The app is laborious. It’s too different from how every other modern company runs their software. Also the local uhaul seller was bizarre, slightly weird. Honestly, not a great experience and I will look for competitors, would be willing to pay more, next time. Call me if you want more info. DO NOT send me mail or email.

I sent a message that I did not agree with the charges , I returned the truck with a full tank which was not given to me that way and I asked if there was some type of credit that could have been taken off the total bill, no response, I was also charged 20 dollars for after hours return when I was clearly told that would only be charged if it was returned next day that was not the case and I guess that wasn't true either. I always use uhaul but I have never been more dissatisfied! This location never evenreached out to me to discuss why I disagreed with the charges! They just charged my card ! Not happy will reconsider using uhaul in the future!

My experience at Big City was the worst experience I've ever had at a Uhaul - and I've rented with Uhaul in several states/locations. First, the owner of the shop wasn't even there when I showed up on time for my appointment - he didn't even have a sign posted to say he was out. I began calling different Uhauls to make another reservation. He called me back to say that he was on his way - 10 minutes. He showed up 20 minutes later. Then proceeded to take over half an hour to check me in. When I returned the van, I noticed that he charged me for furniture pads that I didn't rent and added insurance without asking or notifying me. I specifically asked for no insurance when I made me reservation. This owner makes Uhaul look really bad.

The U-Haul app is terrible. Instead of making the process more convenient, it made it take longer. It did not register my location (yes, location services were on) at the original rental spot so I could not even pick up my van (after the app worked, the correct van wasn't even there, nor could I get a key code). I rented 2 dollies and they are not even available at the first spot. U-Haul should really notate that so we can see which places have additional supplies or not. After around 1.5 hours I had to go to another location to get the van and dollies. Should have just done counter service to begin with. Even the check-out process was prolonged. I took a photo of the final mileage/gas tank but could not close the account because the app would not let me upload the photo. Neither location had good internet service either. I had to go across the street at the first place and outside at the second. Hence, don't bother with the app. Real live people were quicker in this case. On the plus side, all 4 U-Haul reps that I was in contact with were friendly and helpful.

Hello it was ok but when I try to rent the van online it was hard I think I made two rental try to put the ads in one site because it mess up the site I was on go and see what I'm saying because I can't explain it right but other than that it went well thank you

You idiots need to: 1. Cease and desist in forcing people to take repeated selfies of themselves when the selfie already submitted is clear view of their face. Furthermore, you need to cease in having people stand outside in front of the trucks for more than five minutes let alone 3 hours dealing with your idiotic incompetence and dishonesty. Realize that its at night, its raining, they are outside, people are passing by putting them in danger and harassing them and making them anxious and stressed and peranoid and worried. 2. If the glare of the flash of the camera phone is showing on the pic of the back of the d.l, SAY that in the live chat instead of just bringing up the 'take the photo again' screen! 3. Stop lying to the alternate contact when they call your dumb asses back and you have them on hold for over 45 minutes while they are at work and cannot talk, waiting to speak to a human. Telling them that your reason for calling them is because the renter stoled the truck and youre wondering if they know where they are. When the FACT is they are still standing outside of the truck waiting for over an hour to 3 hours for your incompetent asses to complete the pick up process so that they can obtain the keys! 4. Cease in your irrational expectation that the alternate contact is readily available to answer your call nor call you back during the pick up time, you idiots! And stop telling them that they can call you back at their convenience shen you know they are at work or otherwise unavailable and doing that would cause the renter to still be standing outside waiting for the keys code to be provided by you. Duhhhh! Or otherwise cause you to erroneously lock the pick up process for six hours or permanently since you LIE to them saying it will unlock after 6 hours when in fact it never dors and they are therefore forced to do a new reservation and be gravely inconvenienced and Damaged (their schedule, need/agenda with the truck, their valuable time and obligations, etc, etc.) 5. Stop opening customers emails and not having the decency, decorum, business ethics, professionalism, consideration, respect and tact; go reply. Let alone comply with what you're asked or instructed wherein. 6. When people reserve as 24/7 pick up, LET THEM KNOW IN THE RESERVATION SCREEN OR CONFIRMATION EMAIL that they need to call the store to change the pick up time to an after hours time of their choice/need since your website oddly doesnt show a pick up time option past the stores closing hour, but yet here ot is they need to pick up after midnight or any other time past the stores closing. If you dont add that feature/verbiage, you continue to have people showing up for pick up and the truck is no longer their or is camcelled by the store who assumed they are not coming. 7. Realize that TextNow.com IS a paid phone plan with dedicated phone numbers amd purchased phones using the Sprint towers and charging customers month to month contracts of $19.99 plans and

The staff and customer need to be on the same page about checking in with the mobile app. The lady was very nice and helpful, but was very confused when she couldn't check me in because I had the mobile check-in. Getting "verified" at the beginning when picking up the truck was time-consuming and frustrating and we had to do it multiple times; I wish there had been an option prior to pickup so I could have uploaded all my information instead of having to wait around on my dime for the rental. Same thing with checking back in. I guess I wish I had a better understanding of what I would need to do when returning the truck as well. When I clicked 'return the truck' I was already inside the building, so I'd parked and given her the keys. Had I known that beforehand, and had she been aware that she wasn't needed, I think the transaction would have been much faster and painless. Other than that, we loved using the actual Uhaul. Booking online was a breeze, good, fair pricing.

The trucks are parked on the street and not in their lot, which they do have. No reason for that. Made finding parking when returning and then try to parallel park a truck awful.

Bad experience, we rented a van for 24 hours but the Man in the Office didn't tell us that that day would be closed, so...we called the customer service number and the antipathic Miss demanded that I returned to deliver the truck the next day and forced me to ask for a work permit to solve a problem no mine!!!I don T recommend to anyone,realtà incompetent people
