, and bizarre. For all I know, someone could come steal that trailer (or one of the hundreds of others) and somehow I'd be on the hook for not returning it. A truly miserable customer experience occurring at the end of a long two days of moving.

What a “sweat box†it became. All the way to St. Louis 7 hours. Not a happy camper. I feel this could have been avoided by a honest checkup process.

Wasn't a pleasant experience afterall and won't do it again unless I had no other options.
