Business was dirty and unprofessional. Vehicle was out of gas. manager did not communicate well. Based on this I would not use Uhaul again

The fuel said it was a 1/4 tank when i left but less then 2 blocks it droped to empty and fuel lite came on. I had to $80 of fuel just to use it and then return it with a 1/ 4 of fuel that i did not even use.

Have the staff at least offer to spot someone loading a car onto the equipment to be towed.

The proprietor showed up 15-20 minutes late! Very disappointing when your day is tight with moving. Online program not great to reserve. Although I didn’t confirm my first reservation I ended up with two. The auto selection of “1” on equipment is annoying and manipulative on your part. Make me select what I want, not deselect what I don’t! Although I called to cancel one of the reservations, the wrong one was cancelled.

I would of liked the owner to sign the receipt given to me. I would have felt a bit more secure about the transaction

I really would not go to this location again. The UHaul was still dirty from the previous renters - or maybe the owner, I’m not sure. Popcorn was all over the floor of the vehicle, the steering wheel was sticky. The location was terrible, it’s hard to access and it’s on such a steep incline, I was NOT comfortable driving a UHaul in that parking lot. The owner was polite but wasn’t very communicative when it came to pricing over the phone and would not let me pay alternative ways other than my card. When I told him I might not have enough money on my card, he charged it anyways and refused to take cash. He lied about the gas being under and I was very upset. I feel like he took advantage of me because I’m from out of state (SC renting in CA) and because I’m a woman. I will NOT be going back to this location. Ever.

Should have been made aware that a 2" ball and 4 prong connection is needed. I and most people I know have 2 1/2 inch ball to tow with. I had to drive over 3 miles away from pick up spot to buy a 2 inch ball for $20 the person working did install the new ball.

Trailer was promised in Sacramento (45 minutes from me) then the day before the pick up location changed to Grass Valley (1 hour 45 minutes away) without contacting me.

I returned the trailer a day early, was meet by two sloppy dressed men with almost zero personal interaction. One of them unhooked the trailer asked if everything was ok, I explained the lights, being pulled over three time and pointed out the mess of wires in the back. He didn't say a word or apologize. He walked away, I followed him inside, he then started talking to another customer, I stood There and he finally said you are all paid, you can go.
