The cargo van I had initially rented was missing an entire panel of the passenger's side rear view mirror. No one had noticed this until I had completed the check in and was ready to leave. I want to commend the staff for quickly finding me an alternate vehicle to use. The staff were are courteous and professional. I would rent at this location again even though it is not the closest to my home.Ronald F.
The 24/7 truck share aspect was a nightmare. We got there 1 hour and 10 minutes after our scheduled pickup time, and it wouldn't allow us to pick up our vehicle. Not only that, there wasn't an explanation as to why we couldn't get our truck- turns out we got there too far after our time but the app and website didn't explain that. We ended up on customer service for 40 minutes before they simply changed our pickup time.John M.

I rented a motorcycle trailer. The one that was assigned to me had a broken electrical hook up. They substituted that trailer for another slightly larger one. Luckily they had another trailer available but it seems like they should have checked the condition of the trailer prior to me showing up.Elizabeth G.
We got off to a late start because we "thought" we had scheduled it for the location near our house. Them when we got to the other location, the employees didn't seem to understand the "new system" and it took a while in a line of people. We were not instructed to do anything other than to return it. So I'm baffled at how much tou charge for mileage! What we thought would be about a $50ish day turned into $150!brandy W.

We went to pick up our UHaul at 2pm, we had an appointment to pick up furniture down the road at 3pm. When we arrived, we noticed the UHaul assigned to us had been blocked in by other UHauls and were unable to get it out of the parking space. We called the business, no answer. We called the number that was listed on the door stating to call for emergencies. No answer and the voicemail was full. I texted the number 7 times total. No answer. Eventually, it was 240pm and our furniture appt was coming up. I called Uhaul who called the area manager and they also received no answer. I called the emergency number 25 times in a row (not an exaggeration). She eventually answered on the 25th call, was extremely rude, and said â€œWell I just sat down to eat with friendsâ€¦ I'm not sure what you want me to do about it.â€ I told her I'd like her to come move the UHauls blocking us in so we could leave and carry on with our day. she stated we'd have to wait for her to finish eating and did not give an estimate as to when that would be, just whenever she got done. I asked why she was listed as an emergency contact if she was unwilling to help customers or answer the phone. She again stated she was eating. I told her I'd be calling her manager and corporate and hung up. she finally sent someone over to help us, (which she was able to do the entire time). It was 330pm at the point and we missed our appt to pick up our furniture.Daylen H.

UHaul called 2 days prior to switch pick up location due to equipment availability. The text service is very helpful to keep everything on track and keep your mind at ease. The gentlemen at Louisville were very helpful with hooking up our trailer.Malia N.

The staff was good at this location but the truck I was in was not in good condition. The trim around the door was off and the door didn't shut good. The transmission was slipping, I was so nervous the transmission was going to go out. This truck needs serious service.angela S.

Rude customer service. I had reserved a trailer and truck. I picked up the truck on Friday evening and was set to pick up the trailer on Saturday morning. I showed up and was informed they didn't have it and they offered no further help with my reservation other than for me to call the 1-800 number.clifford T.
I reserved a 26' truck, 5 dozen moving pads, and a utility dolly online. My original pickup location did not have a 26' truck, so the National reservation center sent me to this location. This location had the specified truck, but not the pads or dolly. It wasn't the local facility's fault, the reservation system didn't coordinate the supplies I needed. The folks at this facility did the best they could to scrounge up what pads they could find, but no dolly. I recommend that the reservation system do a better job of coordinating supplies.Christopher T.

Don't even know where to begin. App failed, truck not ready and was NOT in the original selected location of 40258. What good is a reservation, if the truck in fact is NOT reserved?? I was deferred to this location as the location I booked with did not have a truck rental. This was the worst uhaul I have ever rented, dash lights on, horrible suspension, cosmetic damage. The poor man was helpless with no trucks cause the main uhaul is deferring people to his location thankfully my truck was returned but the two previous women's we're not. I will go to the uhaul at 4183 Bardstown from now on where I have mainly always rented before and never had any issues.Heather T.

For starters, I called & made reservations for the office on Preston Hwy., Louisville, KY. , for a specific pick up time. Unfortunately, I received an email with the WRONG pick up time, in addition to finding out I had to pick up the 10' truck at a location that was more than 20 miles away!!! Also, the pick up location was unable to provide a specific destination for drop off in Lexington, KY. Lastly I was specific in stating the truck would be returned on the SAME DAY, but the person making the reservation booked me for two days usage. IT WAS A FREAKING MESS!! AND I NEVER received a call about an "update" (change of pick up location). I have shared this inconvenience with everyone I know and going forward will select ANOTHER rental company who BETTER understand and provided NEEDED information when I make the initial reservation. As compensation, I was INFORMED BY THE MANAGER OF THE BLUEGRASS LOCATION, that additional mileage was added for the craziness during the initial reservation process and not being notified via phone of the NEW location pickup.duane T.

I had originally placed an order for a larger truck at a different location. When I got there, the attendant said, "I don't know who does these reservations, but we have no trucks." I had 6 people meeting me at my house to help with the move. I was eventually directed to another location where I got a smaller truck covered in ice. I scraped the ice myself and made the move. No where did anyone apologize. I will never rent another Uhaul.Daniel Z.
Bluegrass Parkway was a positive customer experience, However this was after I was transferred to this dealership from a location called KCS2+. Dirección: 2001 West Broadway Suite 4 Louisville KY, which was a huge inconvenience. I had an appointment to pick up my Uhaul and Car Dolly from KCS2+ at 10am 3/8/22 except the owner was not even present at this address when I arrived to my 10am appointment. She never showed up after my wife and I waited 45 minutes for her arrival and received multiple unprofessional texts and phone calls as to why she was not there. Also, this office was located in a dilapidated building in a shady part of town. I would not be sending clientele to this location as it's a poor customer experience. We finally called the corporate office and they helped us transfer our appointment to Bluegrass Parkway who were very helpful with coordinating our last minute pickup. Unfortunately the experience with the initial dealership KCS2+ caused us to reschedule our movers as we ended up being over an hour behind schedule, which cost me an additional $500.00. I would appreciate some kind of compensation as this additional moving expense was at no fault of my own.Kevin B.

Really pathetic experience at this location. I had booked a truck for moving my apartment and along with the reservation had booked an Appliance Dolly to move my appliances. First of all entering into the office, wasn't a welcoming place. Then the person behind the counter seemed to be rude and had 'don't seem to bother' attitude which would be justified more in next statement. I told him about the appliance dolly need and my need to move heavy appliances but seems like they don't care and shrugged me off and told me they don't have any dolly. If someone has a move planned and has a reservation, you should keep those available for them to pick up. Highly un-responsible for them.Apoorv A.

The auto transport's tie downs were very worn, frayed, and rusty. Even when installed in accordance with the instructions and videos, the ratchet tie downs came off the front wheels during the trip. Luckily the axle chains and brakes held the vehicle onto the trailer without incident.Jeff L.

The U-Haul app is not a good tool for checking in and out. Only use the mobile website for this purpose. Otherwise, an hour or more of your time will be spent taking pictures and making failed attempts uploading them.Tonia N.
The location initially reserved was not even a U Haul location anymore, so I had to drive to three separate places before finding this location and truck. The truck I got was dirty and had a used condom inside the trailer. The two men that ran the location were very professional and took 20min. to simply have me sign papers. They talked on the phone to their â€œfriendâ€ the entire time they worked with me too. Absolutely horrible experience.Nathan S.

The counter agent was helpful when he got to me (already had 15' reserved), but I felt he extended my wait because he was in a personal conversation the other person on the line, referring to casinos and tight slots in Kansas City, MO. Also made a personal comment to me and a man behind me about Truck Blockades in Canada and the current US President. Keep opinions to self is my advice. I was charged for fuel $7.65 though I refilled beyond what was consumed for my order. I am still awaiting response on the email I sent them. Contract # 27972301. Could you please help me with this ? Below is copy of email - Hello, I see the charge of â€˜Ez Fuel' for - $7.65; what's this for on my invoice ? I drove truck around 16 miles and before returning the truck put in 2 gallon of gas. We requested a truck from a different location and was later told one was not available and we needed to pick up at a new location. The truck was not ready when we got there, the pick up time was not correct, the appliance dolly was not provided, received the message to go over the truck damage after we were on the road so we could not complete it until after it was no longer available.Karen B.
It wasn't this location. The whole system is a disaster. I called to make a reservation and they found the location with the truck I needed. And when I went there, they didn't have it. So miles driven and time spent waiting in line and no truck. So then they found me another place - more miles, more time. And then the contract process is a nightmare. I already did everything with the person I called, but it still took 30 minutes for whatever reason - more questions, signing stuff, whatever. Give me the damn truck and let me go. Overall the process of getting the truck was 3 hours and the use of the truck only took 2 hours. Really pathetic - how is it that U Haul can't know where it's trucks are? The truck was covered in ice, it took me 30 minutes to scrape the ice from the windows. Once hooked to the auto transport we discovered that the truck to trailer light connection was bad. I had to go to another location to get a truck then come back to this location to get the auto transport. This was done at my expense for rental time and mileage. The people at Bluegrass were very nice and did there best to assist meCharles M.

The rental of truck was only supposed to be $20.00 a day I only had it for 3-4 hrs bro it it back with full tank they charged $100.00 deposit which was supposed to be FULLY reimbursed when returning the truck the took $56.84& I expect to be refunded minus $19.95 for the rental of the truck I'm extremely dissatisfied with your company & will not recommend it to anyone plus the truck was filthy when I picked it updebra C.

When I picked up the truck, I noticed a puddle on the passenger side floor mat. Then I noticed a little water on the passenger seat. I leaned over and tried to crank up the window, but the window was up. As I drove off, a message popped up on the dash board "Passenger Door Open". At the first light I got out and closed the door. No big deal, but crew needs to check these things when they go back out to the truck for mileage.ROBERT S.
