Be wise is a great establishment. The U-Haul rental experience was a disaster. Rented a 10-ft truck ended up with a 9-ft van that was filthy. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned all winter. The representative called me and told me I called and switch my reservation to a 9-ft van. When I explained that I was moving it was very inconvenient and I wasn't able to get all my stuff moved on the day of my rental. He said he would call me back to let me know where the miscommunication happened. Then proceeded to tell me that I called from restricted number. I never called. He tried to blame it on bewise which I know it was not. The representative Donald Devito at that location for U-Haul ,droped the ball and wasn't very professional. Even with a $50 credit back, I will never use U-Haul again because of this experience.Elizabeth J.
I have rented U-Haul vehicles several times in the past from this location and my experience was always positive. Each time the rep was very courteous and she made the process quite easy. On this occasion, when returning the vehicle after hours, I mistakenly deposited the key and was unable to properly close out the rental on the link. Upon calling this location the next business day and prior to my call, the rep had conveniently closed out the contract with no other necessary input from me. The result was a smooth and efficient transaction. I would recommend.anthony V.
The truck was filthy in the cargo area. The windshield looked like it was swiped with a filthy floor mop on the inside. This is the only time this happened during many rentals. Everything else was fine.GREGS C.

Van was covered in mud. I had to clean the back windows and the side view mirrors before I went out on the highway. Being that Be Wise has a car wash, I would have expected the van to be spotless even if returned late at night and an appt was for the next morning but that's me.DANIEL K.

I know we just had an ice storm but there should be some protocol from U-Haul corporate for dealing with frozen solid trucks. I took 30 minutes to defrost the windshield, the mirrors and side windows didn't defrost and then when I got to my location, I couldn't get the trailer door to open for over an hour with multiple hands.BENEDETTO S.

Unknown to me at the time. The truck had NO AC. NO window defogger which caused me to have to pull over on a busy dangerous highway because of rain. I was unable to see and cost me hours of delay. Please check with remarks left by the drop off location. I want to be compensated .CARMINEP R.

Too busy to check in trailer that I returned at 1:30, did not get an email til after 6:00. I kept it an extra day for in person (not Sunday) drop off. No one assisted me and employees were curt and unhelpful when asked anything. Would not use this location again, and probably not U-Haul. Called Don DeVito regional mgr, no call back! 1. Serious problem: I couldn't find a control for the dashboard lights. Since I couldn't see the numbers on the speedometer, I couldn't tell how fast I was going. 2. The radio antenna was missing, so I couldn't use the radio. 3. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train! Otherwise, generally an excellent experience.Gary N.

Have fully functional equipment. When I arrived at this site I checked in. They told me to drive my vehicle to where the Dolly was located. I waited 20 minutes before I called and said where's the person to hook it up it's like they forgot. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle the ratchet strap mechanism was completely shot. The strap kept coming lose every few miles and the left signal light wasn't working at all. I found out when I got pulled over. Horrible equipment horrible experience. overall location and vehicle no issues but the check-in process due to covid was a little bit much. They have so many questions and so much stuff you had to do for rent a cargo van, for one day. I get they do it for Covid and to be safe but they had customers sitting in there waiting with the women who checks people out , why couldn't you help me and answer my questions instead of pointing me out the door and to go use my phone, why is she even there then .. everyone can check themselves out no more humans to do the job so sadtaylor P.

While the van was pretty clean, I would have felt better if it had been wiped down with disenfectant a little bit. There was dust and a little dirt on the dash so I do not think that was done. Bewise was great. The problem is the uhaul.com/share when you return the truck after business hours. I spent about 40 minutes trying to get the application to acknowledge that I was at the right location and it never could. I could't get past that point in the application. So I finally just left the key in the box and left. I was even on the Bewise WI-FI. I expect not to get charged the $20 fee for inspection by the rental place because the application was useless.Joseph D.

The location and truck were great. The app did not work upon check in and check out. If it wasn't for the good people working at BeWise, I would of cancelled my reservation. You push your customers to use the app but the app does not work. I will be needing a truck, several more times, but will look elsewhere, unless Uhaul makes this right.Mark S.
checkout system needs some improvement. Even though I was asked to scan my drivers license electronically prior to my getting to the dealer, the clerk still needed to re scan my license on the premises, and had a great deal of difficulty in getting your system to accept it. Not sure where the problem is, but was time-consuming. Trailer had one ratchet strap that was difficult to use and one ramp was hard to pull out and re-insert.Keith G.
