Drivers door wouldn't close properly. Vehicle had acceleration problems and needed to be serviced. Vehicle cab was really unclean, not properly sanitized. Mirrors weren't cleaned and trailer was dirty.

we were given a price, returned the uhual a day and half early, when we returned it with out mobile phone we said no to the charges and why. they billed the CC anyway with the extra 75.00 . we booked with 1300 km, we returned it early with 1400 km used which is only 35.00 not 80 00 also we called the company and never received a call back. the uhual was great but would like to have had notice as to why the cost was almost 100.00 more

Business opened 15 minutes late then was sent off to some parking lot to retrieve my trailer. Once there had to walk through deep snow to dig out trailer that was frozen to the ground and was dirty and not cleaned off of snow. Then to realize that the trailer lights didn't function at all.

If your truck isn't working tell people before they get there. Had our truck booked at 10:30, plenty of time to tell us. We needed a truck, offered us a van. We had to wait for a truck return...at 3 to get a truck that I requested 8 says before. Asked about the other truck that was there and was told it was rented. Called us at noon that a truck was available. Went it was the truck he said we couldn't have because it was rented. It was COVERED in snow! Had to take half an hour to clear it off. Threw our whole day off. Then instead of 48 hours we got 46 hours and the gas tank wasn't filled. Lucky 2 weeks before we got better service because if it had been the other way around we wouldn't have rented again.

Only issue which was not the locations fault but we signed up for auto pickup where you to wait for online approval to get keys. “Contactless” We waited an hour , went inside to see if the location could help. They can't due to process. We waited in the car before having to chat with a rep before it finally approved the pickup. Long wait!!

Made it very clear that I did not want their insurance coverage when signing in. However $15.00 plus tax was added to the final invoice for insurance. UHaul is refunding me but you need to pay attention to details.

Make your website and what actually happens the same thing. I had to make 4 trips rather than 2 because where I wanted to pick up and drop off were not available. And when I called to find out why, I was cut off 3 times and finally put on hold for an extended period of time only to be told I had to contact another number to file my complaint!! I will not and anybody I know will not rent from you people!!!

The interior lights were not working for evening drop off. The engine light/alarm came on several times while driving on the 400 indicating service was needed. I believe the transmission. But this is the first time I have encountered these problems. Maybe it's a high volume time for rentals . The staff are good.

Dropped off uhaul before opening. This is a reflection of our experience with uhaul overall. The truck also began heating up significantly during the move. It was a wholly awful experience.

The truck was so dirty with earth dust, so I had to clean it out. The bill include effectively 29 km as the car said, (I took pictures), but you charged the cost of 29 miles and the difference is about 10 dollars. I expect reimbursement of this money and take this comment in account for next customers.

The truck shook as soon as the vehicle reached 50km/h. Drove 4100kms across Canada and had the worst experience driving. I will never rent or rep this company again.

Rented in 2 occasions. Vehicles were clean however there was always something wrong once started the truck which made me questions safety. For example hissing sound when pressing on the gas and now lights in and right FF tire low. I was told it was okay and safe to drive. I did make it to the other city but unsure why in both o casinos truck has questionable issues???? Also requested drop off to a close location near home. I was referred to another location which was more downtown and felt I drove cross town when there was one about 6 minutes from me.

Have the vehicle ready for pickup at the reserved time. Or at least let us know in advance that it isn't ready yet. When we book 3 weeks ahead we are expecting the truck to be available the morning we scheduled, not 5 hours later, after the location calls a customer to return the vehicle as soon as possible.

When my contract was pulled up, they gave the wrong pricing as I showed up 30 minutes early. If you have a reservation based on a price, I think it should be in place as long as the times are not unreasonable.

I was informed 1 hour before our pick up that the truck I had reserved wasn't available and was offered a smaller truck for less time- not cool!!!! Thankfully another truck at another location was available but no doubt the next customer was inconvenienced as well.

The digital signature pad didn't work when completing the primary paperwork in the UHaul Office. Inside cab and cargo areas of this truck were filthy!! Unacceptable. The gas level was just below the half-tank mark and returned over half. I only used the vehicle for six hours and returned keys to personnel inside the office.

Inside cabin there were dogs hair, it was told dolly is inside truck but nothing was there. Rate was told 58 cent per km but charged 60 cent per km. I demanded bill at spot but I was refused. I was suspected they will overcharge, and they did. They did not check the truck in front of me. Store operator was not busy. Contradiction over contradiction. Will write to u haul head office to train the staff and manager/franchise operators

Last weekend I rented a 15' van and couldn't have been happier. Went very well. The only thing was your app sucks and wouldn't let me drop off the vehicle. Had to call. This weekend was a totally different experience. I was pushed around from pick up place to pickup place and the girl on the phone was totally out of line. You guys screwed up my entire move by having me drive to Barrie and get a smaller truck than ordered. I had to also borrow a truck and trailer to finish the move. I'm probably out of pocket at least $500 and the girl on the phone basically said “tough luck “ Absolutely infuriating you guys can screw up someone's move by basically relying on the previous customer to show up from the rental before. Totally pissed off.

Drivers side door of truck did not close properly, very unsafe. The customer service rep had a "it's fine, and we don't have another truck so it's this truck or nothing" attitude. Vehicle should be pulled off the road until it can be fixed before someone gets seriously hurt!
