There is NO LOT for parking vehicles at this location. There is STREET PARKING ONLY for returning vehicles on a street with multiple areas you are prohibited from parking in and that are subject to fines. On top of this, absolutely terrible, truly abysmal, customer service at this location. Not only would I not recommend this location, I am going to actively discourage people from going there. Horrible horrible horrible rental location: DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION.

The van was fine even though it was a little beat up. My real complaint was with the psychopath working the U-Haul rentals at Big City Auto Body & Towing. My reservation was at 9 AM, I arrived at 8:59 AM only to get screamed at that they had not opened yet. I also did not have a face mask on which she warned me that I would not be serviced without one, even though she did not have one, and all this while sitting behind a bullet proof glass window. A total Bitch! Honestly the worst experience. But hey, she's living her best life. smh..

The woman who lent us the van was short and seemed grumpy. While I understand that COVID restrictions are important and agree (I work in healthcare), the 1-person limit in the area was a little overkill considering another person was going to drive and needed to be there as well for our particular transaction, not to mention there was a glass shield in front of the employee anyway, and we all had masks. So it was a bit frustrating/limiting and not really handled in the friendliest of ways.

The woman that works here is a nightmare. She yelled at me for no reason when I was trying to explain to her my issue. I couldn't locate the code for the lock box to get my key and she talked over me and wouldn't let me get a word in and when I asked her what her problem was she threatened to cancel my U-Haul and then refused to talk to me. so I had to call U-Haul to get help. She withheld my truck key and then threw it at me (after U-Haul called her to mediate). She was so unnecessarily aggressive from the get go and I will never ever be using U-Haul again, thanks to this experience.

It was the worst nightmare renting a truck from Uhaul. The rental process through app must be improved. Drivers with international licenses have harder time going through the verification process. Took about an hour to only get verified.

These people were very disrespectful. The business stink. It smells like cat and mold. I wasn't given the proper paperwork for the truck i received. The gas was halfway full. The lady told me and my wife to wher a mask but she didn't have any mask on. The supervisor was very disrespectful very close to racist if you ask me. It was extremely difficult to find the van. Took time from pickup and drop off because there were no parking spots available. The last representative I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive, did not really help with my problem. Ended up wasting time roaming around looking for parking. Was not satisfied with his customer service at all.

I had rented vehicles at this location before without the assistance of any counter person (since there is no real u-haul facility. there) this time I guess. because I had rented a trolly and pads, I needed to go to the Body shop there. I was confused since the app online told me to go to the counter to retrieve the key, I did. not see a signal saying the body shop was "the counter", I called. and the operator called the counter person in the body shop. When I received the instructions from the operator on where to go I enter the body shop office and the lady was really rude, first I did not have a mask on (which was wrong of my part) but she screamed at me to put it on, I apologize and I did, then she proceeded to tell me very rude that I "should know there is the place where the key is delivered, u-haul just called me", I tried to apologized again and explained I did not know but I could not string a phrase when she rudely cut me off to asked me what she could do for me, I could not say a word before she scream "I will not give you anything until you give me an ID", I did and she continue to tell me all procedures and things about how. to park and where etc but in a very rude way. I left with the key an other equipment I rented, I was taken aback by the attitude of the lady. I certainly chose the location because is closer to my house but never again if that means I have to encounter that person again. When I returned the truck there was a gentleman with the lady and he was a delight! he asked me how I was and if everything went well, he was such a nice guy! I did not even addressed the lady. I love u-haul and I have used many times but honestly they need to improve their customer service.

I first reserved at a location in brooklyn the night before on the day of the owner calls me and tells me he doesnt have a 24/7 truck so i have to change my reservation i then proceed to change it to another nearby location whenni arrived there at 6(my reservation time) app starts glitching and it says i cant get truck until they open so i call customer service to wait 30 mins for a response and they tell me their truck is not 24/7 that they only had a 9' van available so i had no other option and change it to a van. Once they changed the reservation my van was nowhere to be found and had to be relocated to another location the closest was 30 mins away so i had to drive 30 mins to get there overall it took 2 hours to receive my truck which is ridiculous just to also be informed that i couldnt leave it near a uhaul location where i was and had to take it back to the same location 30 mins away which was a huge incovenience. overall horrible experience and it was first time using this service

Unprofessional and extremely rude service! The brakes on the vehicle were so bad that it was just dangerous and a hazard to drive it. Basically it felt as if Uhaul doesn't care about customer service and the safety of their customers! I called the national customer service to complain about this, and even though the person was courteous, it seemed as if my complaint was not really dealt with. All in all and example of a brand that seems it can't even uphold the most basic customer service principles. And don't shy away from delivering a sub par product.

First, there was no car keys on the locker that the reservation indicated. Then, the old lady at the front desk was extremely rude and screaming and not very helpful. Then upon returning the van, there is no assigned parking lot for it which makes all of this even worse experience. Never going back to this location and never recommend to anyone.

I have used this location twice and it is always a problem. The system lock boxes never work and it is impossible to get someone to help. It took us 50 minutes to get out vehicle this time around and that is not acceptable.

The employee helping us was unnecessarily rude and yelled at my dad when he was trying to show her his ID… which she asked for. Then, when we got in the car it reeked of cigarette smoke and there were even empty Marlboro containers, and many of the surfaces were sticky. I have been to other locations and it was not like this. Will definitely be renting from dedicated Uhaul locations from now on.

The staff here knows what they are doing. The lady handling the rentals knows how to handle the procedures and understands how to expedite each transaction to minimize the time customers have to spend checking the vehicles out. Very pleased with the service at this location.

TLDR: The app is buggy, didn't get the dolly I reserved but was still charged for it, and its almost impossible to find parking to return the vehicle.... Not a good experience. I used the TruckShare 24/7 service for an overnight move and it was very difficult to get verified, the app is very buggy and sometimes doesn't upload photos, (use the browser instead of the app it works better.) One of the representatives on the other end told me they couldn't get the van and should try again the next day, then she disconnected me. I kept trying and it took almost an hour standing in the freezing cold to finally get in touch with someone who could authorize my reservation. I was finally able to get the van, but the next problem was they didn't include the dolly that I reserved, and the place was closed at the time so there was no one to help resolve the issue. So I had to do the move heavy boxes without a dolly which made everything extremely difficult and take a lot longer. Then when returning the van I had to drive around for 45 minutes to find somewhere to park. I asked a crossing guard if the spot I parked at was ok, she said yes. Then I was going through the process of finalizing the return, and the app wouldn't let me upload the required images. I used chrome and it worked fine, makes me wonder what's the point of even having an app if it doesn't work. Then once I thought I was done with the drama, I go over to return the key and one of the workers yelled at me and said I can't park where I did... she watched me park where I was and waited til finished the process before telling me I did it wrong, she could've told me earlier. Anyway I left the van where it was because the crossing guard said it was ok. The worker was still yelling saying if they get a ticket for where I parked they would bill me. At that point I was too exhausted to argue, I didn't want to drive around for another hour just to find parking, they really should have a reserved area for their vehicles, I just said fine and gave her the keys. I would not recommend this location.

I have used U-Haul before and the service you provide is great. However this particular location offered a very poor experience. The woman was rude, inpatient, refused to listen to my concerns and in fact almost refused to process my reservation because I was asking too many questions and I was asking her to please explain the self check out process. I was scheduled to move out, so I really had no option but to support this horrible customer service. I would never do it again at this location and for sure I wouldn't recommend this to a friend or an enemy. She was very unpleasant. The van itself and the self checkout process was nice and easy via the link on the txt. The bad part was the encounter with this woman at the location.
