The cargo van was FILTHY, I could write my name on the dust/dirt. There was a USED/DIRTY Mask in the van!!! The side mirror was broken. Really dissapointed.

Truck was not at the location--had to go across st. to get it. It had broken glass and some type of liquid in it (trusted the guy when he said it was clean). Had to wait for owner to arrive at the location. then he helped other customers first even tho' we had reservation. Uhaul is not priority here. Avoid this place if you can.

The pricing was way higher than I was quoted or expected. It would have been cheaper for me to rent a truck through Discount or Hertz. Probably won't rent again with UHaul for that very reason.

I have no issues with the U-haul location, I just would like to point out that the method of after hours drop off; texting to the link provided at this location is tricky (drop off is across the street in an extra lot). I didn't realize that questionnaire was going to ask for photos of the fuel gauge and odometer to be taken while using the link. I did take photos, but the link/service doesn't allow already taken photos; I only discovered this after I dropped off the key and couldn't get back into the vehicle I was using.

Owner would not complete the truck check in while we waited. Wouldnt confirm mileage or gas level or even look at the truck for return condition. Truck was left parked on the road. FInal truck closure documentation resulted in extra gas charge due to inaccurate fuel level shown on virtual documentation.

Very disappointed in your staff and service. First time we went into your location there were no trucks available yet they had about 15 sitting In the lot right beside. My grandfather(74) was told to GO HOME and order online! The ordering process online as long and very difficult. He went on the day scheduled to pick up our uhaul to find he had to drive across town to pick it up because they didn't have any. Even though we paid to reserve it. Once he got to that location the sales representative had no clue how to look up our reservation and made my grandfather fill out a whole new report. We never got all the supplies we had originally reserved. The truck they first tried to give him was a total wreck and ready to fall apart. Luckily my grandfather knew a thing or two about trucks and reasonable customer service! He went back into the building and got assigned a better truck however this truck was extremely dirty and had only a quarter of a tank left! He was told he had to go and fill it himself. And still return the truck with a full tank. No reimbursement for the previous gas he had to put in when it should have already been full! I am beyond disgusted by the service that was provided for my grandfather.

I could not adjust the outside mirrors left-right. They worked fine up-down. Not a big deal, I'm just fussy about having my mirrors just so.

Worst experience ever !! Booked a 20 feet truck 2 months befor my move. I selected the location in carp which has a counter service to avoid having problems with picking up the keys as I had some negativ feedback on that process. The nightmare started at 8 am when I received a call from that office informing me that finally there is no 20 feet truck and I have to choose between a 15 and 26 !!! So I told them that I will take the 26...at 9h30 I arrived to the location to pick up then another surprise, the 26 truck was not starting and obviously the agent knew that.. after 45 min I have been sent to another location but there, collecting the keys is done online and it was again an awfull experience ...lost more than one hour in making calls to try to open the lock to collect the keys ..since it did not work, they send me to a third location which had a counter service..and there again another surprise they did not have furniture pads !! Lost 3.5 hours, had to sentback the helpers scheduled to help me for the move ... overall a very bad experience and your staff acting like it is a normal situation... !!!!

first i take a reservation in Aylmer, Québec...change my destination to a place over 40 minutes away, change my location hours without telling me !! the trailer was in bad condition..one tie down strap was almost gone, brake fluid leak everywhere on my car.....i rent 4 trailer in the past month and can have a honest service...dont give me any discount for all the trouble ! very disapointed about the service this time !!!

truck was very dirty , inside cab was dirty and not sanitized , back of truck inside was very dirty , complained to manager on robertson rd where i picked up the truck , and was told that they do not clean or sanitize the truck , and was told to take the truck as is or leave it , was rude , had to run to other end of town and pickup cleaning suplies and come back to clean inside of truck , real inconvinance , will never go to that location again on robertson rd

Check-in Clerk had trouble providing receipt and deposit return. Initially asked customer to drive vehicle to another parking location up the street. When I refused they did not pursue the matter. Would not recommend this location for service.

I did everything online. Very simple, efficient and easy. Great price! The only thing that I would say to improve would be to add a fuel chart to the website. For filling purposes when returning the vehicle.

This has to do with the U-Haul website... it gave me the wrong Uhaul location for pickup. It also made me fill out the information for towing vehicle and vehicle to be towed on the auto trailer and it said everything was good yet when I picked up the trailer they would not rent to me with the vehicle I I was using as their system said it wasn't able to tow it. I said why did the website say it could? He said that I couldn't go by the website. What's the point in having this feature on your website? The trailer had a sticker on it saying the weight which was under my vehicle specifications for towing yet I still couldn't use my vehicle and had to borrow a vehicle.

Truck was really dirty. There lots of cigarette ash and stain, Tim Hortons cup. Windshield wipers were very small than original. Driver side door does not close properly. Between the Office and parking lot which truck parked was far away and should walk under the snowfall. Its weird and inconvenient.

Orleans was the worst service. We. Reserved 4 weeks before and no trucks . It delayed ys for 4 hours and very bad service . Never again. Should of read the reviews before. Never again

I used the UHAUL Mobile booking because I needed a van before locations were open. No problem right? I arrive to the location, logged in and found out that the system booked my pickup for the day before, but my confirmation had the correct time. An hour later, at another location.. I did receive a van. Only major issue was I had to spend about 15 minutes clearing all the snow and ice off of it. We were only about 20 minutes late for our appointment, but good thing I had made sure plan extra time!

We had quite a wait before someone actually came to the counter. Once the person was at the counter, the owner, the service was good. It was a weekend, so I was renting a vehicle (van) for my business use (as opposed to sending a staff member). I can't send staff to a vendor and have them use up time waiting for service. Thank you.

The location emailed to me was incorrect. I was sent to the wrong location in December, and the man at the mechanic shop tells me this happens all the time. I get out to the rental that's actually in Nepean. And after renting the truck, nothing has been cleared or readied for me. The truck is covered in a sheet of ice, that I spent 20 minutes chipping away at with my hands and a cardboard box from the front of the truck. The back was frozen shut so I had to drive back to the dealer and use his crowbar to open it. Would not recommend this location or service again.

Great overall deal for the money. Service was good, though finding this location was tough as they are nested inside a Napa auto parts store. The truck also had a bunch of broken glass inside.

I made a reservation last week but when I went to the location, the office was closed and there is no truck available. I had to call again and I was lucky that they found another truck for me but I wasn't happy about it at all. It was a bad experience for me. But the pickup location at 1912 ROBERTSON is not bad at all. Next time I hope you can make it sure the location is good and the truck is actually available

it was a long haul from Ottawa to Toronto, you guys should have trucks with cruise control for customer driving convenience , it was an extremely tiring drive because of cruise control absence in your trucks

I had several issues when I went to pick up the truck. On the Monday after the truck rental I called customer service and was again disappointed. She didn't acknowledge the issues or apologize for the inconveniences. I need a truck again in January but I will tell you know as I told customer service I will not be using U-haul. I will happily pay more for a better service!!

The agent at the Bells Corner Auto drop off was very accommodating. The drop off process was seamless with a large parking area across the street. I would highly recommend this Ottawa location.

It really couldn't have been any easier. The trailer was clean and in an easy spot to hook up. The only part i was a little unsure about was what ball size to use for the trailer. If there was a sticker right on the tongue it would have been easier.

There was no one to help me immediately, i had to wait 45 mins since the owner was on a drive to get himself pizza, i saw he had dollies too but he refused to rent me the dolly since it was not on my original reservation, i really had a hard time! This is unlike all other experience i had with Uhaul which were great!

I rented from Watermart, just a short distance away, but UHaul changed the rental to this location. Fortunately, it is a short walk, but it was quite surprising.

Reserved a 26' truck 2 months in advance. The day before i got a call it would not be where I requested...but 10km away. The location was part of a garage with the few UHaul trucks parked 2 blocks away. I was promised my pads and a dolly would be on the truck when I picked it up after hours. The truck was not in great shape (131,000 miles on it) and empty. The 4 dozen blankets and dolly were 50 yards across the parking lot, none in plastic bags and some on top of a rusting truck and others scattered on the ground covered in leaves and dirt. I wasted 90 minutes talking to 3 UHaul representatives and got absolutely no help, so had to clean, refold and count the blankets and load everything on the truck after another exhausting packing day so we could load the next morning. And for my troubles? I got a $50 voucher for the next time I rent something. That lack of ownership of a problem is disappointing. Keep the voucher, it's insulting to be expected to pay 100% of the cost when the delivery was far below normal expectations. And fire the person responsible for promising things that didn't happen and not picking up their phone at 7:15pm when head office tried to get them back to fix the problem. U Haul's usual level of competence was severely below standard.

The van worked very well, however the cargo area was dirty and smelled, and the get engine oil light was on, and there wasn't any wind washer fluid. But super nice people at check-in, and as said, the vehicle was very comfortable and ran well.

I called to confirm my booking and they told me they wouldn't be open due to construction. I had to rearrange my entire schedule to pick it up the night before. There were no signs up do to construction so it was difficult to find. The truck was then stuck when we picked it up. The office burned 1/8 of the tank trying to get the truck unstuck, when we returned the truck we filled it to what we had had when we took possession of the truck after it was unstuck. We were charged $30 extra for the gas. I tried calling the office and having them adjust the cost, but after being on hold the line was disconnected. I was so unsatisfied that I would rather just pay that charge than deal with them again.

We had to change location because the truck wasn't there. The first location was terrible: 3208 Albion rd. We waited for 30 minutes to not get a truck and we got screamed at by the employees at the first location. This is the definition of horrible customer service. The truck wasn't there because another employee decided to take it for the weekend and WE had to pay the price for it. AND when we got there they were screaming at another client. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE. The customer service at 1912 Robertson Rd was amazing

I was pointing to a lot down the road, told to go find my rental (other renters in lot confused as well, I was directing them) I couldn't get anything closer to my residence and told I couldn't drop it off at a more convenient location coasting us an extra 26miles. In an email I was told that I had to take the loss.

Make sure that when we booked a trailer, a month in advance, it's at the location and ready to go.. I went to 3636 INNES RD, OTTAWA, ON K1C1T1 waited for almost 3 hours to tell me that you had a trailer disponible but at the location in Kanata ... thanks you very much I really appreciated that !!! I wouldn't recommended this to anyone...

Was charged the price of a 20 foot truck but I only rented a 15 foot truck because that is the only truck that was available. Had confirmed the day before that a 20 ft truck was a going to be there, but none available in the morning. Had reserved pads and dolly, and furniture dolly but none were available.

The manager was nice and helpful. Renting the van and returning it back were easy and straight forward. The location was far from us. The van was not clean. There was sands on the floor of the van.
