My experience with U-haul was HORRIBLE at best!!! Making the reservation was a breeze. However, the pick-up was a nightmare!!! I drove 3hrs to pick-up my RESERVED trailer (arriving on time) only to be told they gave my trailer to someone else and had nothing else for me. I had to call customer service back to be told I would have to drive an additional 40 minutes FURTHER OUT OF MY WAY to pick-up another trailer to then be told at that location I would have to go down the road to an Auto Zone and PURCHASE parts for the trailer to properly work!!! So, I again called the local customer service and spoke to a RUDE and DISMISSIVE woman who informed me that I would have had to purchase parts at any location of pick-up. However, when I made the reservation I specifically asked about the hook-up and was assured that EVERYTHING I needed was included and would be available for me! I told the woman that and that this entire situation was unacceptable. Her exceptionally horrible manners and customer service representative answer to me was "it is what is is...I don't know what to tell ya!" After a few more minutes of me explaining to her that "I" the customer should NEVER have to go to an auto parts store and PURCHASE parts to make your equipment safe to use!!!!! At which point she informed me that she would have to call corporate and get back to me in a few HOURS! I told her that my pick-up location would be closed in a few hours... and to my astonishment she replied "well I suggest you do what you need to do to handle your business...I'll get back to you in a few hours". ðŸ˜³ and BTW...she NEVER CALLED BACK!!! In the end my supposedly easy $129. one way rental ended up costing me $160. and an additional 5 hours to just be able to pick-up the trailer!!!! This entire situation and respon from U-haul customer service should NEVER have happened!!! "I" the customer should NEVER have to go to an auto parts to purchase parts to make your equipment function safely!!!! Let alone have to go to multiple locations to pick up my reserved equipment!!! So, as to what you can do to improve your services...a great start would be to actually provide customer support!!!! To anyone looking to use U-haul...good luck and don't expect any customer service!!!renee C.

When using the 24 -7 service it would be very helpful if the say to use the app. No where in the directions to start did they say to use the appJames M.

Reported engine light...not moved. Said it could be a thousand reasons. Noted on paper, and in system. Said if we have a problem, call roadside assistance. Halfway in the drive, cab smelled like exhaust. Decided to turn truck in early and seek other resource. Reported to Hampton location, said it was the responsibility of the Waldorf store. Just hope the truck is serviced before its rented to another family.Wilma B.

The truck was dirty, and I had to clean it before putting my things in it. No one mentioned the app needed to be downloaded. Due to the poor connectivity in the area, downloading the uhaul app and having to call 3 times it took two hours to get the truck and go to my storage facility. Totally unacceptable!Latrice L.

DON'T GO HERE! This was the worst experience ever. No one was at the location at check in and no documentation told me that would be the case. The 1-800 number operator was demeaning and wouldn't even look up my account or booking. She told me to download an app and figure it out myself. The website was confusing and not well laid out. Called back and the operator, named Sunshine, was fantastic! She reset my password walked me through everything and told me the booking hadn't been set up right so I couldn't do it myself until she made calls and did something in the system, which she took care of right away. Next I had to fill out all these tests and take all these pictures to verify I was there and then they still wouldn't let me get the lock box code until they called someone that knew me that would verify that I was picking up a U-Haul and that I would bring it back. It was completely ridiculous and I had a hard time finding someone that was available. It took me an hour and a half to get into the truck. Then the tire pressure was half of what it was supposed to be, the truck was dirty, there was trash in it, and to top it off there was no dolly or any furniture pads in it and now they are trying to charge me for them. They even left threatening messages that I stole the dolly and furniture pads even though the moving company, hired through U-Haul, had to wrap all my furniture and glass in blankets and towels because I had no furniture pads. I was late to get to my movers because it took me two hours to pick up! Go somewhere else!Christina W.

The uhau I rented needs an alignment I drove from Maryland to Georgia and it was the worst experience trying to keep the truck from veering over to the left. When I picked up he truck I had to ask the agent to sweep out the bed it was filled with debris. When I returned the truck I sweep it clean. I left one piece of twine and was charged $25. When I called to inquiry about the additional fee she said it was the twine and they had to sweep out he bed. They did not have sweep because I already did that. When I picked up the truck my total was suppose to be $772.20 but I got chased an additional $5.Tonique M.
Access to the trailer and ability to return was difficult due to too many vehicles in the way. They do not have hand trucks or four wheel to assist in loading and off loadingDouglas T.

Not the easiest place to park a 26 foot truck, but where is?! Very convenient location, quick and friendly service. I'm a guy that has no time to waste and Busheys made returning the U-haul easy and painless. ¡Gracias!Richard S.

Location has limited access to load and unload. Narrow drives that the trucks can potentially block entrance and exit. Staff was very helpful in moving the trailer with the limited access.JEROME M.

The first truck offered was very dirty and there was a tire warning light illuminated on the dashboard. The person readily offered to clean the truck, and when I mentioned the warning light he said he would gladly swap trucks. While that was appropriate, I do not think the truck should have been offered to me or anyone else in that condition. Please ensure all vehicles offered are clean and in working order.Andrew B.
I dropped off the rental truck after hours, so it was dark. The lot where the trucks are to be dropped off is not well lit and it made it difficult to tell where it was okay to leave the truck. I would recommend this location, just pick up/drop off during business hours.john C.
