Wasn’t the locations fault but when returning the uhaul after hours the online return site kept crashing. But customer service was helpful.

I had a hard time contacting the franchise in Chelan, WA Not sure why; maybe the cell service is bad at that location. But the fact is, I was nervous about the drop off because I could not reach anyone at that location over several days (no way to leave a voice message or text or any way to contact at all). We finally decided to drive to the location to ensure that everything was set up as planned.

your company is so messed up I don’t even know where to start. All I can say is that I hope that I never have to use UHaul again. Where I picked up the trailer I didn’t even get a hand. The boss didn’t even come out to check the trailer hookup. Fortunately I know what I am doing.

It is not a full service location. Rented a 6x12 random trailer. We did not have the strength to lift the tongue of the trailer . We were directed to the trailer by saying if is out there and pointing. If another younger stronger customer had not been there we would never been able to connect to our truck .

Was not aware that when renting a vehicle by the day that the day meant it had to be returned by 5pm the day it was picked up. I assumed that there was 24 hours in a "day". I was able to keep it until 8 pm instead of 5pm. Brought it back at 8pm. The procedure for return after hours included using a mobile device to login to system for return. I don't have a smart phone, so I logged in using the link from my home computer. There was nothing on the screen to tell me how to do the return. Had to have my son do it with his smart phone. Maybe rental rates need to be in some sort of hourly increments - 4,8, 24 hours or something. Loading, driving 35 miles, unloading and driving back would have been a problem in the 7.5 hours I was originally given. Also an electronic drop box on the building that would time stamp the return when you get there would be a better idea for returns. The people at this location are great.

I was guaranteed delivery by Friday, 8/9. I called on Saturday 8/10 and was told my boxes were still in transit and could not get any information on where they were or when the would arrive. I was then told I would receive a $50 credit per box per day for every day late they were and that I would be contacted as soon as they arrived. I was also given a number for scheduling, but nobody ever answered. I did not here anything until I received an email invoice on Tuesday, 8/13, with no indication that they were available and no credit. When I called the representative then told me they had arrived on 8/8 and that it would be more than $1000 to get them delivered to my house and there was not a trailer available to fit my needs. When I conveyed my concerns, She told me she put in an high priority request to have the regional manager call me. It is now Friday, 8/16 and I have not received a phone call.

UHaul has this location opening on Monday at noon. We waited and returned the truck around noon. Come to find out they open at 9 am. UHaul needs to adjust this locations hours.

There was a note on the door that although the location was normally open, they took the day off. There was no cell service so I was not able to check the truck in with the app, even after driving my personal car up the hill for service and running back down to the drop off location many times trying to get service and to get the app to work. I took a picture of the odometer and fuel level incase I could upload it at a different time, but that's not how the app works. I was charge an extra $40 even though I dropped it off 14 hours early. I sat on hold with customer service for 15 minutes when I was trying to drop off the uhaul and eventually hung up.

They had the trailer I needed on short notice, easy access and fast.

I did my reservation online for the convenience. I drove 4 hours to get the uhaul due to it was the closest one to where I picking stuff up. When I showed the worker I did the steps and just needed the keys. The worker couldn't find my reservation in the computer system and told me their location isn't a good area for internet connection. Plus they gave another customer the truck I checked out online. I arrived early for pick...but had to wait another 25 mins for the worker to fix my paperwork. So maybe have a list of uhaul offices that don't do online booking. And this office had a cat. I'm highly allergic. Other than these minor issues the uhaul was great.

The truck, especially the windshield was filthy with bugs and dirt. Could hardly see out. Had to personally clean it before staring the move. U-Haul should do more to prepare the vehicle for the new user takes possession.

I would not recommend to a friend because it is out of my area. I don’t have any friends that would need a Uhaul in this area

The U-Haul truck gets 5 stars but the Saturday front desk girl gets 1 Star. She showed up late then acted like everyone was inconveniencing her. Her bad attitude was such a turn off.

Was notified box arrived in Chelan, and said I would receive a call - that did not happen. It took three tries to find someone in the office that could help schedule our delivery. They keep their own hours. Young man who delivered was helpful and friendly.

The place wasn't dirty just kind of run down looking so I gave it a no on clean and inviting. Lady was nice but seemed worried about her cat getting out of the office. She was a good though and I would go here again.
