Trinity LI had selected the no contact option to pick up on the app, but this wasn't available when I arrived. I had to go in and work with an agent there. He was very helpful and fairly quick, so not a big deal. He did not ask me to review the truck before taking, but I went ahead and looked around and there were many dings, dents, and imperfections on the truck that were not noted with the x sticker. I went back in to let him know and he came out to mark them for me so I could be on my way. This truck must have been an older truck because it had several issues. First, it had what looked like water stains on the cupholder area that were not wiped down. Then, the air conditioner was not working. The seat adjustment bar was so far up in the seat that I had to get out to find it and slide the chair up. There were a few rips in the leather seat. Lastly, the engine revved in a way that did not seem right many times while driving. I've driven this type of truck many times, so I know that the performance was not normal. It met my needs and got me where I needed to be without issue, but it seemed like there were some engine issues that should probably be resolved soon. Lastly, when I opened the back at my location, there was a large cardboard sign (looked like a uhaul sign) inside that I had to find somewhere to dispose of. These are all fairly minor issues, and all of my needs were met by a friendly staff, but just wanted to make you aware as this was the first time I had encountered this many (minor) issues with my rental.

nadine wThe equipment car dollly I used was absolutely filthy and caked with mud and was not properly maintained. It was so bad I almost found it unsafe to use. The ratchets were rusted and needed greased and made it difficult to use but fortunately it did. With that said, after I used the dolly I stopped at a car wash to hose it off so the next customer wouldn’t receive it like I did.

Frank GWhen I first placed my reservation I was told that I could come before the time scheduled. That was not true it led to an hour long wait on hold with customer service for me to be able to pick up the truck after hours. I would rather carry my belongings cross country on my back than to ever go through this process again.
