Great experience. The young lady that checked me in and out was awesome. The one thing I would let y'all know is that the trucks were all parked in the grass area behind the concrete parking lot. There are several parking spot barriers that separate the two. There are open spots where the barriers allow a drive through, but they were hard to see once in truck. I know it's nit picking but we love y'all's service and wanted to give you a heads up.

Was remarkable from beginning to the end. From start to finish they were truly transparent in every single step. Even to returning the Uhaul the end cost. They treated my like were one each other from birth while at the same time remaining professional. Try awesomeness.

Joseph T.The car had ashes from a previous smoker, which only bothered me because it was evident the car had not been wiped down despite COVID-19. Additionally, the store manager Ally Hemphill was very rude. We returned the vehicle an hour late due to delays from our movers and she charged us a full extra day despite a lot full of the same vehicles. It wasn't the charge that was frustrating but how she handled the situation. I'll never go back to this location.

Alfredo L.Training . My rental reservation was schedule Online and when arriving at the pick up location the app was not working. I went inside the building and asked for help. My original rental was suppose to be $127 and after the man CANCELLED my online reservation and created a new my total was almost $150 . I was already low on funds and this just made me extremely upset and frustrated!

henry R.We arrived at 9am to pick up our truck, worked with the app and could not get it to work to retrieve the keys. We saw an employee arrive at 9:15, so I knocked on the door and she said they don't open until 9:30. I explained that we were having problems with the app and was told to call customer service. Got back in the car and called customer service. We tried it from 2 phones and could not get it to work. She said I would have to go in and have their help. I stood outside of the door watching the employee at the desk until 9:30 when she opened the doors. I asked why she would t help me when she knew I was there and was told she couldn't clock in until 9:30- would I help someone if I wasn't getting paid?!? This tells me a lot about the employees UHaul is hiring. So sad. A very poor reflection on your company. Most people would choose the route of helping someone and good customer service than the pay. We did receive the truck but didn't pull out until 9:50. A much later start to our planned day of moving.

Roger B.My experience here was very good. I do not understand why I had to wear a mask in the office when the employee of uhaul did not.
Clay C.When stepping inside the facility, I was asked to put on a mask while the employee did not have one on. When going out to the truck she refused to acknowledge that the gas gauge was over a half tank and ended up charging $9 for it. She was very rude and condescending and I will not be using this location ever again.

Sandro L.The truck was clean. However, the passenger side mirrors would not stay in the position I set them for me to see. They kept moving in toward the truck to where I could not see if there were vehicles on that side. Thankfully, I had a vehicle following me and we talked on phone when change was needed. Very unsafe. The gas gauge was marked at 7/8. I only asked for email contract and did not notice. I saw it just under 3/4 when I got in.

CSR who called us at 7:40am on Friday 10/02 left a VM they could not provide us with the truck reserved, she didn't know why our order was sent to them and told me to reschedule and to ‘have a good day'.

Christeen M.Due to this location serving as a storage facility as well, I had to wait nearly 30 minutes to actually pick up the truck (even though I had already checked in online) because the attendant was dealing with a disgruntled storage facility customer. There should really be more than one employee working on a Saturday to prevent the delay in getting assistance. After all, Saturdays tend to be the busiest moving day!
Kelly R.We rented a trailer, 6X12. When we asked if there was anyone there that could help us hook it up to our truck, she just shook her head. Didn't say "no", didn't offer to help or offer to find someone to help us. Just shook her head no. My husband and I had to hook it up ourselves, it isn't a light piece of equipment. I forgot to get the blankets, I knocked on the door to let them know I needed in but she just looked at me. I waited 7 minutes for the door to open because she just realized she forgot to get the blankets. She could have asked me why I was knocking on the door! In returning the trailer, we asked for help removing if from our hitch. Again, "I don't know how to do that!" My husband just asked for her assistance. She only bent down to help because I started helping him. My husband injured himself trying to get the trailer off, two weeks he is still in pain.
Richard I.The truck was confirmed the morning of pickup. We arrived at 930 and it was not there nor were any trucks available. We waited over an hour for another renter to return with a truck. They did a quick clean and left it mostly dirty. Cracked rear view mirror. Terrible overall and would not use Uhaul again

MARCY M.Laura, the agent, went above and beyond, arranging last minute storage to allow me to divert from a closing facility. Her customer service saved me from having travel plans ruined. She went out of her way to help me. It was a rare customer service interaction.

Laureen B.I found the Interior of the truck to be dirty, grimy and sticky even after the agent confirmed that it had been wiped down. The agent was not wearing a mask even though, according to the signage, customers are required to do so. (When questioned about this she stated it was “too hot.â€) Agent gave faulty, unclear and incomplete instructions on where and how to drop off the vehicle key, making a vague and unclear reference to a drop off point. This lead to confusion when returning the vehicle after hours. I have been a storage rental customer at the Chase Street facility in Athens for over 5 years and this is the worst I've been treated. There's simply no excuse for being lied to and for being given rushed, hurried and incomplete instructions especially when you are the only customer in the office. I'm glad to have terminated my contract with this facility.
