When making the reservation for a 15 foot moving truck I was told on multiple occasions the truck would have cruise control. This was a determining factor in my rental of this truck with U-Haul. Unfortunately, after picking up the truck I discovered the rented truck did not have cruise control and there was little to nothing U-Haul would do about this situation. Felt an awful lot like a “bait and switch “ type scenario related to the rental of this truck. My 1,800 mile plus trip could have been more enjoyable if the moving truck had cruise control.

Windshield was still dirty after they cleaned it. Mirrors would not adjust. Then was charged for two gallons of fuel even though brought it with same level of fuel.

I Absolutely recommend Uhaul but more specifically Cascade Heated Storage in North Bend WA. I can't say enough about them. They have all gone out of their way to assist me in Any way possible. They are just the nicest bend over backwards to provide excellent service people. Thank you Matt, Cici & Ben!!

The lady assisting me was rather unfriendly and almost inconvenienced with helping me. The truck was clean and appeared to be in good condition. Immediately after leaving the pickup location, there was a horrible vibration problem in the floorboard and steering wheel. Having people waiting to help load the truck, I completed the loading by the following day and then took the truck to my store and balanced the front tires. The truck had almost new tires but the driver's front tire/wheel had no wheel weights and the wheel was bent. The passenger front wheel/tire had a very old 6oz wheel weight. I re balanced both fronts at my own expense so I wouldn't have to drive the truck 1,400 miles with a massive vibration problem. After the front tires were balanced the truck drove smoothly. This should all be taken care of prior to the rental pickup.

This is THE cleanest, nicest Uhaul location I have ever been to. And I have been to more than a few as I have moved inumerable times throughout my life. Matthew is literally the NICEST man. Wow! I give it 10 out of 5 stars. THANK YOU!

Negligence in insepction of vehcile caused major delays to my move, had to take off work. when I notified site manager that there was a half of tank of gas missing from the vehicle with the same amount of mileage he did not check it to verify it was OK to drive, assumed it was just a typo or documentation error. It was not an error someone had siphoned the gas tank - I had my car loaded from my storage unit and drove less than 2 miles to a gas station and had to wait literally 5 hours for a repair person to come and repair the vehicle. I wasted my entire day off work that I had schedule to move and lost all daylight, it was also very stressful as my dog was stuck in a crate for almost 7 hours because of this - Uhaul said I was not allowed to leave the vehicle while I waited. By failing to properly inspect the vehicle before i left, and after i brought to their attention the missing fuel - i was put in a dangerous situation of driving a car with a broken fuel line - a major hazard. I had to stay up late packing in the dark, navigating stairs, could not make it back to my car that night which i had parked at the storage unit which made me uncomfortable. I then had to take off time the next day at work and lost wages. It would be one thing if I got a flat tire but the car was in disrepair before I even left the lot. I feel like they were negligent in the care and inspection of their vehicles and made me responsible for the consequences. Kept saying what a bad situation it was but at no point apologized for the major inconvenience caused by their negligence. Offered no discount or refund. I am currently requesting one through corporate but found the site manager could have refunded me but charged me anyway. Not impressed.

we scheduled pick in Lake hills and we arrived and the truck was not there. They told us they didn't have it and we needed to go to North Bend which is not close to us! They said they would give us a discount for our time and extra miles we put on the truck. We have not seen the discount and i called and left a message with 800 number and no response from the general manager. unacceptable. In addition we noticed gas leaking from truck, check engine light on and check gas cap light on as well. This truck was not well maintained and running rough!

Uhaul is far too expensive and I won’t be renting from you again 19.99 turns into 100 for a simple trip. Your pricing model is a joke. Cheaper to rent a car for the entire day from Avis that grants me unlimited miles. Last time I’ll ever rent a Uhaul

Cascade Heated Storage was a great facility with a very helpful manager. Your on-line application is terrible. It told me I could rent blankets at Cascade and I could not. It told me I could pick up the equipment before Cascade opened and I could not. I tried to close out my rental using the on-line application, spent 20 minutes at Cascade trying to get it to accept my location so I could close out the rental and I gave up after 20 minutes and left. I followed all of the help items on-line and still could not get the application to move to the next screen. If I get charged an extra $20 for a "convenience" charge I will be upset. It should not be that difficult to get an app to work correctly.

Cascade heated storage, the pick up location, should not be allowed to be a uhaul facility. The staff there booked a truck for a sunday pickup for me two weeks in advance of my move then 4 days before my move they called and said sunday pick up was not an option and did not offer any solutions. They also told me the size truck I had reserved was not available and I would have to go with a smaller size. I dropped off the vehicle with a full tank and the staff at the storage facility claimed I only returned it with 1/4 tank even though I have the receipt for the gas purchase. The zone rep emailed and said everything looked right and if the storage staff said I was a liar then it must be true and they are charging me a $106 fuel charge. Even though I have a receipt and two witnesses that can attest to me filling up the vehicle immediately before dropping it off. If Uhaul is the company that treats people like this, that literally calls customers liars without even discussing a situation or gathering facts, that treats people so poorly on the phone and via email during a vulnerable time of transition and relocation then I guess I just learned an expensive lesson. Do not ever do business with UHaul. There are plenty of other options in the market place and I will do everything in my power to make it known that nobody should do business with a company like this.

I had a good experience, the truck was clean and in good working order and had great power, which I did not expect. The rental would be perfect for local moving. My situation was different in that I live 20 miles from the rental location and needed to make two trips the eighty miles was a bit pricey at $1.39 a mile if I remember correctly. The process I didn’t care for, was looking over the vehicle for dents. I would rate my experience as a good one. Bill -

The gauge read "Needs oil change" the whole time, wasn't sure how to communicate that to the location. There was no way to mention it on the phone app. Thought the process was very smooth.

The truck was extremely hard to start. I had to fiddle with the key, the steering wheel for up to five minutes before the key would turn. This needs to be fixed on this truck. Otherwise, everything went well.

I was charged for two gallons of gas for driving 11 miles total. I can’t believe that an 10’ box van would only get 6 mpg. Otherwise, the experience was good. I’ve always had a good experience with the UHaul brand!

The agent wouldn't let me stay to check in the truck said I would get an email and if there were any changes he would call me. Well he charged me for more gas when I gased it up to past the 3/4 mark which is more than the truck when I picked up the truck. Very disappointed in being charged $17.12 for more gas when that was a little more than when I picked it up. The agent said he had no notice from Uhaul about the truck coming in at all. He wasn't very pleasant and seemed he was inconvenienced about that so he called Uhaul to get the info he needed to check in the truck. So because he wouldn't check me in while I was present I had no choice but to leave. But when I got the email it made me very dissatisfied with the service I got from Uhaul. Your after hours drop off via internet is a joke. I could not access my account to reset my password then enter code, it required two computers. Not everyone is tech savvy. There needs to be another option, ie, traditional paperwork as well. Apparently I have been charged double for the service because of this glitch, even though I called the site and the company to ket them know truck was returned. I want my bill adjusted to reflect the charges I was quoted. This is by. Very disappointed 😞. The actual girl who checked me in was very nice, it is your after hours return process that is poor. Give customers an option other than internet. Ridiculous!!!

Uhaul transmission went out while on I-5 during rush hour. Had to return truck without finishing move but after hours at storage facility. Uhaul refused to refund any rental charges AND CHARGED ME FOR THE GAS I COULDN'T REFUEL BECAUSE TRANSMISSION WAS OUT! Incredible-NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL!!

Check in was fast and easy, trucked looked clean and ready at quick walk around. As I pulled out on the road there was a huge crash in the back when we got home we found the appliance dolly was not attached and fell. We also found dirty used face Masks in the doors so clearly the truck had not actually been cleaned!!! With short back to back renting windows that is really putting people at risk during Covid when your website claims to clean trucks between use.

The online return process has far to many steps in the process. Rather than submitting 10 pictures give an outline of what you want and need to see and have the customer take a 30 second video. This will speed things up and get the customers happy especially in today’s society where time is always of the essence.

I read on the website that UHUAL trucks came equipped with tow hitch and tow ball . The truck did not have either. I had to go buy it from home depot

I reserved a 15 foot truck and was told that North Bend rented it out the day before so my only option was a 10 foot truck. Not enough space for what I had to move. To add insult to injury they had the tank at 1/8 with the gas light on. They said they would credit me $23, but when I dropped the truck off the following day there was so note of my credit. Also, because I did not receive the truck I reserved, I had to make an extra trip costing me an extra $50. It's absolutely unacceptable to rent out a truck that I already reserved to someone else and then charge me more because of their lack of ethics. I will never use a Uhaul again, and don't worry I will tell everyone how horrible your business model is.

The attendant was rude. The cab had mud all over the floor mats. Had a 4 hour rental didn’t get it off the lot until 30minutes had passed. It was actually more like a 3 1/2 hour rental.

In reviewing my receipt, I wasn't aware of the $14.00 SafeMove insurance (?) charge, which I would have opted to not accept. I wasn't moving - I was hauling stuff to the dump, so there was no need for insurance.

Extremely rude receptionist. No courtesy of "Hello- how can I help you?" or "Thank you" after the transaction. When I entered the office - she asked me rudely to close the door behind "as there was cooling in the office". Did not answer basic questions on daily rate and insurance coverage. Will not recommend this location!

I rented a 19.99 truck I started the truck moved it 15 feet shut it off. Loaded my unit started it backed up 20ft turned right drive maybe 30 ft turned left drove 15 20ft shut it of unloaded it backed up and parked it maybe ran less than a minute and they charged me for 1.5 gallons of fuel. The next day on my credit card didn’t want to do it when I was right there in front of them
