Second time using this location. Both times no record of my reservation. My reservation was for 9am. Owner arrived to open at 9:20. Finally left at 9:40. It seemed like I was a bother. Box was dirty. Ash tray in cab had cigarettes' in it. Front end feels like something is loose.

I rented a truck online , as well as a appliance dolly and 2 furniture movers . I went up to pick all that up and walked into a Hoarders Gas Station and no one was there . I yelled for him several times but no answer. I walked back out to talk to my wife for a few minutes, went back in and the gentleman is sitting watching TV as loud as it could go. I said “ Oh hey there you are” and he said “ Hay is for horses ,what do you need ?? I said I rented a truck online and he said and I quote “if you don't reserve it through me directly, I don't run around and get all this stuff together because I just don't have time”.This from someone that was sitting on his butt watching TV when I walked in. Once I got through with him taking all my information the experience was OK , the 26 foot truck was the same price as the smaller truck so that was nice, and he warmed up a little bit before I left but this is not the first time I've tented from him and this is not the first time that he talked down to the customer. He has a bad habit of doing that. The only reason I rented from him again is because all of the other U-Haul‘s were out of trucks and I needed to get it that day.

The place was a garage that had stuff everywhere and couldn't walk. When arrived the owner told me I had to wait 40-50 minutes bc he was installing brakes on another customers car. I tried to explain to him I had to be at a business before they closed at 5pm and couldn't wait that long. He then started yelling at me which caused both of us to get tempered. I told him I would call unadulterated and he said I can care less. I did call them and they called the owner to instruct him to rent me the trailer. He refused unless I apologized to him. Really? I had to apologize for him going off on me just to get my rental and to my location on time.

The person working there was very rude. When I walked up to speak to him because there was no truck assigned, I could already tell he had no interest in helping us. He stated he didn't know anything about the reservation and “it doesn't matter what they have. It matters what I have.” Meaning too bad if you have a reservation. He ended up letting us use a 20'. He at no point during our interact seem like he cared or wanted to help us. Other than the awful treatment by the attendant, everything was fine.

The person in charge of the location eas rude, when greeted and mention the reservation he said I don't know what you are talking about, and gave a weird look. Not helpful at all. Location was convenient cause it is close to home but I will prefer a different place to be honest.

Was told on Wednesday that I had to change my pick up location for Saturday and that they opened at 9am because I made it clear I didn't want to do online check in and was assured that someone would be at this location….no one was. We arrived at 8:50am and waited till 9:10am to call the customer service number. Was told they'd have to switch our pick up to the online option and said he would send me instructions. I received all that and went to get in truck. It was absolutely filthy. Cigarette butts and ashes in all drink holders, floor all muddy and seats just looked dirty. Turned on truck to check mileage and it was less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas and alerted me that there was 40 miles till empty with no gas station too close. Called the customer service number provided and was told it was rented in my husband's name, no it wasn't, I made the reservation and listed him a driver. This representative was more concerned about how and when my reservation was made than the whole list of complaints I had. Was informed that I would be contacted by phone or email and have not received either of those. I will never rent from this place again, nor would I recommend anyone else too. Absolute awful experience!!!!!

Operator of the location, was not punctual. He refused to clean snow and ice off of truck. It was my responsibility to clean truck and to get it out of smow

Owner at Barrets was extremely rude and very unfriendly. Would not help us with the uhaul which was stuck in the ice snow and mud. Gross location and he made it even worse. Called several times as well and was never resolved so we worked for over an hour trying to get the van out as it was stuck. Awful experience all the way around.

Even though I signed up to pick the vehicle up from the app, I was unable to at the time I wanted. I had issues with the app, and when customer service finally fixed the issue, the vehicle was locked. I had to wait until the store opened to get the key. The guy apologized for his error, which is why I rate them average.

Barrett's is completely filthy dirty and so was the man that runs it. He was terribly RUDE. I would never go back to this location. Would never recommend this location to anyone. He jerked my paperwork away from me and would not give it back or make a copy for me. No excuse for this kind of behavior!!!

The equipment was not up to the job that we described. The dolly was not big enough for the 1978 F250 that we went after. One of the tires went flat, and the truck slid off, puncturing a $300 tire and a tow truck had to help get the truck back on the dolly(another $250.Because there was no response from U-haul, we also had to purchase a tire for the dolly. A 10 hr. trip turned into a 36 hr. trip.

The pickup wasn't set up, the location didn't have a computer, and I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Customer Service, speaking to 3 different representatives all over the country to try and get this resolved.

I was disappointed I didn't receive discount price on renting an auto transport in addition to the truck. The dealer was unable pair two rental items (TM & AT) with one contract with in the U-Haul dispatching system thus two separate contracts were used.

The person who was helping the checkout of the truck was extremely rude and used vulgar and abusive language. He was upset about something and was taking it out on the customers like myself.

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting. At pick up the gentleman was rude and said “ I don't have any rental for this morning”. This was not a great way to start off my first uhaul rental. Once returned I was charged $70.50 for gas because he stated that is was at half a tank however when we picked it up it was below half. Please make sure you take a picture. During our rental we put $60 or 18.49 gallons which was more then enough to cover the 373 miles we used the truck. I will never rent from this place again.

The 10ft. rental absolutely REEKED of weed. My wife and I both got headaches. By the time we were finished loading, traveling, and unloading it had improved (we also sprayed a ton). We drove with the windows down. The site was not spacious and was very disheveled; once we got the owner's attention, he was nice but it was definitely understaffed.

I asked for a face to face check in. However, there was no one there. So, after calling support I had to check in online. She was very nice on the support call and said after I checked in online I would then get a code for a lock box. There was no lock box. The key was simply under the drivers seat. That is completely unsafe and UHaul should stop using this location.
