Robert LHowever, I ended up paying $70 more than I expected to pay because it said $19.99 on the side of the van. I was not informed that the rate was $89.00. I would have been shocked, but would have probably still rented, but wouldn’t be surprised at the end. It felt like bsit and switch to me.

Helen GI had used UHaul a few years back and the experience was nothing short of a train wreck! The truck wasn’t at the designated pickup location. I couldn’t access the app and getting someone on the phone was even harder. I had to go to another location to get a truck. The return was just as bad. I felt as though with all the mishaps and poor customer service I would never use UHaul again. The drop off location had not sympathy to my situation. I was not happy!!!!!! I was hesitant to call UHaul again but did it anyway. I’m glad I did because the Brook Road Location in Richmond Va is being run by top notch caring professionals! This rental was without incident! They treated me with great customer service and respect! Marvin and his staff are great to work with!!! I will go through them in the future!! Thanks

Carrie MBesides the military discount I wasn’t given. I was went outside to find the truck and was walking around in the rain looking by myself. I finally came back to the front to get help and the people who was suppose to help me was standing up under the shield talking. They saw me walk down by the trucks and no body asked me if I needed help nothing. After seeking for about 10 minutes I went back up front to inquire.
RENEE JI was disappointed, I only had the truck for a few hours and the total amount of mileage was about 7 mi The gas gauge was set at a point where you could not determine rather you filled the gas tank back at it original amount. I was charged $25 for gas and I had put $10 of gas back into the truck. The person disputed me vehemently, and only offered a $15 refund towards the gas. I have used this location before and that is why I came back because of the good customer service that I received prior to this last visit. Should I need U-Haul service again I would seriously consider not using this location I don't know if it's change management or not but I did not get the great service that I had before.

TINA NThe reason I marked "no" on the equipment question was that the window wipers are rotten and not functioning correctly. If I had encouraged any rain, the wipers would have been ineffective, making the drive very dangerous.
Hipolito CAlthough the 26 feet long truck was good, the wipers were in need of repalcement and one of the side view mirror was cracked.
Hipolito CAfter I had a bad experience at another U-Haul location - Wilkerson rd - the service people at this location corrected the issues and gave me exactly what I wanted in the first place. The only thing that would have made my experience better is if I had a better discount… I only used the truck for about an hour, but I still ended up paying full price.

BILL GI did a late night drop off. The large vehicle I had was not a good fit for a drop off. However I had planned to drop off during office hours. I'm sure it would have been great if I had. It was also a self storage facility and the gate was closed. So tight quarters outside the gate.
