This is the worst experience I have ever had. Was contacted the morning of rental and told original pickup location was not going to be open but another location had trailer, which they did not. Ended up getting a different trailer. I had currently been charged over 500.00 dollars in different charges for things a did not want, such as insurance which I declined on original rental and some bs safe tow crap that nobody seems to know what it is. Been to location twice to try and solve and all they say is they can't do anything, they couldn't even check it in until 6 days after I took the rental back although I walked in office to return, told him name and I was returning it and where he wanted me to place it. Called the Uhaul customer no-service line and they couldn't really do anything but dispute insurance charge. Currently waiting for manager to call me back to get it corrected. If I do not hear from him in a couple of days I will dispute all 5 charges on mt card and fight tooth and nail not to pay anything but the 100.00 charge it should have been. For a large company that you are you should be much more responsive to such a large screw up and not let outlets rent your equipment that don't give a crap about customer service and would probably have a hard time changing a light bulb.

Why did my reservation truck price increase by about $20. from the time I reserved it online, to the call I received to change the pick up location, and then when I went back to original location and picked up. The pick up location basically started from scratch and did not see my original reservation whose truck cost was $101., not $121. I was charged. Seems I should get a credit. Please explain.

Have employee explain truck operation. I did not know how to find indicator that informs driver of status of the tow-haul system. Sign on dash said fuel economy would be better if "OFF" on an empty truck. I could not figure whether I was turning it off or on when I pressed button on the steering column stalk.

Location was closed Saturday when I left the truck and I forgot about the post trip check. Couldn't do it because I already locked the door. Went back Monday and the person in charge was very helpful. Still waiting for the confirmation email though.

I am a 68-year-old man the trailer was supposedly out front. I went out front to pick up the trailer and it was a smaller trailer went back in the person said oh it's in the wrong place. It's over here now just load it up I'll come out and take a picture, so I tried to load it myself several times because it was on a hill trying to pick it up and put it on my hitch. Finally completed that job myself waited about five minutes. The person came out took a picture and said have a nice day. Also, when I got back to my location to load my furniture, the inside of the trailer had 40 or 50 blankets in there I wasn't gonna drive back an hour to deliver the blankets so I left them at the drop off location and they were very happy.

Let customer know of your 'new policy' charging a fee to drop off at a different location than stated in contract. Never been a problem before - suddenly it is a problem. Maybe its just a way for U Haul to make extra $$$?

The sales person that waited on us at the counter of the BR store was beyond rude. On the phone he stated the rate was $25. Daily- fair enough. When we got there he told me the total was over $100. When I asked he said there was a 4 day minimum and 4 x 25 was 100. How condescending. Not that it mattered how much it was - he was a jerk!!! You don't talk to people like that! And really didn't seem like he wanted to be there.

I picked up a car trailer from this tire shop and after a few miles noticed the right rear tire was low on air. I stopped less than 5 miles away and put air in it. Approximately 6 hours later it completely blew out to the point there was no sidewall. I waited 2 1/2 hours on the side of a highway for help. Never will rent from this place again and I suggest no one else does either.

I did not understand the mileage charge. 100 miles free, 50 miles at $.49/mile and 225 mi at $.79/mi. The trip was just over 200 miles.

This place does not have a large enough area. 26 foot uhaul truck with trailer would not fit at this location with all the crap vehicles taking up all the space. No signs explaining anything. Took forever to find the key drop box. This drop off business should not be a uhaul drop point. Very disappointing.

There was a padlock on the door from a previous rental I spoke with Nick the regional rep for the Ellijay Ga area. Nick saved the day by finding the padlock code. Nick was super nice and professional and I am grateful for all his help

I don't recall the name of the attendant that processed my pick up but he was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. He simply told me approximately where the trailer was then told me to pull it around front when I'd hooked it up…..he didn't offer any help at all. I'm 70 years old and handicapped and the friend with me is in worse shape than me….I had no trouble hooking it up as I get along pretty well in my condition but where I come from, we always try to help out, especially with the elderly! I had reserved 24 blankets and he told me he didn't have any that I could go to another uhaul dealer to get them……Nicholson Tire. I asked him to call them to make sure they had enough blankets and he told me they always had plenty and a call wasn't necessary…..when I got to Nicholson's, they didn't have any blankets. Tim at Nicholsons was real nice, polite, professional, friendly and accommodating…..he went the extra mile and found a dozen blankets in a truck that just came in…..this was a life saver for me, as I was hauling very expensive trophy African shoulder mounts and needed the blankets that I'd reserved! I'd highly recommend Tim and Nicholsons but Blue Ridge Tire will certainly get no more of my business nor recommendations! His attitude was Completely Unacceptable!

I used the van that they gave me for and hour and a half...the time frame was supposed to be 4 hours. I brought it back with more gas than what it had when I took it. I was over charged by almost $100 to use a van for 1 and 1/2 hours and I was charged almost $157, I only went a total of 42 miles. I called into the actual store to speak to them about the charge and asked for help...they put me on hold for over 25 minutes. I called back into the store on a different phone while I was still on hold on the other phone just to be told to call the UHaul 800 number. No apology and zero effort to try and help. I do not understand this at all. If this is how they treat their customers...I will not be back. I put not applicable for the equipment being clean and well maintained...it wasn't clean...but it wasn't filthy either...so I would say it was okay...they should give different options for this question.

When I made the reservation through an agent of Uhaul, she assured me of what was needed to do the mobile app pickup. Two forms of ID other than my driver's license, one being a friend who could verify my identity. I asked more than once and the agent said, yes, one person to verify me. So, I had what I needed when I went pick up my Uhaul truck. First thing there was no internet available on my phone for using the app. I could make calls, but could not get on the app. It said no internet connection. I walked around to see if I could find a signal, but couldn't. I called tech support and waited 25 minutes for a person to talk to. Thank goodness I didn't lose the call because then you have to start all over again. Somehow, eventually, I was able to find a spot to get internet, not the app, but the web page. The agent said I needed Safari to run the page; I don't know, but I got on the page somehow. I went through the process of taking pictures of my ID, then I gave her my person to call to verify my identity, which she did and all was good. Then she said I needed a second person to verify me. If I had known this, I would have planned ahead. It was Sunday morning and no one was available. She said she was sorry, I needed another person. Of course, I had this whole day planned around this truck and moving 100 miles away. I then had her call a friend in California, 3 hours earlier than where I was. That worked, but now it had been way over an hour standing in the cold on the phone. The key box was not easily found; I may have been a bit over it at this point, but I found the key and moved through the rest of the process. The thing is this is the 3rd time I have had problems with using the app. Never had I had a problem with counter check-in. I do not recommend this app AT ALL. The process of sending documents changes at their will and who knows if you can work through it or get stuck not getting a truck.

Upon pick up the trailer had very low air in one tire. When I told the Mgr at the pick-up location he shrugged and said " we don't work on the trailers, you can get air next door at the gas station". Additionally, I had to maneuver the trailer by hand, by myself to be able to hook it up to my truck.

I brought the Uhaul back same day, nobody came out to show me the truck or to look at it after I brought it back. Was charged for four days when I turned it in same day, not even four hours later. I waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes after my set time to pick up. Nick, the area manager was extremely helpful and fixed the issue as soon as he was made aware of the issue. The guys at this location were no help, and basically told me to figure it out myself.

Well, considering I rented this back in January and returned it on the day it was due back, but now in April I'm seeing the charge come through, I'd say something went wrong on your end. I was originally planning to drop off the trailer at another location. Plans changed and I called that location to let them know I'd be taking it back to where I picked it up from. They said they would take care of it. I dropped it off on time back at the original location. The man said he would check it back in. I got a call a month so asking if I still had the trailer. I explained that I had returned it. That was the last I heard until getting the receipt / charge yesterday. Not sure I was handled properly.

First, I had to drive out into the yard to hook up my trailer. No associate came with me. Second, I returned the trailer a day early and was assured I would be credited. I was charged for two days as per the receipt. Third, I had to drive out to the yard and disconnect my trailer. Again, no associate came out to help with the disconnect. Worst service I have received from a Uhaul dealer.

Went to scheduled location and no one at location could rent trucks out. Normal guy was on vacation and they said uhaul was informed of this. People at this location helped to get us rescheduled to another location we did pick uhaul up at. At this location was told to go get my own truck and dolly from the yard across the street with no help at pickup location. Had to back truck up to where dolly was to load it. Had to take a dolly with damaged fender because other dolly was blocked by trucks so I couldn't back my truck up to undamaged dolly to get it out of yard. Instead of moving trucks to get an undamaged dolly for me they told me to take damaged one. I have used uhaul several times and truck and dolly was always brought up to me and dolly was always attached to truck for me.
