Drop off was after hours. Kudos to Tammy at main office in Springfield Illinois that worked until she found us a dolly and blankets. When we were dropping off, we had received a text saying we could drop it off at this location instead of the one further away. Christi S was helpful with getting this straight. Ten o'clock at night is not a fun time to be dealing with this but she took care of it. I guess the point is, you have some very helpful people at U-Haul but the location we started this with, and having to go that far to get the truck, started us out on a bad note. Moving is stressful Enough without having to go look for something you thought would be there.

I was an hour late on return and charged for 24 more hours. Sales person called and told me they were renting it out to another person. I was charged for services I did not receive. If I were to do this it would be considered fraud. I believe I should be refunded for the second day charge, since it was only 1 hour. Will likely choose Ryder Truck rental next time. Would love a call from Corporate manager.

I needed to have my friend pick up the trailer, as I would not make it to the dealer before they closed. All the payment details were handled on the phone without any problems. The folks at Center Creek Storage were very accommodating.

We had rented an appliance dolly on our application, the lady asked us when we were there if we still wanted it, we said yes. We had gotten the UHaul truck to our house, and there was no appliance dolly. I called back, spoke to a man who put notes on our application that we hadnt received it, and we wanted to go back and get one but there was no one there to get one, so we went back to our house with out getting helped and without the dolly.

The young lady working there remained calm and positive as she was dealing with the U-Haul computer program. Kudos! We were on hold for nearly 30 minutes waiting for a person to answer a question regarding how to verify that the U-Haul system recognized we had returned the truck. Finally gave up and hung up. Again, not about the location but about the U-Haul website/program.

First the equipment we got did not match the contact second we were doing a out of town move told the lady over and over she still put it as in town and it costed me extra money because of someone else's screw up

I would recommend the location only because the rentals are cleaned and maintained. The staff at this location was nice but something was wrong with the guy that worked there. He thought today was Thursday when it was actually Saturday, he came in looking for the keys when he had the keys in his HANDS the entire time! They also argued quite a bit.

Strange people. They live in the office with a small aggressive dog. Reminded me of a scene from a movie from the deep south. Thought I heard banjo music playing in the background. :) Take a friend to make sure you make it out OK or find another location.

Website reservation system does not appear to work correctly. Had to recreate the reservation at the location due to incorrect settings passed from the online system. Staff was quick to address the issue.

I think the rate that I was charged seemed a bit excessive, $852.00 for a one-way from Carthage, MO., to Norfolk, VA. I also returned it earlier than the 5 days contracted (2.5 days). I would expect a pro-rated refund for returning it early. I was told no refund would be issued at the return facility. This is unsatisfactory.

Uhaul needs to do away with the mileage charge. It's outright theft of you pocket book. There should be better options. I will not utilize uhaul again.

We had the back around 1:45 pm was told they would be open until 2:00 pm they were closed then when I get an email ticket was charged $58.99 instead the $39.99 truck was returned within 24 hours plus was charged $10.50 for gas had tank at what it was at when we took The truck

Easy access with a big lot,close to I-44 and they went and got a trailer for me that was brand new. From Carthage to Oklahoma City and back with a 1967 camaro no worries at all if the trailer would make it. Nice people and very neat clean environment. Would highly recommend.

I want to say that I have rented Uhaul trailers for vacations many times before a never had any problems. This time at this location their hours were limited, they didn't tell me I could return after hours when I told her we couldn't be back by 3 or 4pm on Saturday and she didn't note the account that I wouldn't have it back in time, so the head office called me stating it was supposed to be back and they needed to know what was going on. I explained that the office was closed and that was why I hadn't returned it yet. They told me it didn't have to be open and I returned it that night. Almost a week later I got another call, "the trailer was due back the day before and they needed to what was going on?" I called and told them it was returned almost a week ago, they said they would check the lot again. I asked that they confirm it was there and call me back. Miraculously, it was there, they called me back to let me know. I got to thinking about the cost their mistakes would have cost me and checked my credit card and sure enough there was an $80 charge pending. I called in a bit of a panic because the card was already maxed out and he said he was working on canceling right then but he didn't know what he was doing do so it might have to wait till his wife got back from the doctor. I know accidents happen but overall it was not a good experience and I would recommend stearing clear of that location.

Original contract was to be from Joplin on E 7th & Florida. When I arrived they were pleasant but did not have a tow dolly available. I was rather disappointed as that it had been reserved. They found one we used in Carthage, MO which was out ot our way and caused us a delay. The people were freindly but the extra time and distrance traveled was not helpful, better planning is needed.

Seeing a "Closed" sign, I used the key drop intent on reporting in some other manner an electrical problem with the dashboard gauges and headlights making the vehicle unsafe for night driving. A short time later I received a call and reported the problem. I'm the type of guy that returns a rental car with a full tank to avoid the high fuel prices charged by rental companies. Due to that problem, I was unable to determine if I had the requisite fuel in the vehicle to avoid paying the excessive fuel charge. The gauges were repeatedly reading/jumping from zero to "not zero" (every gauge... speedometer, fuel gauge, etc.). I thought I was close to the amount of fuel I'd started with (3/8 full), but each time the gauges "worked", by the time the fuel gauge crept past a quarter tank, it immediately dove to zero... so I took a chance... I wasn't going to give away fuel when I couldn't view the fuel gauge. Subsequently I noted an additional seventeen dollar fuel charge added to my final bill... which mildly put me off (not enough to argue about it) and further soured THIS Uhaul experience. The problem with the truck was not a reflection on Center Creek Storage.

THEY DID NOT GET THE UNIT NUMBER OFF THE TRAILER, WHEN I RETURNED IT THE NEXT DAY BEFORE THEY OPENED THEY CALLED ME AND SAID I DID NOT RETURN THE UNIT. THEY ASSIGNED THE UNIT TO ME BUT DID NOT GO GET THE NUMBERS OFF THE UNIT AND MADE ME HOOK IT UP TO THE VEHICLE MYSELF.IT ALSO TOOK 3 PEOPLE TO DO THE PAPERWORK AFTER I MADE A RESERVATION ON LINE.SO ALL OF THE INFO WAS ALREADY ON THE RESEVATION.I HAD TO WALK THEM THROUGH THE PAPER WORK MYSELF SINCE I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE RENTAL PROCESS. I THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD WHEN I GOT A CALL STATING THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO RETURN THE DOLLEY BY 815 THE NEXT DAY BUT THEY DID NOT OPEN TILL 2. THEY CALLED ME AT 1 AND ASKED WHERE THEIR TRAILER WAS.THEN ACCUSED ME OF NOT RETURNING THE TRAILER.THE TOW DOLLEY HAD A CRUSHED IN FENDER THAT WAS RUBBING THE TIRE AND I DID NOT NOTICE TILL I GOT HOME WITH IT.IF THEY HAD WENT OUT TO THE TRAILER THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT. THIS WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH U-HAUL. I HAVE RENTED APPROX 8 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT WITH A 12 MONTH TIME FROM U-HAUL.

Hold down straps on one side were very hard to release. Check in at pick up was entirely too long with way too much information being asked for like licenses number of vehicle being trailered. Why does uhaul need to know this? As fact it had no license because if it did I would of just drove it and not wasted 75 dollars renting your trailer. .

The staff needs a lot better understanding of the computer system they are trying to use to wait on customers.Thank God the lady finally called someone within Uhaul who could do it over the phone or I might still be there. The trailer was just what I expected and the only complain I would of voiced would be that it was very shaky unloaded, enough that I stopped to be sure no tires had knots on them.
